RATINGS PHILOSOPHY

A team is responsible for two basic things:

First and foremost, WINNING . Due to the amount of games played, strength of schedule is minimal and is factored out. WinPct (WP) is used.

Second, is Point Domination or Point Ratio (PR)--Scoring the most points while allowing the opposition as few as points as possible. Teams that do better in this category, historically win more games.

System PCT (SP)-A team's OVERALL rating.
