A poem I wrote about a girl..
I hardly even know you
Yet I feel like I do.
I am a thousand miles away
But I would leave without delay
Simply to be around you.
I'll always remember, without further ado
Your ruby red hair
Which always caught my stare
And your beautiful smile
That made me feel blissful.
You though, as an individual
Is what to me is beautiful.
Nothing can surpass you,
Not even the hue
Of that incredible hair
Or the dazzling smile you wear.
Because although these things
can contribute to me liking
You, all that is really needed
And all that I am seeking
Is what makes you, you.

My Secret Spy
There lies the crescent moon,
amidst a sea blue sky.
It peeks around a dark black cloud,
then disappears behind.
It comes back into view again,
and with it's magic wink.
Tell's me how you're doing,
it tell's me what you think.
And as it descends afar,
and leaves me alone and blue.
I know now that you love me,
and yes I love you too...

Sailor's Song
The brilliant beacon on the hill,
lights the pathway for us still.
Cradling fears of troubled wills,
a ray of hope for shadows it kills.
I am an old sailor,
I smell the sea breeze.
The weather is fair or
the winds going to tease.
My boat she's my lady,
my maiden, my lamb.
She keeps my head steady
my heart and my hands.
To tell of the journey's,
the glory gone past.
the boat is my 'fugee,
the sea takes me fast.
A few love's I've had son,
a few ports I've flown.
And good time's - I've had some,
but works all I've known.
just trust me and ask,
see the line's on my mask?
I am weathered and torn,
years past I was born.
The year's go so fast,
So fast go the years.
You'll cry a million tears,
as the seas kiss your ears!
I am a sailor in love with a dream,
or is it a sailor in dream with a love?
Ill fear not the weather-
above flies a dove,
it's free in it's feather
it's free in it's love...

You said that you did care
And enticited me to speak
Of my own heart's affair
When I finally became bold
And spoke of feelings yet untold
Your own weak heart did grow quite cold
Then you did laugh, while I did weep
Next time you ask of me to speak
Silence is all that you shall reap
For now my heart I wish to keep

We dance the dance of the lover's tide,
our hearts in sync and you by my side,
our love was a myth, a legend for tomorrow,
with you I would feel no more sorrow,
but, from our love what would they learn,
only for your sweet touch I would yearn...
I know their not that good, but I love to write poetry, and I wanted to see if
I was any good. I have written many more, mostly about love. So if you could
tell me what you think.

the one i love is near
the one i love is far
the one i dream
is a drop in my life
why am i the one
always breaking through
still i feel you
i'm soaking in my life
i am happy
i am not
i am withered in this hot
and as i lay
i hear a hum
i can heal
and now i'm numb
the one i knew
i know no more
the one i felt
is nothing but a shadow
and in the distance
i can feel
but i'm still here
luling in the shadow
still i'm happy
hidden streams
locked away with all my screams
and as i lay
i hear a hum
i cant feel
because i'm numb
