Then hit the abort button UP-C while still holding the brake down. As long as you hold the brake down, your car will never come back down. Alcatraz Track Remove the controller pak before entering this code and use the d-pad when entering directions (left, right, up, down). At the main menu, select Circuit, and at the following menu, choose Just Play. In the Circuit menu, select the Enter Code Option and input the following password: 8DP5KG5L4G59P G92WVCQYODRDQ After you enter the password, select Continue Circuit and start a race. When the race starts, let the time run out. After the race go to the Select Car screen, press and hold Left-C, press Z, release both buttons, and press Left. Go to the Setup menu, press and hold C-Up, press Z, release both buttons, and press Up. Go to the Track Select screen, press and hold C-Right, press Z, release both buttons, and press Right. Now go to the Select Car Screen, Press and hold bottom-C, press Z, release both buttons, and press Down, L, R. If you entered the code correctly, a trumpet will sound. When you enter the Select Track Menu, You'll find Track 7, a track From the upcoming game, San Francisco Rush The Rock: Alcatraz Edition. Auto Abort Disable This disables the auto abort in San Francisco Rush. Normally, if a car stops for a period of time (i.e. stuck on a wall), the game will automatically move the car back to the course. To turn it off, go to the Setup screen then press Up C, Up C, Up C, Up C. A small icon with "00.06" will appear along the bottom of the screen if the code is entered correctly. Repeat the code to turn this option off. Bonus Cars Acquiring half the keys on any course in a regular race will unlock a cab. Acquiring all of the keys unlocks a hot rod. Burning Car Replay As you cross the finish line, crash your car. After "Game Over" starts flashing, and before it has stopped flashing, hold down the L, R and Z Buttons until the post-game high score display demo begins. Your car will still be crashed and burning, but will be driving around the track is if nothing was wrong. Change Car Size On the Car Select Screen press and hold C-Down and C-Up, then release both buttons. Then press and hold C-Up then C-Down and release both buttons to activate the code. Change Gravity On the Setup screen hold the Z Button and press Up, Down on the Control Pad/Stick. Release the Z Button and press Up, Down, Up, Down. The symbol of a weight will appear along the top of the screen. Repeat the code to switch between several gravity options. Change Rear Tire Size On the Car Select screen, press and hold Right C then Left C and release both buttons. Then press and hold Left C then Right C to activate the code. The car in the viewing window will reflect the changes. Use the code repeatedly to change between the different tire sizes. Change Track Textures On the Setup screen, press and hold Right C then press the L Button. Release both buttons, then press the Z Button. Press and hold Right C then press the L Button and release both buttons. Press the Z Button again to activate the code. If the code is entered correctly, a small checkered pattern will appear along the bottom of the screen. Repeat the code to switch between the different textures. Change Viewing Distance During a race, hold the View (L Button) and press Up or Down on the Control Pad/Stick to change the camera distance. Disable Vehicle Collisions This turns on and off car collisons, allowing your car to pass through other cars without taking damage. On the Setup screen, press Left then hold Right then press Right C and release both buttons, then press Up C, Left C, Down C, Z Button. A bus icon will appear along the bottom of the screen if entered correctly. Repeat the code to turn this option off. Drive an Exploding Hulk On the Car Select screen, hold C-Up and press Z, Z, Z, Z. Repeat the code to switch between smoking hulk, burnt-out hulk, or normal. Foggy Night Go to the Options screen and change "Fog" to the Heavy setting. Then hold all four C buttons and press right on the Control Pad. You should now have access to Foggy Night. Infinite Time On the Setup screen, hold the Z Button, then press and hold Down C then Up C. Continue to hold the Z Button, and release the C Buttons. Press and hold Up C then Down C to activate the code. A small clock with line through it will appear if the code is entered correctly. Repeat the code to deactivate this option. Random High Score Names When viewing the Fast Times or Best Laps information from the Records screen, press L, R, L, R, L, R, L, R. You can now leave your name blank and one will be chosen for you. Resurrect in Place This will attempt to place the car at the same spot as where the car was destroyed. It will make one attempt to place the car in the same spot but if it cannot, it will then will move the car back onto the track. On the Setup screen, hold the Z button, then press and hold C-Left then C-Right. Continue to hold the Z button and release the C- buttons. Press and hold C-Right then C-Left to activate the code. A small "R" with a line through it will appear if the code is entered correctly. Repeat the code to deactivate this option. Reverse Controls On the Options screen, highlight "Mirror" and hold all four C Buttons. Press Left/Right on the Control Pad/Stick to view an extra option called "Extreme." In this mode, Left is Right and Right is Left. Secret Training Course Go to track 6. Right when you start turn around and soon you will see a big hill. drive up the hill and follew the road. You will see an intersection but keep going straight. soon you will see a danger sign over a dirt road. go on the road and stop right before the checkpoint.Go off the cliff to your left but dont touch the water.turn right and drive along the water. If done Right, you'll see a Tunnel in the Ground! Shortcuts Level 2: When you see a truck go under it and you should hit a jump, go on to a building, hit a jump, and land on yet another building. Also, when you see a danger sign, go left and hit a jump. Another one is when you see a line of cones. Go through it and stay in the left lane and keep your speed at about 125 mph. You will go on a broken bridge and into a weird situation. Level 4: When you see a big place of grass there are two shortcuts to the right. The first one you hit a jump and go through a tunnel. The second one is farthest to the right. You go through a tunnel which starts to go up. You come out and hit the top of a tunnel which is a jump. You will then go on the top of a building. You will now hit a jump and land on a building. Follow the gray line and you will fall off the building and go through an alleyway made of brick. Stunt Track On track 2, there are two places with cones you can drive through. On the 2nd one, go up the hill, at about 120 miles per hour. Stay that speed the whole way. Stay in the very left lane. When you go off the hill, if done right, you should be on another road. Keep driving on that road as fast as you can. You should see a red loop-the-loop. Stay in the left lane, and hit the loop-the-loop. If going fast enough, you should do a loop-the-loop. Tag Mode Allows players to play a special game of tag. Hit the abort button during the countdown sequence at the start of a 2-player practice game. The timer will be set to 5 minutes. When you‘re IT, your timer is running. IT must tag the other player to stop his timer and make the other player IT. The newly-IT player will resurrect in place, causing a delay and giving the former IT time to escape. Player 2 is always IT first. When time runs out, "Game Over" shows until someone presses Start. Turn Cones into Mines For explosive action, quickly press L, R, L, R, L, R on the SETUP screen. This code turns the cones into mines that blow up anything that hits them. Drive safely! Turn into a Real Mine To do this you must enter the code where the cones turn into mines. Start the game and run into a mine. Now quit the game and turn off the cones. After all that, put in the turn car into mine code and start the game. Once in the game, run into a mine and you'll become one. NOTE: If you're a mine and you hit another car, you turn back into a car, and the car you hit blows up. Turn into a Virtual Mine Replaces the car in the viewing window with an orange mine. This is only for viewing purposes, and the car will not appear as a mine during the actual race. On the Car Select screen, press Right C, Right C, Z, Down C, Up C, Z, Left C, Left C. Perform the code again to viewing the cars normally. Upside-Down Tracks To turn the track upside down, quickly press Up, Right, Down, Left, Down, Right, Up, Left on the SETUP screen. TOP GEAR RALLY Access All Cars To access all cars, highlight Arcade Mode and press A, Left, Left, C-Down, A, Right, Z. Access All Tracks To access all tracks, highlight Arcade Mode and press A, Left, Left, Right, Down, Z. Chrome Plating Finish the fifth year (all six seasons, including Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter, Expert and Professional), and a new "easter egg" will allow you to change your car textures to "mirror." Simply click the lower C-Button when on the car selection screen, and you can race as a chromed car. Looks best in replays. Earning the Bonus Cars To access the bonus cars you need to all six seasons (Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter, Expert and Professional) for the years shown. Finishing the first year grants you the MILK TRUCK. After the second year you'll be the proud owner of a HELMET CAR. In the third year you earn the CUPRA CAR glowing bow on wheels. And last but not least, in the fourth year you gain the BEACHBALL CAR. Easter Egg Start the game and hold down all four C-Buttons, and a date will appear on the title screen. This is the official completion date for Top Gear Rally. How to Get Unstuck If you get stuck, hold the B button and press UP and DOWN continuously on the analog stick. Hug the Rail Your car doesn't slow down while rubbing fences. You can sucessfully zoom around most turns at top speed by carefully running the car up to the wall, keep going straight and flooring the accelerator. This works the best at the Coastline track. Level Select If you wish to warp go to practice. Start playing the Mirror jungle and press A, B, B, A, B, A, Z, A. Now choose what level to go to! Mirror Cars Start a new race, then press Right, Up, Left, C-Down, C-Down, A, Right, Z. Once that's done, exit the race, return to the car selection screen and press C-Down while selecting a car. Mirror Tracks Start a new race then press Right, Up, Left, C-Down, Right, Down and Z. Play as a Beach Ball To access the Beach Ball car, press B, B, A, Left, Left, C-Down, A, Right at the Championship select screen. ** YOU WILL ENTER AND LEAVE MENUS WHILE ENTERING THIS CODE. ** After you have entered the code, you'll find the Beach Ball on the Car Select menu. Play as the Cupra To get the oddly shaped Cupra car without beating the game, simply enter the following code at the Arcade screen: C-Down, Up, B, Right, A, C-Down, A, Right. ** YOU WILL ENTER AND LEAVE MENUS WHILE ENTERING THIS CODE. ** After you've entered the code you'll find the Cupra on the Car Select menu. Play as the Helmet Car Go to Arcade (mode selection screen) and press Up, Up, Z, B, A, Left, Left. ** YOU WILL ENTER AND LEAVE MENUS WHILE ENTERING THIS CODE. ** After entering this code you'll find the Helmet Car on the Car Select menu. Play as the Milk Truck To drive the milk truck press DOWN, A, RIGHT, Z, RIGHT, UP, DOWN C at the menu screens before the race. Make sure you have plenty of aspirin on hand… Submitted by The Game Dr Shortcuts COASTLINE: At the first corner take the right hand road, NOT THE TUNNEL. The road is a much easier and hence faster turn. After the first natural tunnel you go through you'll find a break in the guardrail on your right. Go though this break and continue straight across a beach (along the water) for this shortcut. After you re-enter from the beach, turn left, right, left and before you finish the next right you'll notice a break in the stone wall on your left (you should be able to see a lighthouse in front of you). Turn through the break and stay to the left on the grass so that you are running beside a stone wall. This will lead you to the end of the short cut. JUNGLE: After you start the race, stay to the right hand side of the road. During the first turn you'll see a hut on the right. Just after the hut is a hidden short cut. Hit the brakes and turn right. After this shortcut you'll notice a left turn sign, followed by a right turn sign. You'll then enter a long left hand turn that has many left turn arrows and has a stone wall on the right. When you are almost finished this turn you'll notice some grass covering part of the wall, drive up this onto a grassy hill. After you pass the point of tree on the hill, turn right and continue on the grass, otherwise you'll jump straight off the hill and into a wall on the other side of the track! DESERT: After you leave the city you'll see a house on the right hand side of the road. SLOW DOWN and turn onto the grass before the house and follow the tire marks. They'll lead you through the short cut. This is a difficult short cut. You might want to skip this one until you've learned to control the cars better. After travelling through a valley, you'll have a choice between a high and low road. Take the low road to your left and put the petal to the floor. The high road has some sharp turns in it, but the load road is one long sweeping left handers. MOUNTAIN: Eventually you'll come to a dirt road. After about 4-5 sharp turns you'll notice a sign high on the right hand side of your screen that shows you that a "Y" intersection is coming up. Turn right, and slow down. Take the a left at the "Y" and go down the "Jacked up Road." Careful! If you go to fast you'll definately be in trouble! STRIP MINE: Soon after you start the race there will be a fork in the road, go to the right and head straight, soon you will see an open mine shaft, go in it and hug the right wall, there will be a ramp that you can jump off and onto a higher mine shaft. When you are about halfway through the strip mine course, you will se a house with a dirt parking lot, stay to the right and you will go upon a narrow dirt road with a jump on it, go off the ramp and stay as far to the right as you can, you will be on a road that would have been blocked off if you didn't jump over it. by taking those short cuts, you can almost garuntee 1st or 2nd place.
