Dear Coaches, Athletes and Spectators:
We look forward to welcoming you the the 13th Annual New Jersey Scholastic Rowing Championship to be held at Cooper River Park, Cherry Hill, NJ on Sunday April 28, 2002.
Please take a moment to read the following information.
1. Parking will be provided free for all team buses, vans and trailers. Vans and buses are not allowed in the trailer designated areas. They are allowed to park behind the Hilton (directly across the street from the race course) along the park.
2. Parking for spectators will be provided at the baseball field on North Park Drive $7.00 per vehicle. The baseball field is located about 200 meters above the finish line. Parking attendants will be there to assist you. Spectators will not be allowed to park on North Park Drive as it will become a "NO PARKING ZONE" to the public on Sunday morning. If you choose free parking it can be located about 3/4 of a mile up the road from the finish line. If it rains the baseball field will be closed and we will use Bishop Eustace Preps parking lot across the street.
YOU WILL BE TOWED AT YOUR OWN EXPENSE IF YOU PARK IN THE STAGING AREA OR ANYWHERE OUTSIDE THE BASEBALL FIELD.
3. If your program wishes to sell t-shirts or other promotional items at the regatta they must purchase a permit from the regatta at the cost of $50.00. The regatta will have its own line of regatta t-shirts for the event.
4. School and parent groups are allowed to cook for their teams and coaching staff, but you can not sell to the public. Please use the utmost caution when using a grill. Properly dispose of coals and waste after you are done cooking.
5. Please make sure that your area in the park is cleaned up before you depart for the day. It is your responsibilty to properly dispose of trash. If you need extra trash bags please come to the finish line and we will provide them for you.
6. Tents for schools and parent groups along the river bank are allowed. You will be asked to move them if the following guidelines are not met. Please use the following guidelines when putting up your tents. No tent will be within 100 feet of the finish line area as it will obstruct our vision. Keep all tents 40 feet from the riverbank. If you need additional space use the area behind your tent. Tents may be set up the night before the regatta.
