Hyper Mode:
In one player mode with three computer opponents, complete the Who's The Best mode five times in a row on the hard difficulty setting within one match. Hyper will be unlocked as a new difficulty setting for Computer players.
Attack First:
Right after you choose a move and you want to go first instead of the Computer, hold L and press A.
Do Extra Damage To Pokemon:
After you have done an attack, hold A when the move appears.
Take Less Damage:
Use the following trick when your Pokémon is about to faint, to leave you with enough HP to attack your opponent once. When your opponent's Pokémon begins to use their attack, hold Down, L, and B at the same time, until the energy takes its affect. When the energy leaves, you will have a chance to strike your opponent's Pokémon. Works 80% of the time. Doesn't work when the levels are out of range, like say a level 40 Dragonaire against a level 100 Parasect.
Different Pokemon Colors:
Pokemon that you register from the Game Boy can have different colors. Giving your Pokemon nicknames will change their colors. To do this you can switch the Pokemon name; like say for example Gengar can be called Ragneg or just make the name lower case, or put a hyphen in between.
Talking Pikachu:
Register Pikachu from your yellow version of the game boy game to Pokemon Stadium. When battling, Pikachu will say its name and have different motions for certain moves.
Get A Temporary Mew:
Mew will become available, as a rental Pokemon, in the Round Two version of the game. He can only be played in the Prime Cup tournament, Gym Leader Castle, Free Battle, and Mewtwo Battle modes.
Get The Amnesia Psyuck:
To get the amnesia Psyduck, you must register all 150 pokemon.
Get Togepi:
To get Togepi, first you have to beat the Elite 4 but instead of fighting Gary, go to the Prime Cup. Defeat the Prime Cup in Masterball mode. Then go back and defeat Gary. Togepi will now be rentable.
Fight Mewtwo:
Complete all the Cups in Stadium mode, and defeat all opponents in the Gym Leader Castle. Mewtwo is the last opponent you will face in both Round 1 and Round 2 versions of the game.
Get The Doduo, and the Dodrio GameBoy:
Once you beat the Stadium cups on the master ball, you will be awarded with the Doduo gameboy, you can test it out at The GB Tower. It makes your game go a lot faster than before, and then once you beat another master ball, you will get the Dodrio Gameboy witch speeds up the game even more.
Get A Pokemon For Your Game Boy Game:
Complete Gym Leader Castle, Elite Four, or your opponent to acquire one of the following Pokemon that can be transferred to your Game Boy: Charmander, Squirtle, Bulbasaur, Eevee, Hitmonchan, Hitmonlee, Kabuto, Omanyte. |
