In November 2002 she represented Malta in the Prague International Song Contest and the song placed third place. Nadine was one of the twenty finalists in the KONKORS KANZUNETTA INDIPENDENZA held on the 15th September 2002. The song is called Jistenna with music and arrangement by Marica Axisa and lyrics by Alfred E. Baldacchino. She took part in a live concert as part of the Evenings on Campus at the University of Malta in August 2002. She is currently collaborating on two new CD's in Maltese. One of them is a musical, Edel Quinn which was held lately at The Greek Theatre in Ta' Qali Grounds. About Nadine: Nadine is a young versatile singer born in Malta on the 12 th. of August 1981. She is well known for her hit songs "Ma Ninsik Qatt" (M.Axisa), the winning sentimental song of the Kliem u Muzika PBS song contest 1996. In January 1997 she participated in the Malta Song For Europe Contest with her childhood friends Aylwin and Elisa. They sung the pop song "Love Is"(M.Axisa/D.Chetcuti). Other local successes followed including reggae song "Kopji Fotokopji with Jeff "(M.Axisa/M.Fenech Caruana)from L-Ghanja tal-Poplu 1997, the semiclassical song "Min Jaf"(M.Spiteri Lucas/P.Ellul) with which she placed third in the Indipendenza Song Festival 1997 and "Ejja Hdejja"(M.Spiteri Lucas/P.Ellul) from the Malta International Song Festival held in Gozo in 1997. The sweet rendition of the song "L-isbah Raqda" (M.Spiteri Lucas/P.Ellul) gave her a much merited placing in the L-Ghanja tal-Poplu 1998. JEKK GHADA MA JISBAHX has given Nadine and her songwriters considerable success since it is one of the three Maltese songs available on an American Airline including the ballads The one that I Love and Let Me Fly. The song is entitled ENDLESSLY. JEKK GHADA MA JISBAHX was the only song selected in the Maltese Language as part of an INTERNATIONAL SONG CONTEST held in Malta under the auspices of FIDOF. 1999 EVENTS She sang in The International Maltese Song Contest with the song "Jekk Ghada Ma Jisbahx" by composer Rene Mamo and lyricist Joe Julian Farrugia. The festival was held on the 10th. and 11th. September 1999. The song placed a prestigious 6th position. She also took part in the Konkors Festival Indipendenza with the Song" It-tama taz-Zernieq" Composer Dominic Galea and author Joe Friggieri. The song had a prestigious placing. The same team placed third in the Ghanja tal-Poplu 2000. The song was called DAK LI GHEDTLI DAKINHAR.
She played a major role together with Alwyin and Elisa in the classical Caritas (Malta) CD "Angel Voices at Christmas" a CD which was launched in 1997 all proceeds for the Xefaq Programme in aid of HIV and AIDS patients and support groups. The Compact disk contains 15 tracks consisting of popular traditional christmas tunes. Local composers and authors including Richard Caruana, Carmel Bianchi and Marica Axisa contributed towards this CD. This also includes "Caro Gesu Bambino" a cappella . Baldacchino and music by Philip Vella. The festival was held on the 24th April 1999. She also sung in that year's SONG FOR EUROPE 1999 . HOLD MY HAND is a euro-pop song written by Marica Axisa and Rita Pace. The song is a duet between Nadine and Rita, the lyricist. She also sang in the 2001 edition with words and music by Philip Vella , the song was called He's My Romeo. In the 2002 edition she had two songs in the finals, one called Think of You by Joe Julian Farrugia and Marica Axisa. The other song was called Romantic by Ray Agius.
Nadine is active in the local music scene and is available for any kind of musical entertainment including wedding masses, receptions, classical concerts, musicals and backings for CD productions. She has presented variety shows and local music radio broadcasts. She had the opportunity to co-present a programme with Alfred Borg on Radio Malta 1 called Ghanjijietna which was based on Maltese Music. 2002 saw two musical productions for her on TV, RED on NET TV, a musical programme and X'Sibt Maghna on PBS. She sings in a five star deluxe hotel and also a resident singer at several deluxe hotels. She is following her final year in a Bachelor's Degree Course at the University of Malta.
