Before you try to get pregnant, make sure to see your physician or other health care professional for a thorough examination to rule out any potential problems. Certain health conditions can affect your fertility or pregnancy, such as menstrual problems, endometriosis, a history of pelvic infections, high stress levels, eating disorders, age, medications, and smoking.
To maximize your chances of conception, it's important to determine your monthly ovulation (when the ovary releases an egg). This can be done in a number of ways:
By charting your menstrual calendar (ovulation occurs at the midway point between periods)
Checking cervical mucus
Recording basal body temperature (your morning wakeup temperature)
Commercially available urine tests
Your physician or other health care professional can help you determine what will work best for you.
Due date Caculate:
1.Enter the first day of your last period(LMP). If you don't know the exact date, calculate as close as possible. The calculator will show you your estimated date of ovulation and the expected due date of your baby.
2.Due date: month=the month of LMP+9,Date=the date of LMP+5.
or:month=month of LMP-3,if the month of your LMP was >9.
for example: your first date of your last period was 01/01/99,your due date will be Month=01+9=10,date=01+5=06,10/06/99.
If your first date of LMP was 12/29/98,your due date will be month=12-3=9, date=29+5=34, 09/34? It's 10/03.
3.Probable date of ovulation:about two weeks after your first date of LMP.
so if you want a baby born on 01/01/2000. the most probable date of ovulation is:month=01+3,date=01-5+14,It's 04/09/99.
Keep in mind that this is an estimate based on your last menstrual period and estimated date of conception. Always consult your physician or other health care professional concerning your due date.
