| The New Microsoft Windows ME! |
Windows ME
A new Operating System bought out by Microsoft in September 2000 this year. A new revolutionary system, able to handle complex functions and faster Internet relations. With the new Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 people can surf the web with a more reliable structured framing and the ease of use.
Microsoft does declare this the best operating system for the home use ever. Starting first with MSDOS moving on to Windows 95 and finally Windows ME. One of the goals that Microsoft always improve on is the stableness of the software, where it is user friendly while still can do the more complex jobs.
I have tried it and it does everything I want it to do and more. It hasnt crashed on me ever and the glitches that I have problems with in Windows 98 are fixed. I have played complex games on it as well and it has come on top. People that are trying to use a Pentium 120MHZ and 24MB of RAM on it will never perform as well and doesnt offer all of its features. I would suggest at least an AMD Duron 600MHZ or an Intel Celeron 633MHZ with at least 64MB of RAM (128MB Recommended). If you havent bought it yet you will want to buy it now. Youll enjoy it very much and youll see that it will do everything you want it to do.
Costs:
Windows 98 Only Upgrade: $49.95 US
Windows 95, 98 Upgrade: $79.99 US
Windows ME Full Edition $179.99 US
