Best Ending:
Get a COOL, {finish the level with a cool rating}, on every level and you get a new level were you watch Sunny Funny and Katy Kat dance on a table. You can change the view with the D-pad, zoom in and out with R1 and L1, and change Sunnys' and Katys' clothes with the X and Triangle buttons.

PARASITE EVE

Infinite Bullets
In the NYPD go downstair and enter the left door. You can find the bullets in the box near the counter get it and go out to the New York map. Now return to that room for more bullets. Repeat as needed.

The Missing Building
After you win you'll be asked if you wish to save. Do so, then reinsert CD #1 and choose the EX game. You'll now see the Chrysler Building on the Manhattan map. Go inside and make your way to the top to see the real enemy and ending.

Extra Gun:
Collect 300 pieces of junk you could have the guy at the police station make you a gun.

PERFECT WEAPON

Invincibility:
Pause game play, then press Circle + Square + Right, Left + R1 + R2. An explosion will confirm correct code entry.

Play as Cyborg Blake:
Pause game play, then press R1 + R2 + Triangle + Circle. The phrase "No Way!" will be spoken to confirm correct

Track Tips
Try out these nifty short cuts:

USA -- Drain
After the first left corner, look out for a car park on the right. Occasionally there is a white truck there which means the Drain short cut is open. When roughly level with the truck, take a sharp left through the gate in the wire fence -- try to avoid the water as it will slow you down. The exit is by the railway station.

Japan -- Temple
Hit the first basket on the left side of the course (look closely, there should be an IO logo on it). Just past the starting grid, the Temple Gate short cut will now be open.

Alpine -- Village
On the first lap, the gates are closed.When you reach the base of the track on the second lap, you will see a snowplough. The snowdrift to left is blocked by some cones: knock these down and the
plough will clear the drift, opening the doors on the next lap.

Rapid Racer
You have to input the passwords on the name selection screen in one-player mode before they become available in the other game modes. NB For all passwords, '_' equals an empty space. Extra Boats _BOA Makes all the hidden boats selectable. Duck Mode _QAK This turns all the boats into giant plastic ducks with engines! Hurricane HURR Gives you control of The Hurricane, a high-speed vessel that corners like it's on rails.It's got a horrible yellow paint job, though. Unlock Day Tracks _DAY Unlock Night Tracks _NIT Unlock Mirrored Tracks RRIM Random Track Generator FRAC Win Race WINR Quit the race you are playing to be awarded first place. Porsche Mode BXTR This enables the Porsche cheat, but it only works if you load in a Rapid Racer saved game from a memory card that also contains a Porsche Challenge saved game.

Hidden character
Start the game with Team Battle Mode.
At the character select screen, press

Sparrow(secret character):
At the Title Screen where it says press start press o, right, triangle, up,

select, you should hear a bell ring to indicate that you got him(you do not press
this too fast or too slow and it's guaranteed to work).After you hear the bell go
to the character select screen and press select on commandant's name. You
will then get the 1st secret character!

Gorgon(The Announcer): At the Title Screen where it says press start
press L1, L1, L2, R2, R2, R1, Triangle, down, x, up, then select. You should
hear a bell to indicate that you got him(you do not press this too fast or too
slow and it's guaranteed to work).After you hear the bell go to the character
select screen and press select on agent orange's name. You will then get the
2nd secret character!

PROJECT OVERKILL

Cloaking Device:
To clock yourself while playing, hold Triangle and press Square, Circle, Circle, Square. Release Triangle, then hold X and press Triangle, Triangle. Release X.

Maximum Health:
Highlight "REVIEW MISSION", hold SQUARE, and press CIRCLE, X, TRIANGLE. Release SQUARE, hold CIRCLE, and press SQUARE, X, TRIANGLE. The word "Cheater" should appear at the top of your screen.

Secret Level:
In the Throg Breeding Facility you'll find a secret entrance to the "Lost City". Look for it in the lower right-hand corner of the map. You'll need to break through three or four secret doors to find this exit, but it's well worth it.

Speed Up:
For a burst of speed while playing, hold Up and press Triangle, Triangle, Triangle. Release Up then hold Down and press X, Square, Circle. Release Down.

PROJECT: HORNED OWL

Power Shots:
During play, you can charge your gun to fire a huge blast of fire power. Just hold the shot button and your ammo display at the bottom of the screen should turn red. Release the button for massive fire power. Beware, as the power shot drain up to 10 bullets at a time so you will need to reload soon afterward.

Secret Options:
All you have to do is finish the game on the very hard setting. Use the six continues tip to help you getting through the game. Then go to the Controls panel and four more options will have appeared.

Polygon Test:
Let you see different enemies from the game. You can rotate and scale them using the buttons.

Mission Select:
You can choose to begin at any mission of the game. Remember that you can't play the third, fourth and fifth mission on the easy setting.

Movie Test:
Now you can watch all the great movies of the game.

Audio Test:
Listen to the sound effects and background music of the game. As well as the (I think) japanese voice effects of the game. Because at one point in the voice effect, the name of the two police officers are Ryo Kurotu and Marco Antneli which are the names of the two police officers in the japanese version.

Six Continues in one Player Mode:
Normally when you play the one player mode, you only have a maximum of three continues. All you have to do is begin a one player game and just before you die, (after you've used up your three initial continues) press START on the second controller, or use the light gun to play as the second player. This way you have three more continues to play the rest of the game. Take the second controller and let the first player be game over.

Training Room Tip:
Remember where the robots appears in the training room. It's always in the same pattern, so try to learn it and shoot for a perfect score (200 points.) It's not easy but it can be done.
