The NegaMoon(Dark Moon/BlackMoon Clan) Saga (Page 2):
With the failure of Rubeus and of the former Sisters of Nemesis, Prince Diamond decides to take control of his family's mission: to take over the Tokyo of the past (ou rpresent), to capture Rini, and to capture the Imperium Silver Crystal. (By this time, the Sailor Senshi have found out the reason why Rini has traveled back in time: to find the Silver Crystal and save her mom). Seeing that Diamond is in need of someone to carry out his plans, Emerald, a trusted member of the NegaMoon, offers her assistance. Prince Diamond agrees.
Now, Prince Diamond and Emerald aren't the only members of the NegaMoon family. Sapphire, Diamond's brother, plays an important role in the NegaMoon family saga. He and another "member" of the NegaMoon family, WiseMan, are constantly at odds with each other. While Sapphire is looking out for the well-being of Diamond and the NegaMoon family mission, WiseMan is just using the NegaMoon family for his own selfish means: to destroy Earth and spread the powers of the Doom Phantom all over the Universe!
(*NOTE: Rubeus and the 4 Sisters of Nemesis were also members of the NegaMoon family. As the story goes on, Rini is changed into Wicked Lady, another member of the NegaMoon family).
Prince Diamond(Prince Demando): (^_^) Prince Diamond is the omnipotent leader of the NegaMoon family and of the planet, Nemesis. Many years ago, his peopel were banished to the planet of Nemesis, and ever since then, he has sworn to get the inhabitants of Earth back for what they have done. He is very cool, calm, and calculates all of his strategic moves very carefully. (^_^). He sent Rubeus and the 4 Sisters to conquer Crystal Points, but they failed horribly. Emerald then volunteers herself to help Prince Diamond (after all, Diamond is her secret love!). He gives her the "ok" and has her go on her way. All the time Prince Diamond is giving out orders, WiseMan is right beside him, giving Diamond what he (WiseMan) the directions as to what he (Diamond) should do next. Diamond is totally unaware of WiseMan's true intentions, and because of that, Emerald and Sapphire fall to WiseMan's wrath. It isn't until Prince Diamond is confronted by Sailom Moon that he begins to understand what WiseMan is up to. In the room where Diamond and Sailor Moon are, WiseMan suddenly appears! Using all of his anger towards Diamond, he blasts him (and Sailor Moon) with dark energy. Prince Diamond then protects Sailor Moon from the blast by sacrificing his own life. He then dies in Sailor Moon's arms.
Dark Crystal Factoid(s):
*In the manga, Prince Diamond meets his demies at the hands of Sailor Moon.
*In the manga, Prince Diamond is given a special power by WiseMan; the use of a hypnotic eye.
*In the manga, Prince Diamond has NO CLUE whatsoever of what WiseMan is up to and never catches on to what his intentions are, either (unlike in the anime).
Emerald(Esmeraude): Emerald is the noisiest member of the NegaMoon family! She may be noisy, but she can get the job done! Unlike how Rubeus tried to actcually conquer Crystal Points, Emerald stes out doing something different. She has Sapphire make her Dark Wedges, items that when driven into the ground, filll that spot with enough negative energy to open up a Dark Gate and suck the planet into oblvion (in this case, it was Earth). Emerald would disguise herself on Earth while she'd search (with her earings) the perfect spot to drive a Dark Wedge. She's then send a droid to make suer the Wedge wasn't tampered with. But, of course (DARN!), the Sailor Senshi come and destroy the droid, not to mention the Dark Wedge. Every time Emerald is defeated, she grows more and more impatient with herself. She wants to be able to complete the mission in a very quick amount of time so that she can be with Prince Diamond (her ultimate dream). Seeing this as a weakness, WiseMan coaxes Emerald into using his Dark Tiara. Emerald slpis it on her head and then transforms into Queen Emerald! She can finally be with Diamond! But, what is this?! WiseMan tricks Emerald and has the Tiara turn her into a huge dragon that goes crazy on the deserted realm of Crystal Tokyo. The Sailor Senshi see the massive dragon and kill it. After they do, an image of Emerald can be seen, falling into the depths of the netherrealm).
Dark Crystal Factoid(s):
*Emerald wasn't turned into a dragon in the manga (like in the anime). She is killed by Tuxedo Mask.
*The code name of her mission (to kill Rini) (in the manga) was "Opperation Relax".
Sapphire(Saffir): Sapphire is the brother of Prince Diamond. He is always watching out for his well-being, whether or not he is appreciated for it. He is also the only member of the NegaMoon family to see right away what WiseMan is up to. In an effort to stop WiseMan from tearing apart Earth, Sapphire steals the NegaPower chip from the Dark Crystal generator and goes to Earth. He wants to tell Diamond what WiseMan is up to before it is too late! Sapphire is hurt before he reaches Earth and is later found wandering about by Prisma, who takes him to her house (her other sisters live there, too) to rest and relax. Once Sapphire comes to, he tells Prisma of what he must do: make Diamond aware of WiseMan's true motives! She unwillingly lets Sapphire go on his way. Saphire spots Diamond and WiseMan and he attempts to tell Diamond about how WiseMan is really a being known as the Doom Phantom and how he is just using the NegaMoon family for his own, selfish purposes. WiseMan then gets angry and blasts Sapphire with a jolt of energy. WiseMan tells Diamond that he did that because Sapphire is really a trator of the NegaMoon family who wnats all of the glory for himself. Sapphire once again tries to speak up to Diamond, but this time, WiseMan's energy blast kills Sapphire.
At that very same moment, Prisma (who is at her house) can sense something terrible has happened to Sapphier. With the Senshi around the scene, Diamond cries out into the open-air, screaming for his brother, Sapphire, to came back. Then, with all of the emotional strength he can muster together, he carries the lifeless body of Sapphire through a portal. (No one knows where to, though....).
Dark Crystal Factoid(s):
*In the manga, Sapphire received a special ability from WiseMan (to aid him in capturing the Silver Crystal), the Demon Hands.
*Contrary to the anime, Sapphire was killed by his OWN BROTHER, Prince Diamond (me)! (By the use of Diamond's Third Eye).
WiseMan(Doom Phantom/Death Phantom): WiseMan was the most evil being in all of the Universe (in his time). He was also the secret driving force brhind the planet of Nemesis. WiseMan came to Nemesis when he saw that it's people were very vulberable. He took advantage of the fact that they wanted to get back at the inhabitants of Earth because he, too, wanted to do the same thing. He wanted to DESTROY Earth and use the Silver Crystal to take over the Universe in the name of the Doom Phantom (his alter-ego). WiseMan is able to manipulate the NegaMoon family through Prince Diamond. Diamond trusts everything that WiseMan has to say and doesn't listen to anyone that tells him that WiseMan is in the wrong. Because of WiseMan, Diamond looses Emerald (got turned into a dragon) and Sapphire (got killed by WiseMan). It is only after the death of his brother, Sapphire, that he finally gets the true "message" about WiseMan.
In a crutial SailorMoon episode, WiseMan finds Diamond (with Sailor Moon) in the Dark Palace. WiseMan then says that Diamond is no longer needed for his plans of domination and that Sapphire was right about him the whole time: all WiseMan wanted to do was use the NegaMoon family for his own purposes! After protecting Sailor Moon, WiseMan kills Diamond. After that, Wiseman focuses his attention on his own "piece" of the NegaMoon family, Wicked Lady. He used what NegaPower he had to turn Rini's deepest, darkest emotions into what we know as Wicked Lady. By using Wicked Lady, WiseMan is able to open the Dark Gate, thus beginning the possible end of Earth as we know it. At the very location of the Dark Gate, a battle is going on between the Sailor Senshi, Tuxedo Mask, Wicked Lady, and WiseMan. It is when Sailor Moon morphs into NeoQueen Serenity, Rini gains her Silver Crystal, and the other Sailor Senshi, all pull together their powers and destroy WiseMan and the Dark Gate.

*In the manga, WiseMan and the Doom Phantom are thought to be 2 different beings.
*It is in the manga that WiseMan is killed by the Doom Phantom (who is then in turn killed by Sailor Moon and Sailor MiniMoon).
Wicked Lady(Black Lady): Wicked Lady is arguably the most popular of Rini's forms.Wicked Lady was birthed from the emotions Rini held deep inside of herself. They were feelings of being alone, no one caring for her, not being loved (which was not all true). WiseMan saw this and so he began to exploit Rini. He wnds up capturing Rini and coaxing her into the idea that all of her friends are really her enemies and that the only way she'll have revenge on them is to let the powers of the Dark Crystal fill her body. Rini agrees (^_^ YESS!) and WiseMan fills Rini up with the mystical powers of the Dark Crystal. It does not take long before Rini emerges as a NEW figure. No longer is she "Small Lady", with a short body and kiddie hair with a kiddie outfit on her. She is now the sexy, seductive, cold-hearted Wicked Lady!!!!!
Wicked Lady's sole mission is to fill each Crystal Point on Earth with as much negative energy as she possibly can. Afetr the death of Prince Diamond, Wicked Lady begins to intensify. She begins to quickly fill the Crystal Points with negative energy, just as WiseMan instructed her to do. She does all of this, in spite of the fact that Sailor Moon, Tuxedo Mask, and the other Sailor Senshi are trying to get Wicked Lady to realize that WiseMan is just using her capabilities for his own. selfish purposes!!!! This goes on for a little while, then the final battle begins. Sailor Moon and the gang meet up with Wicked Lady and WiseMan at the Dark Gate (which has now been opened). Wicked Lady relentlessly attacks Sailor Moon , Tuxedo Mask, and the Sailor Senshi, using all of the negapower she possesses. Seeing that Wicked Lady must turn back into the loveable Rini, Sailor Moon uses her Imperium Silver Crystal and turns into the royal, regal, beautiful NeoQueen Serenity. A struggle between her (and Tuxedo Mask) and Wicked Lady (and WiseMan) sson follows (over what Wicked Lady should believe: are her TRUE friends her real enemies, or is wiseMan just using her?). The powers of the Silver Crystal combat the evil powers inside of Wicked Lady (by flooding her mind with her true memories of the past). Wicked Lady then falls into the arms of her parents, NeoQueen Serenity (Sailor Moon) and Tuxedo Mask. Wicked Lady is no more. Rini is here to stay.
Dark Crystal Factoid(s):
*In the manga, as Wicked Lady was chosen to become the Queen of Nemesis, she regained her normal body after Sailor Pluto destroyed herself (by stopping time to save everyone). It was Wicked Lady's thoughts of Pluto's death being her fault that brought her back to her senses.
*In the manga, Wicked Lady's intentions are more slightly towards taking Tuxedo Mask away from Sailor moon. (Wicked Lady can be seen KISSING Tuxedo Mask! Whoa!).
***ENDING OF THE SAGA***: It is at the Dark Gate that NeoQueen Serenity (Sailor Moon) and Rini combine the powers of their Silver Crystals (along with the powers of the other Sailor Senshi) to destroy the Doom Phantom (WiseMan) and seal away the Dark Gate forever. Everyone returns to Earth and Rini returns home, to the future. Crystal Tokyo was saved! (!!!! DARN AGAIN!!!! ^_^). |
