Chapter 11

two months later

     Anndee was lying on the couch of the condo Transcon rented for the few days they had off. JC and Justin were talking about their upcoming album, Lance was in the kitchen, and Joey and Chris were playing cards with Britney.
     "I'm bored," Britney said," let's play a game."
     "We are Britney honey," Chris stated," it'll be all right, maybe if we get you some brown hair die..."
     "I meant EVERYONE and not cards you funky haired freak."
     "Like what?" Anndee asked from the couch.
     "Word Association?" Britney suggested.
     "OOOOH, I like that idea," Chris quipped, " I did graduate...."
     "WE KNOW!" they all yelled.
     "I'm game"
     "Me too"
     "me three"
     "I'll play"
     "Same here"
     "Good!" Britney and Chris responded.
     "I wanna go first, someone ask me first, me first, me first!"
     "OKAY Chris calm down." Justin yelled, "House?"
     "Jennifer Lopez"
     "Um okay, how bout...water?"
     "Jennifer Lopez"
     "Sun?"
     "Jennifer Lopez"
     "Chris the first word that pops into your braided head no matter what we say is gonna be Jennifer Lopez isn't it?" JC asked.
     "Yep," he answered.
     " Okay, Justin's turn," Britney said, "Bee?"
     "Ball,"
     "Blue?"
     "Baby,"
     "Snake?"
     "Death!"
     "Joey's turn," Chris cut in," hands?"
     "Women,"
     "Bag?"
     "Women."
      "JOEY!"Anndee and Britney gawked.
     "What?"
     "Toes?" Chris questioned Joey.
      "Sucking."
     "OK, Joey's done." Lance interjected rolling his eyes," I say it's Anndee's turn, Baby?"
     "Adorable"
      "Kids?"
     "Lots of them"
     "Sin?"
     "What kind of sin?" Anndee asked with a grin.
     "Nevermind, JC's turn," Lance replied," Eyes?"
     "Blue"
     "Heart?"
     "Love"
     "ok then love?"
     "Anndee".........

     No one had moved for the last few minutes.
     "So?" Chris asked, " are you finally gonna admit it?"
     "Admit what?" JC asked.
     "That your in love with Anndee." Justin responded.
     "WHAT?" Anndee exclaimed.
     "You might as well fess up too Anndee" Joey retorted.
     "Fess up to what?" She asked.
     "You love JC just as much as he loves you." Lance put in.
     "Wow, this is so cool!" Britney said.
     "There is no denying it now," Lance said," so just tell each other."
     "This is riduculous," Anndee responded as she got up and made her way to the stairs," I'm leaving."
     "I love you." she heard JC quietly say.
     "Ok, maybe I'll stay," Anndee stated," You DO?"
     "Since the first moment I looked into your beatiful blue eyes, which by the way are still pretty even without your contacts."
     "This isn't your idea of a sick joke?" Anndee asked as she sat down in front of him.
     "NO," He answered.
     She took his face into her hands.
     "Kiss him." Britney whispered.
     "Shh!" the others said.
     "Sorry"
     Anndee looked into JC's blue eyes. "OH my god, you do don't you?" She cried.
     "Yes" he replied.
     "I love you too" she said, then she kissed him.

Chapter 12

the present

     "God, why is she doing this?" Chris thought as he watched an agonized JC walk up the stairs.
     "She probably thinks she's doing the right thing." Lance said reading Chris' mind.
          "How can this be right?" Chris asked.
     "He loves her." Joey put in.
     "Maybe she no longer loves him." Justin added.
     The three of them turned to him. "Ok, then what is it?" Justin asked.
     "I don't know but I think we should find out."

     "This is tearing her apart," Shanna said to Cori.
     "And we can fix it" Cori responded.
     "But we promised not to tell JC or any of the guys what to guy from Transcon said."
     "We also promised we wouldn't tell JC were she was either," Shanna said," but we did."
     "We were only trying to help," Cori replied.
     "She is so torn up about this, she's even getting sick."
     "I know, she's been in that bathroom every morning for the last few weeks." Shanna stated.
     "No one can cheer her up, not even Britney."
     "I bet Chris could Cheer her up."
     "I don't think even Chris could cheer her up"
     "Well at least there is one upside to all of this," Cori stated.
     "What?"
     "All this heartache is making for a really good new album."

Chapter 13

Flashback four months ago

     "Happy 6 Month Anniversary!" Chris, Lance, Joey, Justin, Chris, Cori, Shanna, Britney, and a few Transcon people yelled as JC and Anndee walked into the room.
     " How does it feel to have been dating, for lack of a better word, for 6 months now?" Someone asked them.
"I can't believe you guys remembered!" JC exclaimed.
     "How could we forget?" Britney gawked, " The most romantic thing to ever take place and I was there to witness it."
     "How sweet." Anndee replied.
      Britney continued, "I have never seen anytning like it," Britney paused, "Now why can't anything like that happen to me?"
     Everyone laughed.

later at the party

     "Hey Karl, how are things in the P.R. Dept.?" Anndee asked.
     "Okay, I guess."
     "You guess? Is something wrong?" she asked.
     "Well, tidbits about you and JC are leaking out." He said.
     "So?"
     "As tidbits get out *N Sync Record sales go down!"
     "Really?" she asked.
     "Yeah, but it's not like your gonna dump JC just to save the guys careers, right?" He replied as he walked away, leaving Annde to think about what he had said.

later at JC's apartment

     "I love you DeeDee!"
     "I love you too, Mi Amo!" Anndee replied as JC kissed her neck.
     "I love it when you talk Italian to me," he growled as she giggled when his breath tickled her ear," It turns me on!"
     "Ah, Cara mia, ho amo eternita" she replied right before he kissed her with full passion.
     "I want you so bad," he said.
     "I want you too." Anndee had unbottoned his shirt, and as she kissed his shoulders and made her way down his strong chest, he removed it.
     His lips never leaving her body for a second. "We better stop," JC said between kisses.
     "Do you really want to?" Anndee asked, kissing him with all she was worth.
     "God NO!"
     "Then don't, make love to me," she said as looked into his eyes, "make love to me now!"
     " I love you!" he said as he kissed her like he had never kissed her before and slowly started to remove their clothes.

Chapter 14

The present

     "Okay, that's it, we are taking you to a doctor." Cori said to a green Anndee as Shanna held her hair back while she vomited.
     " I don't need one!"
     "HELLO, you've been ralphing for the last three weeks!"
     "Ralphing?" Anndee asked," I haven't heard that one in awhile."
     "You know," Shanna said," if I didn't know any better, I would swear you were pregnant!"
     Anndee froze! "Oh my god!" she whispered.
     Cori and Shanna looked at each other.
     "You and JC had SEX?" Shanna asked in astonishment.
     "No we didn't have SEX."
     "Oh good," Cori said, "ya had me for a second..."
     "We made LOVE, we did not have sex" Anndee replied with indignation.
     " Oh sweetie!" they said as they knelt down beside her.
     "It was the most amazing experience of my life." she said mainly to herself.
     "Well the most amazing experience of your life may have gotten you..OH SWEETIE, OVER THE TOILET, OVER THE TOILET!"

     "Look at it this way JC," Joey said," at least you two didn't complicate things by sleeping together."
     Tears of rememberance sprang to JC's eyes.
     "Oh man!" the other four exclaimed.
     "Man I'm Sorry!" Joey apologized.
     "Don't be I'm not ,"JC answered.
     "At least you had it once to remember," Justin replied.
     "Man don't be crude!" Lance interjected.
     "I'm sooo sorry, that came out all wrong!" Justin apologized.
     "No wonder your so heart broken," Chris cut in," it's hard to find a chick that's good in the sack!"
     JC turned around and punched him square in the face. "DON'T YOU EVER SAY ANYTHING LIKE THAT ABOUT ANNDEE AGAIN!"

      "I can't believe I'm sitting in a doctors office waiting to find out if my best friend is pregnant." Shanna thought out loud.
     "Thanks Shanna" Anndee responded.
     "She was only thinking out loud." Cori defended.
     "I gathered that," Anndee replied dryly.
     "Hey, at least I got rid of that pesky nurse," Shanna exclaimed.
     "She was just excited," Anndee explained," she's a fan."
     "Like we didn't notice," Cori said as Shanna mimicked the nurse.
     " OH MY GOD, do you know who you are, your you, Anndee, THE Anndee, the singer, THE Anndee!"
     "Do they always forget that you have a last name?" Cori asked.
     "Pretty much." Anndee responded.
     "Okay, Miss Claracuzio, do you want the good or bad news first?" The doctor asked as she wisked into the room.
     "The good news first"
     "Like duh!"
     "Shanna shh!"
     "Sorry."
     "Well Miss Claracuzio the good news is your in good health."
     "And the bad?" Cori asked.
     "Well hate it when this comes as BAD news, but..."
     "Well what is it?"
     "Miss Claracuzio your roughly four months pregnant!"

Elsewhere

     "Here's some ice, has it stopped bleeding?" Lance asked Chris.
     "Yeah, I can't believe I said that!"
     "Neither can I" Justin and Lance stated.
     "I can" Joey replied, "but I know you didn't mean it."
     "I would have done the same thing if you had said that about Marie," Lance quipped.
     "JC is gonna hate me forever now."
     "He'll get over it." Justin said.
     "Once he realizes you didn't mean it." Lance added.
     "I guess my warped mind thought it might make him feel better."
     "There's only one thing that could make JC feel any better." Lance replied.
     "Hard Rock Cafe menus?"
      "No."
     "More Sleep?"
     "No"
     "Well what then?"
     "Anndee!"

Chapter 15

     "She's WHAT?" Britney exclaimed.
     "Pregnant." Cori replied.
     "Oh girl." Britney said as she sat down next to Anndee and put her arms around her.
     "What am I gonna do?" Anndee asked.
     "Tell JC!" they all answered her.
     "This would really ruin his career!" Anndee responded.
     "He has a RIGHT to know!"
     "Especially since your already four months along."
     "How could I be carrying a child inside me for four months and not even know?" Anndee asked.
     "You had other things on your mind?" Britney offered.
      "Do you want us to go with you when you tell him?" Cori asked.
     "No"
     "You sure you wanna do this alone?" Shanna asked.
     "No, I'm not gonna tell him."
     "WHAT!" Three voices rang out.
     "My god Anndee he's this baby's father!"
     "I am fully aware of that thank you."
     "If you don't I will." Cori stated.
     "Or I will." Shanna responded.
     "I'm with them." Britney added.
     "Ok, I'll tell him!" Anndee answered," But give me some time, and promise not to say anything to JC until I do."
     "We promise" they answered.
     "Thank you, I'm gonna lay down now!" Anndee said as she walked upstairs.
     "So we can't tell JC." Britney said.
     "But she didn't say we can't tell the rest of the group did she?"

     "I'll get it," Justin ran to the door, "Brit whas uppers?"
     "Is JC here?" she questioned.
     "No"
     "Good, that'll make this easier."
     "Huh?"
     "Will you please get the others in here?" she asked.
     "Yeah sure," Justin replied. "Guys get your butts in here!" he yelled.
     " I coulda done that" Britney said.
     "Hey Brit," Lance said coming from the den.
     "Britney!" Joey yelled as he and Chris came down the stairs. "Oh my god whappened to Chris?"
     "Long story, so what did you want us all here for?" Lance asked.
      "Well first of all you all better sit down." she said.
     "Is something wrong?" Justin asked.
     "Kinda" she replied.
     "What is it?" Joey asked as they sat down.
     "It's about Anndee," she said.
     "Has she finally come to her senses?" Chris asked.
     "No, but something as come up that complicates things even more, and she made me promise not to tell JC."
     "But not us right?" Lance replied.
     "Well i'm sure she meant you guys too, but she didn't say it."
     "Well what is?" Joey asked.
     "Is she pregnant?" Chris said with a laugh.
     Britney just gave them all a look that said it all.
     "Oh my god , She's PREGNANT!"
     "And she's not telling JC!"
     "What has gotten into her?"
     "That I did promise not to tell you, so maybe you should go ask Karl." Britney replied.
     "Karl the guy from PR?" Joey asked.
     "Oh my god," Lance exclaimed, "I think I know why she left JC now!"
