| Tenshinhan(AKA Tien) was a three-eyed student of Tsuru-sennin, a rival of Kame-sennin, and travels with his companion Chiao-Tsu. He can even communicate telepathically with Chiao-Tsu and beat Goku in the Tenkaichi-Budokai(Goku actually forfeited this because he was hungry). He was just about Goku's height and size and was second-best in the Dragonball series. Tien was very strong and was one of the most powerful fighters on Earth. After he won the tournament, he left Tsuru-sennin and took training with Kame-sennin. In the Dragonball Z series, Tien, like Yamcha, was not very powerful and not as good as the other Z fighters yet maintained their part in the series, where they were considered more like a minor character yet appeared occasionally. He was killed by Nappa but revived with a dragonball wish. Tien was seen as one of the weakest characters in Dragonball Z and was not as important a character as he was in the Dragonball series. Tenshinhan can use the Shishin no Ken, a technique that allows him to seperate into different parts so he could vary during battle. |
