Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone by J.K. Rowling is a magnificent fantasy that takes place in the magical world of wizards and witches rather the world of Muggles, or ordinary, un-magical humans. The story begins when Harry Potter, the hero is only a baby. He survives from the evil powerful dark magic of the most feared dark wizard in the magical world, an evil dark wizard who had killed many including Harry’s parents, an evil dark wizard whose name Voldemort was feared to be said by all in the magical world... After surviving from Voldemort, Harry is only left with a lightning scare on his forehead, and Voldemort mysteriously disappears... Harry becomes a famous hero in the magical world! But he doesn’t know it at a young age. Being orphaned, he is forced to live in the Muggle world with his aunt, uncle, and cousin, who all despise him and fear him since he is not a Muggle. With these relatives, he sleeps in the cupboard under the stairs. As he grows up he is taunted by his fat and piggish cruel cousin. On his eleventh birthday, all of this changes! Hagrid, a friendly giant from the magical world came to inform him that not only he was a wizard, but that he was enrolled at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. At this magic school, Harry’s life turns around. He makes friends for the first time. He learns all about magic and the magical world. He plays Quidditch, which is primarily soccer high up in the air on broomsticks! He embarks on a quest to find the precious sorcerer’s stone, in which he even encounters his enemy Voldemort, and his life is put in great danger...
