WEDDING DAY
Today Im getting married,
My stomach does nothing but turn.
Ive waited for this day for ages.
Love for him, I yearn.
Spending hours looking beautiful,
Time flying by so fast.
Getting ready for the church,
Arriving there the last.
Butterflies flying round,
My belly and my head,
Making sure I look OK
Before down the isle I wed.
He looks so handsome,
As he stands there
And as he says I do
I know we are the perfect pair.
After that its all a daze,
Until the honey-moon,
And as I fell asleep that night I thought,
Morning couldnt come too soon.

BEST MANS SPEECH
Ive known this man for ages,
I knew him when he was a lad,
I knew him when he was spotty,
And his hair- do was bad.
Ive seen him though brown flared trousers,
Through girlfriends, thin and fat.
Ive seen him drunk and soba.
Ive seen this kiss the cat.
Ive got baby pics Galore,
Ive picked him up, when he was down,
And hes helped me, I have to say,
Hes got rid of many a frown.
Glad youve took him off my hands,
You can wipe away his tears,
Hes finally found a good woman,
Ive been trying to get rid of him for years.
