1. The "PROFESSOR'S NIGHTMARE" is sold under several names, but is basically the same trick. Three unequal (long, medium and short) length ropes are held in the left hand with the ends event at the top. The magician then brings the lower ends up to meet the upper ends making three seperate loops. The magic spell is cast and the opposite ends are pulled apart revealing that the three ropes are now equal in length. The ropes are then counted out one by one to show that the magic has really happened. The ropes are then draped over one hand and presto, they are unequal again. I can also show you an additional routine (for free)which allows the magician to restore the ropes to unequal lengths by tying the equal pieces end to end and sliding one knot. Only......... $5.75
2. The "CUT AND RESTORED ROPE TRICK" is a classic of magic that is not very difficult to do and can be improved further according to the skill of the magician's presentation.
As expected, a rope that is cut into two pieces has it's two ends tied together to make one rope. Then the magic happens to remove the knot and make the two pieces one again. $6.50
3. "20th Century Silks" - This is an excellent trick which lends itself to many scenarios so that you can customize your presentation to almost any subject matter whereby something disappears and is mysteriously restored. More specifically, two 18" silks of the same color are shown. Then an 18" silk of a differnt color is shown. The odd color silk is vanished or destroyed by any means that you like which suits your needs. A change bag is the most direct way to accomplish this vanish although a pull is just as effective and less elaborate. It just depends on what best supports your story line. Next you reintroduce the two silks of the same color and tie one corner of each together. These are then bunched into a ball and placed into an empty paper bag or some other innocent container (or even just held in your left fist in plain view). You then pull out one corner of one silk. Continue pulling it out of the bunched up silks and as you get to the end cornor of the first silk the odd colored silk is produced as it trails behind the first silk. Finally the third silk trails the previously vanished silk to reveal that the vanished silk is now tied between the two same colored silks. This excellent trick sells for either $23.50 or $19.50 depending on the quality of silks that you prefer.
4. "CELLOPHANE" - This trick uses a regular deck of bicycle cards. The magician writes the name of the card to be selected by the spectator on the opened cellophane wrapper of the card box and the spectator signs the other side of the cellophane wrapper. The cards are then taken out of the box and one is selected by the spectator. Oh my, it does not match what was written on the cellophane. But wait a minute.... When the empty box is lifted up again to show what was written on the wrapper, it clearly has the value and suit of the selected card on it. This one could be your reputation maker. Only $24.50
5. SPECIAL DECKS OF CARDS AND BOOKS ON TRICKS WITH A REGULAR DECK OF CARDS.
- SVENJALI DECK: The basic effect is that a seemingly normal deck of cards turns to a deck of only one type of card (mainly the card chosen by the spectator).
- TAPER (STRIPPER) DECK: A variety of manipulations are available since the magician is able to make one card in the deck unique for location at any point in the routine. Basically though a card (one or more) is selected by a spectator. The cards are returned to the deck by the specator after which the cards are openly shuffled. The magician then holds the deck behinds his back and almost instantly produces the chosen card(s) in one hand and the deck in the other. $5.00 "Magic Cards" brand, $8.50 "Empire" brand, and $10.00 "Bicycle" brand.
- BLANK DECK: A deck of cards is shown to consist of different cards when displayed. The spectator chooses a card which is held protruding from the deck about 1/16 of an inch. The magician then causes all but the chosen card to turn blank. Both sides of the deck are shown to be blank. Then the magician restores the deck to its normal condition.

- INVISIBLE DECK: This deck can be used with many routines, but the basic routine is as follows. The spectator is given an invisible (nonexistant) deck to shuffle and choose a card from. The invisble deck is then returned to the magician who puts it into his pocket and pulls out a visible deck for all to see. The spectator is asked what the chosen card was and when the now visible deck is opened the chosen card is the only face down card in the deck and has a different colored back than the rest. $10.00
- INVISIBLE QUARTERS DECK: This is a coin trick, but the deck does all the work. A deck of cards is spread and then shuffled Hindu style (no slight of hand). The deck is then squarded up into the magician's left palm and a 4 ounce clear glass tumbler is placed mouth down on top of the deck. The magician them proceeds to pull an invisble quarter out of the air and force it through the up-turned bottom of the glass as it instantaniously appears on top of the deck under the glass. The quarter is then removed from the top of the deck and placed onto the table. This is then repeated again with a second quarter. This is a mind blower. $22.50
- VERA'S DECK (COLOR CHANGING DECK): This is a well made deck of Hoyle cards which are shown to all have blue backs. The deck is then turned face up and any card is selected by the spectator (truely a free choice). It is stated that one of the cards in the deck is marked on the back. The spectator's card is turned over and it's back is seen to be yellow. Next the yellow card is placed on top of the deck and shown to have changed all the backs of the other cards to yellow until the yellow card is removed to leave the original cards blue again. For a finale, the deck is agian turned face up and the bottom blue back card is shown both sides and placed face up on the face up deck. Then the previously selected yellow backed card is placed face up on top of the blue backed one. The cards are mixed and the spectator is asked what color is made when blue and yellow are mixed. Green of course. The deck is then turned over to show by spreading it that all the card backs have turned to green. $20.00
This is a very nice visual effect. The trick deck can then be switched off for a regular Hoyle green backed deck ($7.00) and any other card tricks you like can be done as a follow up. Very entertianing crowd pleaser....!
6. "SCOTCH AND SODA" coins are a magic classic from which many routines are possible. The basic routine is where the magician shows one copper coin and one silver coin. Both are put into the spectator's hand which is then closed. He/she is told to put both hands behind their back and to seperate the coins so one is in each hand. The magician then tells the spectator to bring both closed hands to the front. The spectator is then challenged by the magician by betting a scotch and soda (or Coke if more appropriate for the occasion) that the spectator can not show the copper coin. Upon opening either or both hands, the coins are both seen to be silver. The magician always wins a free drink! Scotch and soda coin sets are $25.50

7. The "PEN THROUGH ANYTHING" is one of the better tricks of its kind available. A normal looking pen is shown by the magician and a dollar bill (it could be a coin or any other similar type of object). The magician pokes the pen through the bill and can then hold the bill horizontal by both ends leaving the pen vertical and visible going into the topside of the bill and out of the bottom. The magician can then hold the pen by the top and move it to one end of the bill without tearing the bill. The pen may then be removed from the bill by pulling the pen to one side and off of the bill. The bill can be handed out for inspection and,if you like, the pen also.

8. DOTS IMPOSSIBLE- Spectator chooses one card from a fan of six. It is put face down on the table and the other five cards are shown to have either all red or all blue dots on their faces. The spectator's card is then turned over and shown to be the opposite color of the other five cards. The trick may be immediately repeated and it doesn't matter whether the spectator chooses the red or blue dot card. Nice trick for only $4.50
9. MY FAVORITE KING- An envelope with four cards inside is shown. The spectator is asked to name their favorite king's suit. You explain that you expected them to say whatever suit they named and open the envelope to show the spectator that his named suit is the only one face up of the four kings. $3.50
ESP (extra sensory perception) - The spectator points to one of three cards with ESP symbols on them. You show them that you had predicted which card they would choose by revealing where you had recorded it in advance. $3.50
