| Mr. Satan is the "hero of Earth" that everyone hears about(those who don't know about Goku and the Saiyajins). He was the world's most famous boxing champion and challenged Cell when Cell came to Earth to seek the fighters worthy of fighting him. Mr. Satan fooled the world into thinking he was the greatest fighter by paying off #18 to win the Budokai. Mr. Satan also took credit to the world of defeating Cell, but really just foolishly forfeited in battle. When Buu threatened the Z warriors, Mr. Satan was there to convince Majin Buu not to kill anyone and befriended him to fight with the Z warriors. He had also convinced everyone to contribute power for Goku's Genki Dama which killed Buu and thus ended the conflict.
