3 seasons of love

We started it just for fun
but the first steps were easily done
It didn't took me long to fall in love
I was feeling like in heaven above

I enjoyed every second with you
and felt that our love was true
I was feeling like on cloud nine
and everything between us was fine

But the distance tore us apart
no chance to feel you is so hard
It failed although we did nothing wrong
and I hope that life somehow will go on

You tell me that you love him,
And this will always be so,
But friend,
If you love him then you have to let him go!

Things may have been pleasant,
When his love for you was strong,
But now that love is over,
To hold him back would be just wrong!

Think of him as a wounded bird,
Whom had fallen from the sky,
But now that bird has healed.,
And you have to let it fly,

Once upon a time,
He felt nice feelings for you,
But those feelings he feels no more,
And there's nothing you can do,

You have to be brave,
And set your healed bird free,
Because friend your bird,
has a whole new world to see,

I know that he loved you once,
But once was long ago,
Try not to take it personally,
It's very hard i know,

This bird will soon be a memory,
That you'll hold dear to your heart,
And this memory will dtay with you,
Until with life you part.

My Only Love

I never stopped loving you
for a second or even a moment.
I never breathed without you on my lips,
I never smiled without your face on my mind.
Every face I saw was yours..
Since you've gone, I've looked at no other,
your lips as soft as silk, are the only thing left on my lips.
Photos, are vague reminders of our love.
Your smile shows the love you once held for me.
Letters of yours I clutch tightly running my fingers over "I love you"
trying to smile as I remember how much I love you, but all I can do is cry.
I sit here and clutch the things you have given me,
things I should've thrown out, but that I couldn't bear to part with.
Your memories live on in my heart.
Hard to forget your face, your touch.
I sit here and try to remember what happened..
I take my feelings and shove them back in my heart until you are locked away.
I stare at the key in my hand,
and I throw the key away hoping for it to never be found.
Your love is something I'll never get again.

IT WASN'T SUPPOSED TO BE THIS WAY

It wasn't supposed to be this way.......
Thinking of you throughout the day

"Let's just have fun" - I kept insisting
"I don't need more - happy just existing"

You listened, you watched ....... then said to me
"I look far deeper than you can see"

You say you need more - you want to belong
How can you be sure......this may be all wrong

Both so frightened, don't want to be hurt
Playing games with words - we tease and we flirt

Scared to feel......to love..... even to care
Its all such a risk, such a step........ do we dare?

All those "little things" that mean oh so much
A gesture, a word, a thought or a touch

You stroke my hair - You touch my face
Everywhere we go becomes our "special" place

The way you feel my body - the way you hold me tight
We're so very different - yet it all feels so right

There's far more to "this" than I originally thought
I want to start running - but then.......want to be caught

It was supposed to be simple - "uncomplicated fun"
Now I lay awake wondering - what have we done?

It wasn't supposed to be this way.......

Reap What You Sow

I met you thru a machine,
From then on it was you that i fiend,
We started as a little fling,
You sunk into my heart and boy did it sting,
Before i met you i was open for anything,
I would get kicked in the ground for trying to flirt,
I would let it go cause only you could make me hurt,
They all told me that i was getting played,
But i knew deep inside that your feelings would fade,
Not telling the difference from friend and foe
I should of known that I'll weep what i sow
So i did something i never have for somebody,
I bought tickets to her heart, but it backfired on me,
Days later the words came that would kill any human being,
The words were soft but clear,
I think we should be friends, there is some one else that I'm seeing,
In a way they were spoken and in a way they were not,
All the memories of me and you were thrown from me and never To be caught,
All the sweetness and all the kindness i had left,
Was taken from my heart as a ruthless theft,
The only way to predict the inevitable,
Is to invent the future,
I thought it would be my hearts only cure,
I tried to make you feel for me as i do for you
But i don't deserve your love if its not there for me to step into

I offered my heart,
but he offered his bed,
I acted smart, and refused instead.
I loved him so, but he hurt me bad,
although the hurt was from long ago,
The pain still makes me sad.
I tried to make it work, but all he thought about was sex.
In the beginning, it was a joke, but later on, I wondered, "what next"?
Because he seriously wasn't joking, I started to get scared.
he wanted something I didn't want shared.
We shared some laughs, but not enough tears,
For inplace of sadness, there stood only fear.
But now we are apart, and we now never take the time to say,
all the things that contributed to our relationship today.

A Sinning Thief

Promises held,
I'm the sinning thief,
Sick I am of all this grief,
this pain I fell is not my own
But a special angels

who's heart I've broke,
I said I loved her,

my words were true,
but still somehow I've made her blue,
her eyes don't show,

I pushed her on,
she began to run.
