SailorMoon Episode Guide (Season 1):
1) A Moon Star Is Born: A girl named Serena is proclaimed to be Sailor Moon by Luna the cat. She is late for school one day and sees a group of grade school boys messing around with Luna's forehead. Serena cannot believe that she is the one needed to defeat the NegaVerse! Queen Beryl, the NegaForce, and Jadeite are soon introduced. Jadeite begins to drain energy via Molly's mom's jewelry store. The youma is defeated, with the help of a mysterious hero named Tuxedo Mask. Jadeite escapes, but is angry at losing the enrgy he collected.
2) In The Cards (Oshiokiyo! Uranai House Ha Youma no Yakata): Cut from the DiC dub; Serena visits a fortune teller's house (that is taken over by Jadeite's youma)! All visitors to the fortune teller are hypnotized into stealing energy for Jadeite and the NegaVerse. One stand-out scene in when Miss Haruna is going over a lesson in class and tells Melvin to pay attention. While she has her back turned, Melvin lifts up and look under her skirt!!! o^_^o!
3) Talk Radio: Jadeite hosts an imaginary love show on the raido where the prize recipiants get their love energy sucked away by flowers! Serena uses the Disguise Pen to enter Jadeite's fony radio station and blow its cover.
4) Punk Rock Love (Mamore Koino Melody! Usagi Ha Cupid): Cut from the DiC dub; A cool rock star from Japan rocks and swoons the many people of Juuban with his artful songs and ballads of love. All of that changes when Jadeite decides to use that to his advantage and steal some more emotional energy. Serena wants to help the rock star out (who is in a love slum of his own) and decided to play "Cupid" for a day (if you know what I mean ^_^)!
5) Feline Phobia (Youma no Kaori! Shaneera Ha Aiwo Nusumu): Cut from the DiC dub: Jadeite makes another attempt at stealing energy and has his youma use what is called a Shaneera Pet to steal humans' energy. Jadeite fails, with Beryl losing her patience slowly.
6) Slim City: A new fitness trend captivates the citizens of Juuban (founded by Jadeite)! Serena, who thinks she is fat, tries out the new fitness site and soon discovers (thanks to the spying of Luna when Miss Haruna got her energy drained) that this health center is really Jadeite's evil scheme. Moon Tiara Action/Magic saves the day, as Sailor Moon defeats another youma.
7) So You Want To Be A Superstar: Serena and Molly enter a contest sponsored by a Jadeite youma-possessed celebrity (Saffron). Jealousy and rivalry enter in, and Serena and Molly split up, with Melvin karaoke-ing in Serena's place and serena wanting to have Luna do a "sing and dance routine" (^_^). Serena soon finds out what the evil plot is and returns Saffron to her normal state of being.
8) Computer School Blues: Amy, a new girl in town, is thought to be a youma from the NegaVerse when she enters Juuban Junior High School (Crossroads Middle School). Lots of other rumors are floating around about her as well (thanks to Melvin), like how she came from a "brain farm" (an academically high-level school) and how stuck-up she is (which she really isn't). Later on, when Serena gets a chance to know amy a little better, when rushing to her computer school (cram school for high school entrance exams in the Japanese version), Amy drops her computer disk and Serena goes to the school to give it back to her (only to find that a youma, NOT AMY, is attacking all of the students)! Luna soon realizes who Amy really is (when the sign for the planet, Mercury, shows up on her forehead) and gives Amy the henshin pin to transform into Sailor Mercury!
9) Time Bomb: Jadeite manipulates the power of time by turning everyone's clocks ahead, making them put out more energy for him to steal. This totally proves that evil is at work because Serena actually gets things done in this episode (not counting eating and sleeping ^_^) and is actually EARLY to school, for a change!
10) An Uncharmed Life: A girl named Raye defends the honor of her temple (Cherry Hill/Hikawa Jinja Shrine) from accusations of charm buyers being kidnapped (mysteriously at the same time busses would come to pick them up). One thing leads to another and Jadeite ends up working at the temple for a short period of time before Raye discovers his true and evil intentions. Jadeite gets anrgy and sends Raye off into another dimension. Meanwhile, Serena and Luna are kidnapped (by the youma busdriver responsible for the kidnappings from earlier) and sent to the same dimension as Raye is. When the symbol of the planet, Mars, appears on Raye's forehead, Luna tells her to use the Mars henshin pin and call out "Mars Power"! After the youma is destroyed, the portal back home begins to close, but thanks to the love Amy has for her friends, that power keeps the portal open long enough for Tuxedo Mask to come to the rescue and drive the 2 Sailors back home.
11) Nightmare in Dreamland: Serena, Amy, Raye, and Luna continue to investigate their enemy by going to a nwe, suspicious-looking theme park. Sailor Moon (and Sailor Mars) are easily "dooped" by Jadeite's youma's many immusions 9but end up coming out on top and saving the day).
12) Cruise Blues: Raye controversially wins 2 tickets for a cruise (thanks to her ESP abilities), but decides to take Amy along instead of Serena! With the aid of Titus, a lone time NegaVerse ally (and powerful one), Jadeite is able to turn the cruise into his best energy capturing idea yet! However, the Sailor Senshi come out on top and the boat dematerializes, with everyone on board safe and sound in the end.
13) Fight to the Finish: With Queen Beryl on wits end and no patience left whatsoever, Jadeite challenges the 3 Inner Senshi to a final battle at Juuban Airport. He loses, but gains the knowledge of the Senshi's identities. When Jadeite returns to Queen Beryl and is about to reveal what he had just learned, before he can get a word in edgewise, Beryl gets annoyed beyond belief with Jadeite's many failures and seals him in a crystal, killing him.
14) Match Point For Sailor Moon: Beryl appoints Nephlyte to take Jadeite's place. He cites Jadeite's mistake as taking too many people at one time to steal energy. He predicted that because humans were lead by the actions ofthe stars, when at their fullest potential, he could steal a great deal more energy from them than Jadeite ever could have. Molly's friend is possessed by Nephlyte's (aka Maxfield Stanton) powers during a tennis match (by the placement of a NegaVerse seal on the racket handle). Nephlyte is defeated (and so is his youma).
15) An Unnatural Phenomenon: While Serena gets upset and unhappy with Raye, Raye goes out on her first date with darien, then "man of her dreams"! All the while, Serena (and Luna ^_^) are spying on Raye's every move, SM style, of course. Nephlyte makes another victim feel his wrath, but ends up failing.
16) Wedding Day Blues: Nephlyte's evil influence causes a couple's upcoming marriage to be on the rocks. The silk used to make the bride's dress causes her to act very mean towards her fiance and all those who are looking out for her.
17) Shutter Bugged: A famous photographer (who is invited to do a promotional type thing for Raye's private school) is possessed ny Nephlyte's evil influence (when Maxfield Stanton "saves" him from going off of the cliff of one of his landscapes he was taking a picture of). Taking pictures now becomes very deadly: the object becomes the photograph! Sailor Moon and the other 2 senshi are able to triumph once again, however.
18) Dangerous Dollies: A young doll maker (named Mika) falls prey to Nephlyte's evil powers. Sammy tries to show how much he likes her (and how sorry he is for beraking one of her previous cerations that she made for him) by making a Sailor moon statuette (the irony of it all ^_^)! Love triumphs, via Sailors Moon, Mars, and Mercury.
19) Who Is That Masked Man: Nephlyte disguises himself as Tuxedo Mask ans sends invites to all the females in Crossroads to meet him at a nearby mall. Molly is one of his victims, inspiring Nephlyte that love energy given off by humans IS useful and quite a very powerful element to his evil scheme.
20) Haunted Hotel (Natsuyo Umiyo Seishunyo! Omakeni Yuureimayo): Cut from the DiC dub; Serena, Amy, and Raye take a trip to the beach (haunted by Nephlyte's ghost youma)!
21) An Animated Mess: 2 best friends are almost split apart when Nephlyte grants one of them with awesome artistic abilities,but with a price. Every time that girl would use her pencil to draw (which was how Nephlyte got to her in the first place). it would fuel the energy needed to bring to life the Gemini Warriors, trained by Nephlyte himself to destroy the Senshi! Friendship shines through and the Senshi bring back together the 2 girls.
22) Worth A Princess' Ransom: A visiting princess owns a crystal that everyone thinks is the Silver Crystal. However, things aren't always as they seem. Serena's dad is assigned to take photographs of the princesses party and Serena wants to go, but instead decides to sneak her way in (^_^). Nephlyte possesses the princess and has her give him the crystal, which is found out to be a fake. Sailor Power defeats him again as Nephlyte is subject to more of Zoisite's put-downs and brash remarks.
23) Molly's Folly: The rivalry between generals Nephlyte and Zoisite intensifies. Once again, Nephlyte manipulates Molly's feelings for him (as Maxfield) to his advantage, but is thwarted in his attempts by the Sailor Soldiers once again.
24) A Friend In Wolf's Clothing: Nephlyte uses Molly as bait for Sailor moon to reveal who she really is (as a true human). However, Nephlyte's main goal switches from that to saving Molly's life and keeping the Dark Homing Crystal from Zoisite. Zoisite dispatches he group of 4 NegaVerse female warriors to destroy Nephlye and Molly. In defense for Molly's own life, Nephlye takes a lethal blow (meant for Molly) and and Zoisite takes the Homing Crystal, leaving him to die in Molly's arms. The Senshi stand around in complete sadness.
25) Jupiter Comes Thundering In: Lita, a girl with a rather violent record as of late, enrolls in Juuban Junior High school. She later turns out to be Sailor Jupiter, when she is witness to Zoisite's taking of a Rainbow Crystal from Gamemaster Joe, on of Lita's new acquaintances.
26) The Power of Friendship: Molly, heartbroken over the death of Nephlyte, is comforted by a caring Serena. The priest that Molly seeks answers from (concerning why Nephlyte had to die) is Zoisite's next Rainbow Crystal target! Zoisite fails in obtaining the Crystal and returns back to the NegaVerse with a scolding from Beryl.
27) Mercury's Mental Match: A boy named Greg makes a bis splash in Juuban academics (and he also has a crush on amy)! Because of his ability to forsee the future, he knows that he is Zoisite's next Rainbow Crystal Carrier target!
28) An Artful Attack: Serena and Darien provide a useful inspriation to an area artist, "Lani Lenai" (who is known as Peggy Jones, in reality). Lani ends up becoming just another victim of Zoisite's (and also one of the strongest Shadow Warriors enountered).
29) Too Many Girlfriends: Serena and Lita fall for Andrew! Andrew finds out that his girlfriend, Rita, is leaving for Africa on an archaeological study and ponders about how long their relationship will last. Unfortunately for Rita, she falls prey to Zoisite's Rainbow Crystal hunt.
30) Grandpa's Follies: Raye's grandfather's strange behavior leads her to believe that he is too old to carry out the duties of the Cherry Hill Temple on his own. Zoisite figures him out to be another Crystal Carrier! Through Sailor Mars' love and devotion for her grandfather, he is saved from certain doom.
31) Kitty Chaos: An heroic, overweight cat (named Rhett Butler) comes to rescue Luna from the dangers of other viscious alley, stray cats in Juuban. Zoisite trecks through sewers and mice to track down that very same cat for his Rainbow Crystal!
32) Tuxedo Melvin: To impress his NEW love, Molly, Melvin decides to dress up (and act as though he was) Tuxedo Mask! In the youma (of Zoisite's that attacks later and is defeated by the Sailor Senshi), "Tuxedo Melvin" throws spiced pieces of shrimp at the youma (in an attempt to "vanquish" it under his "awesome power" ^_^).
33) Sailor V Makes The Scene: Zoisite and Malachite devise a plan to lure Tuxedo Mask into a situation where he'd be forced to give up his share of the Rainbow Crystals. Just as the Inner Senshi are about to be killed (by Malachite's shrinking forcefield), Sailor Venus comes and saves the day!
34) A Crystal Clear Destiny: Zoisite challenges Darien to a final battle: winner takes all of the Rainbow Crystals! She lets her emotions of revenge go to her head (which lead to eventual failure and demies in the next episode). The tear of Sailor Moon (from Tuxedo Mask's lethal disposition) unites the Rainbow Crystals (which then form the silver Crystal). Sailor Moon is then morphed into her Princess Serena form!
35) A Reluctant Princess: Tuxedo mask is kidnapped by the NegaVerse and Zoisite is killed by Queen Beryl for not following strict orders. Malachite swears to Beryl that he'll get the Silver Crystal, while at the same time vowing to a dead Zoisite that he'll avenge her death.
36) Bad Hair Day: Malachite is on the hunt for the person who is Sailor Moon, holder of the Silver Crystal. He and his youma take over a hair dressers shop (which turns out to be a rather big mistake). When evil Tuxedo Mask appears to the Senshi, fighting for the NegaVerse, the Senshi are put back at "square one" with thoughts as to what the NegaVerse is capable of doing next!
37) Little Miss Manners: At the advice of Luna and her own initiative, Serena (along with Raye, Amy, Lita, and Mina) enroll themselves in a school of manners. Serena's frisbee throwing abilities cause suspicions to arise within Malachite!
38) Ski Bunny Blues: Malachite has a youma posses a very accomplished female skier and constructs a skiing competition to see who the REAL Moon Princess is. Is skiing the key to Moon Power?
39) Ice Princess: The 5 Inner Senshi go to the ice skating rink (where Lita falls in love with a popular skater, youma-possessed to find the Moon Princess for Malachite).
40) Last Resort: Serena's family goes on a vacation to a spa, where the evil Prince Darien summons an ancient, jealous spirit from a lake nearby (which is beyond his control)! Serena's Moon Locket reminds her of how things between she and Darien used to be.
41) Tuxedo Unmasked: Greg returns! Amy admits her love for him! Sailor Mercury is forced to fight against evil Prince Darien for Greg's protection (at a theme park in Juuban).
42) Venus Revelations (Sailor Venus no Kako! Minako no Hiren): Not shown in the DiC dub; a rare episode where the past of Sailor Venus' past is revealed (from her crime-fighting days in England to her "tragic love" that made her move on with her Senshi duties).
43) Fractious Friends: The 5 Inner Senshi stage a trick of deception to fight with each other and kick Sailor Moon out of the group. Then, the NegaVerse would want to take Sailor Mono back with them (which would, in turn, give Sailor Mercury enough time to compute how to get to the NegaVerse's HQ).
44) The Past Returns: Malachite gets fed up with his repeated setbacks and challenges the 5 Inners to a battle close to Earth's northern latitudes. Sailor Moon's wand (and Malachite) reveal to the Senshi just what the Moon Kingdom was about and what the NegaVerse's true ambitions were. A reflected projectile at Malachite causes him to die, with thoughts of Zoisite still on his mind.
45) Day of Destiny (Part 1): The Senshi and guardian cats decide it is time to stop the NegaVerse for good this time. So the senshi transport themselves to the North pole in search of Queen Beryl. But the Doom and Gloom Girls prove to be quite an obstacle in their paths.
46) Day of Destiny (Part 2): By now, Sailor Moon is the only Senshi left against Beryl (because the Doom and Gloom Girls killed each of the other Senshi before). Moon meets up with Beryl and the evil Prince Darien. A revived Prince Darien (thanks to the Moon Locket) kills beryl and Metallia takes over (in Beryl's body)! All of the Senshi unite their powers and vanquish the NegaVerse for good!!!
