| The new Gamecube made by Nintendo will replace the N64. It will be deployed hopefully by next Semptember (2001). It will out beat the PS2 by far. Although Nintendo will still put out its games, the games will be limited but not for long after the deployment. The system is just a small cube with a CD-DVD player on top just like the X-box. It has a 400MHZ processor with 64MB of RAM and a good size video card. What is the Advantage of the Gamecube over the X-Box, simple it is very small, compact and the games are on a small mini disk. The graphics should be great and realistic sourround sound experience. The major difference between the gamecube and the x-box is that the x-box has a higher processor which means better graphics, speed and realizm and also the X-box can be networked which means you can hook it up to other x-boxes or computers and play with other players that is awesome. The price is still unknown but it will be very competitive to the PS2 and the X-box. It will be shipped next year about September, again about the same time as X-box. For me if you're a real Nintendo fan this is the right unit for you. But if you are a first time buyer I would rather buy the X-box but the choice is yours. |
