Pokemon Green Info |
Pokémon Yellow is now in US . This game follows the tv series unlike Red or Blue. In the
beggining of the game you start out with Pikachu. Gary picks Eevee.
Jesse and James are in the game and their Pokémon are Ekans, Koffing,
and Meowth which all evolve later in the game just like the show. You
also have the opportunity to get Charmander, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur.
There is not all 150 in the game.
None of the Cheats for the other version work in yellow. |
Pokémon Green first orignated in Japan as part of Pokémon
Red's co-partner (Yes, at the time, Pokémon Blue did not
exist)Yet, unlike the Red version, Pokémon Green was not
sucessful at all. That is why Pokémon Blue exists today;
Pokémon Blue was just a backup for green hopefully trying to
recover over green's pitiful sales. That is why it is very doubtful if
Pokémon Green will ever show its face in the U.S. Though, green
does have its moments. In green, some Pokémon look better than
in blue, yet some people I know who own green still believe
green's Pokémon look very ugly. Also, green is supposedly to
have Mew in it unlike Blue does (excluding the use of a
Gameshark or Game Genie)Yet, if you want my advice if you
were deciding to buy Pokémon Green I would say,"No", but if
you ignore my advice expect to see an exact replica of the Blue
version just not meeting its normal standards. |

Pokemon Red and Blue Info |
Probably the most anticipated Pokémon game of the century!
Pokémon Gold and Silver have so much to offer and the
possibilities are endless. I don't know where to start! Well, I'll try
my best to provide you what I know so far.
The game will be released for Japanese gamers sometime in April
' 99 Around Christmas time for Americans :( and it will be a
sequel to the previous green, red, blue and yellow (Pikachu)
editions. What's even better is that these new versions will be in
full 56-colors (For the Color Gameboy of course) Judging from
what I seen so far, it seems inevitable that Pokemon players all
over the globe will love it. Also, there will be over 250 Pokemon
with new abilities. Some of the differences in this new version is
that:
Pokemon will have their own gender (male and female)
Pokemon can learn some of the 200 tricks included in the game.
Pokemon from the previous versions can evolve to a higher status
even if they have reached their peak in the green, red, blue and
yellow versions.
Pokemon can be crossbred for a Poke-Baby.
Oh, I almost forgot some of the new game features are:
A time clock feature since Pokemon can now sleep.
Also, some Pokemon will only battle at certain times of the day
depending on their type.
An improved battle screen.
A skateboard will be your new form of transportation.
From what I can say, Pokémon Gold and Silver will not be a
dissapointment and many people have also been wondering will
you able to trade your old Pokémon from your past games to
Gold and Silver. The answer to that is yes, but you can't trade
Pokémon from Gold and Silver to blue, green, yellow, etc. A
minor sacrifice for a big price if you ask me. Cause to me, I know
I can live without lots of things just to get my hands on these
kick-butt Pokémon games!
