| Vegeta is the evil prince of the Saiyajin race and one of the most powerful Saiyajins. Vegeta was one of the Saiyajins away at the time the planet Vegeta was destroyed. He and Nappa, another Saiyajin, recieved communication from Raditz before he died about the Earth's dragonballs, and they set out on their Saiyajin space pods in attempt to go to Earth and destroy its inhabitants. When Vegita finally arrived, he and Nappa both destroyed buildings and killing people in their Saiyajin beliefs. They attempt to also kill some Z fighters. At the same time, Goku is wished back to life and weakens Nappa. Vegita kills Nappa because of his foolish rest and suffering and battles Goku himself. Goku and Gohan eventually defeat him, but a lot of important Z characters are killed through the series including Piccolo, who sacrificed himself to save Gohan. Vegita had a tendency to be jealous of much stronger people, because he had always thought of himself as the strongest in the Saiyajin race. Vegeta reached the level of Super Saiyajin in the Freeza series. He allied with the Z warriors to defeat Freeza and other bad guys. His jealousy of Goku was like peer pressure, but he always strived to be the best, not the second best. In the Buu series, he became Majin-Vegeta and self-destructed in attempt to kill Buu, and was later brought back to fight Buu along with Goku, where he fuses with him. Vegita marries Bulma and has a son named Trunks and a daughter Bra. Throughout the series, Vegeta becomes a better and less evil man than he was in his own series, and he is still prince of the Saiyajins. Vegita can fuse with Son Goku to become Vegito and Gogeta.
