TITLE: DEAR FRIEND, WITH LOVE FROM ME.

Dear friend i know you're hurting,
I can see it in your eyes,
You say your heart is breaking
And your stomach's done in ties,

Dear friend i see you crying,
And it rips my heart in two,
I see your pain and suffering,
My sympathy goes to you,

Dear friend i hear you cursing,
And wishing life away,
But i promise life will get better,
More so with everyday,

Dear friend i feel you shaking,
As i hold you in my arms,
At this moment there's part of you missing,
That certain special charm,

Dear friend i feel your pain,
I need for you to see,
That everytime you cry these tears,
You take a part of me,

Dear friend please know i'm here for you,
To share some of your pain,
To be here for you when it's sunny,
And even when it rains,

Dear friend you need to know that,
These words they are the truth,
Not jsut to make you feel better,
Although i can offer you know proof,

Dear friend this letter must end now,
For i have said what i needed to say,
I am always here for you to talk to,
Whether the time be night or day.

What Reason Then

Blessed are the days we live
Bless the love we have to give
For if we had no love to give
What reason then have we to live

Blessed are the friends we make
Bless the joy from them we take
For if there were no joy to take
What reason then for friends to make

A giving heart is what we share
With those for whom we really care
But if we really didn’t care
What reason then our hearts to share

Rejoice when good friends come your way
Give blessings to that special day
But if your life they weren’t part
We wouldn’t bless what they impart

Into a box of friendship
To insure that it is strong
First a layer of respect
On the bottom does belong
Then to the sides attach
In the corners where they meet
Several anchors full of trust
Devoid of all deceit
The height of friendship can be measured
By the sides of four
So make them all a larger cut
And the box will hold much more
Now fill it up with courtesy
Honor and esteem
Understanding, sympathy
And passion for a dream
Add to that your honesty
Emotions joy and love
And since they’re so important
Place them up above
But leave the box wide open
So all can see inside
To learn what makes a friendship work
From the box you built with pride

There once was a boy
who felt all alone
he had no friends
not even a loving home

he wanted to laugh
he wanted to play
just not by himself
like he did everyday

nobody would talk to him
they would sit and stare
making jokes
being unaware

little did they know he was all alone
wishing his life away
when one day he gave up
and thought that there was only one way

he died all alone in his bed
he took his own life
its sad to say
he used a knife

when finally they found him
leaving behind
a note that said
friendship is blind

if only one person would have known
or even tried
to see the nice boy who he was
he would not have died

if one single person
would have showed they cared
he would be alive now
he wouldn't of been scared

whenever something happens good
its never left to be
something bad must change it fast
nothing good is meant for me

Best Friend is not in the dictionary
its a word with out a description
i guess that means its something good
me having one would be a confliction

just recently i thought i got lucky
my luck had started to transpose
i met a best friend who i can trust
i think wow i'm Lucky! now who knows?

a few months went by
and i had a true best friend
i had the most fun ever w/ him
that i never wanted it to end

but now lately i feel shaken
i feel like i'm gonna lose
the best thing that ever happened to me
and its giving me the blues

i can't aford to lose him now
who knows what i can do
he was the bestest friend i ever had
and i hope he knows that too

Whenever i was feeling down
he'd always help me out
and i always did the same for him
to get rid of that pout

he'd write me little letters
just to show he cared
i wrote him back just the same
to lose his care i'm scared

there is so much more i can write
but i'm gonna start to tear
this is not gonna be a good end
to the very bestest year

so before our friendship starts to fade
and you love me less and less
don't worry if i fall apart
and my life becomes a mess

don't blame yourself for a minute
cuz you weren't there til the end
i guess i just can't handle life

When the world is looking bad and hard to face,
And the only thing you can think is "What's happening to this place?"
When nothing seems to go your way,
When no one will listen to a word you say,
When the world is spinning but you're standing still,
And you seem to be the only one who doesn't want to "just chill."
When the walls start closing in on you.
When you feel there's nothing you can do.
When the pressure gets to be too great.
And you start to wonder if you can change your fate,
Just turn around and look to a friend.
Broken bones and hearts they can mend.
They can help you through the bad and share the good,
And tell you you can when you didn't think you could.
They will hold your hand and lead you through.
They will laugh with you and cry with you too.
They will give you a hug just because they feel like it,
And when everyone else does they will not quit.
So when the world has got you down and you feels there's o way out,
And the only thing you can do is lift your head and shout,
Just turn around and you will be surprised to see,
The friend that will be there for you is none other than me.

Always beside you through think and thin

When things are not going so well

A friend is there to take your burdens
To make your life easier to handle
No matter what the situation may be
Or what is going on in thier life

A friend is there when you get let down
Or when all you seem to do is frown
A friend is someone who will always be by your side
No matter how many times life lets you down

A friend won't.

You may feel like you have been walked on
Maybe even drug into the ground
But when you have a friend
It all seems so much easier to cope.

So next time you think life is so bad
Look around, someone, somewhere
Has it worse off than you
Someone, somewhere, don't have
Someone to talk to or someone to hold

If you see someone walking by
That may need to smile
Or just someone to say Hi
Take a minute and say hello
You will be suprised how
some people will glow

No matter what you have
Been through or what life brings
Everyone needs a friend
A real friend, someone who will
Be there all the time, not just sometimes

That someone may be as close
As your own front door
Or at work, school, lunch
Who knows maybe even in the store

No matter what you do
Or how you do it.
Take each day as a gift
And make an effort to let others know you care

My New Best Friend

Today I met a great new friend,
Who knew me right away!
It was funny how she understood,
All I had to say!

She listened to my problems,
She listened to my dreams!
We talked about love and life,
She'd been there, too, it seemed!

I never once felt judged by her,
She knew just how I felt!
She seemed to just accept me,
And all the problems I'd been dealt!

She didn't intererupt me,
But soothed all my pain!
She just listened very patiently,

Moving On"

You say you want to be friends
and that you still care,
But when I talk to you, it seems
like you're not really there.

You say words, but that's
all that they are;
there's no feeling behind them, it's almost
as if they're said from afar.

I just don't get it -
what did I ever do to you?
I just can't believe it, I
thought I was your Boo.

I gave you all I had to give -
even my most prized possession.
And all you gave me in the end was
this pain to which I'm confessin'.

"Is love only for fools?"
I constantly ask myself.
Then why is it every girl's dream to have the storybook
romance they've seen stowed away in their shelf?

Could he have been my once Prince Charming?
I used to believe it that he was my fate,
But now I thank God that I discovered there
are many more out there before it was too late.

And yet, until I meet that
one true soul match,
I'll walk along this twisted path, wearily
waiting for a new love to hatch.

Why is it when your all alone, everyone is there.
And when you really need a friend, a moment they can't spare.
An example was the other week, before I lost my Dave.
I just sat trying to capture all the moments to save.

He left me all alone with no where else to go.

changes of a Friendship

You used to be my very best friend .
So much that I thought it would never end .

Secrets we had few .
I thought it would last forever, I know you did too .

We had fights, but they didn't last long,
and each one made our friendship more lasting and
strong .

I'll never really admit it but, I guess we grew apart .
You always did the stupid things and I always had to be smart .

It seems to me that everything started when you moved away
As" best friend " was no longer a word for us I knew things would never be the
okay .

You also suffered a great loss and, I cried so much for
you .
Your mother was your whole life . I heard you cry, but I didn't know what to
do .

You got involved with the wrong crowd .
You started doing and using things you weren't allowed .

I knew that you would change some day,
but never in my mind did I think it would be in this way .

Changes

"Friends forever," you promised.
"Together till the end."
We did everything with eachother,
You were my best friend.

When I was sad, you were by my side,
When I was scared, you felt my fear.
You were my best support-----

You made everything seem better.
As long as we had eachother,

My best friend, she’s really cool,
