If you complete Shadows of the Empire and collect all the challenge points on the Medium difficulty level, the game will give you a cheat that allows you to fly an X-Wing or a TIE fighter in the Skyhook Battle. this code alows you to do the same thing without fulfilling the noral conditions. Sam and Max Challenge Point
This is a nifty challenge point. After exiting Mos Eisley, hook a tight left-hand turn. If done correctly, you'll enter into a little stone room and you'll see the floating silver, and ever so slightly demonic, head of Max, from LucasArt's classic The Adventures of Sam and Max.

Easy way to defeat IG-88
I found an easy way to defeat IG-88. First get off the train and go to the stairway to the right. In the cylinders there is challenge points and health in one, but there is invincibility in the other one. Get the invincibility and defeat him with you flamethrower or seekers.

Strategy/Level Walkthrough
Mission 1 : The Battle of Hoth
Your Mission Objective: Destroy the Imperial Forces and buy time for the rebels to escape. Some of your opponents will be Scout Walkers (AT-STs), AT-AT Walkers, and Imperial Probe Droids. There are three Challenge Points in total in this level
Stage 1:
This stage is a simple one. All four Imperial Droids must be destroyed. Just locate them on your radar and shoot. No challenge points here.
Stage 2:
Once again, an easy stage. There are two pesty Probe Droids here and two Scout Walkers. The Scout Walkers can be easily destroyed from a distance. This may take a little longer, but it ensures the your battle damage will be held to a minimum. Use the air brakes to slow down your approach. No challenge points here.
Stage 3:
Here's where things get tricky. First, take out the two Probe Droids then go to work on the Scout Walkers. This will clear the way for the AT-AT. The AT-AT Walker is approaching the rebel base, and while it can be destroyed after heavy blaster damage (more will occur when you target its head), we recommend you use the harpoon and tow cable for this monster. Use the Z-trigger to attack it when in close range. The angle will change automatically, so be prepared. Stay slow and close to as not to lose the toe-cable. Using this technique is faster and will also gain you the first challenge point.
Stage 4:
This is the biggy of the four levels, and it's the most satisfying and challenging. The best way to complete this stage safely is by completing the following tasks in this order: A) Destroying the four Probe Droids; B) Destroying the three Scout Walkers; C) Destroying the two AT-AT Walkers by using the harpoon and tow cable technique. Essentially, the AT-ATs are broken up into two groups, and you should stay out of the middle area to avoid heavy damage. The best angle to approach each group is from behind, making sure to use the air brakes as you approach. By doing this you will not only get through the stage easily, but you will also get the third and fourth challenge points (one per walker) as well. May the force be with you!
Mission 2 : Escape From Echo Base
Your Mission Objectives : Activate the Emergency Generators so you and the rebel colleagues can escape. There are 10 Challenge Points in total.
Stage 1:
Basically, this is like Doom, but fewer puzzles, so kill anything on two legs and get to the elevator. Some enemies you'll encounter are Snow Troopers, Imperial Probe Droids and the Hoth Snow Beasts. The Snow Troopers are easy to kill; just make sure you shoot them before they shoot you. The Snow Beasts are a little tougher. The best way to kill them off without wasting too much ammo is by letting them tear each other apart. Find the door they're located in (there are two rooms of them, each near the entrances of the hallways at the level's beginning), and kill off any Storm Troopers nearby. There are three Snow Beasts in cages. Go to the switch on the door, flip it and run out of the room -- stand back from the door, so they don't detect you're out there, or they will open the door. They will slaughter each other until it's very quiet. Now, enter the room, and with a Seeker or two at the momst you should clear the last one and load up on ammo and health from the cages.
Make sure to blow up any boxes in the hallways, they oftentimes contain power-ups and ammo. To get the first challenge point, take the first hallway on your right when you see the Millenium Falcon take off. You will come to a door. Go in it. Inside you can see a red cylinder behind the door. Opposite from this red cylinder is a hidden passage. Open it with the "R" button and get the first challenge point. Leave this room. Go down the hallway until you see four boxes to your right. Destroy them, but beware of a Snow Beast. Use Seekers to dust him, and then go into collect your second challenge point. Now, go down the hallway that you were in when you got the first challenge point. At the first intersection, make a right. After a while you should come to a bridge. Don't cross it yet. Look to your right and you should see a ledge. Get to the ledge by running or jumping. The third challenge point is located here. Of course, there is some pretty heavy cross-fire here, so knock out any dangerous opponents. Now that you've got that, cross the bridge and as you come out of the shadows ahead to your right. Cross the ledge and grab your fourth and final challenge point for stage one. Get your butt to the elevator, which marks the end of the stage.
Stage 2:
Your opponents here are familiar. The objective here is to activate the generators and hit up the escape elevator. To get the first challenge point, turn to your right when you reach the first ramp and jump onto the structure. Walk around to the far side of it and you'll find the Challenge Point. Go back to the ramp and run straight until you see the extra life across the chasm. Jump and grab it then turn around. Walla! The sixth challenge point is right in front of your face! The next challenge point can be found where the huge structure is after leaving the Generator Room. It's on the floor to Dash's left. You'll need to jump off the bridge to get into the structure. Good luck, it can be tough. Obtaining the eighth challenge point is more of the same. The Challenge Point is located on the floor of the giant structure to the right of the Generator Room. There are two ways to obtain it. You can: A) Jump off the bridge to get it or B) Jump across from the seventh Challenge Point's location to get into the structure. Now proceed to the point of the stage where the ground starts to split off. Take the left side of the split and stand still at the beginning of the chasm. The ninth Challenge Point will be revealed from the wall. Grab it and get out of that chasm!
Boss: Imperial Scout Walker (Stage 2)
Now you've reached the Scout Walker. There are two ways to knock this mechanical beast out. The best way to take this guy out is by hitting him from an elevated surface. Jump from box to box until you reach the ledge. Hit him with a few seekers and keep moving. A few repetitions of this and he'll be dead in no time. After beating him blow up all the boxes and get all the goodies. The second way is to get right behind him and blast away. Now go down the hallway and you should see four boxes to your right. Shoot 'em and go down the secret passage. You'll see another Hoth Snow Beast so kill him. Run and jump across the chasm. The 10th and final challenge point is in your hands. All you need to do now is get to the elevator.
Level 3 : The Asteroid Field
Your Mission Objectives : Shoot down all 60 Tie Bombers and 20 Tie Fighters. There are six Challenge Points in total.
Stage 1:
The six Challenge Points are all easy to get. All you need to do is look out for red-colored asteroids. Destroy them quickly before they disappear and you'll get all six Challenge Points. Of course, you'll have to juggle your concentration between the asteroids and the fighters. Remember, you can destroy the green bombs the Tie Bombers deploy. Make sure you hit them before they hit you. Another thing to note is that your missiles replenish themselves after you've used them up. Don't be afraid to use them. It's best to avoid shooting regular asteroids; they'll disintegrate into little pieces that'll damage your ship.
Mission 4 : Ord Mantell Junkyard
Your Mission Objectives : Jump from train to train and destroy Imperial Bounty Hunter IG-88.
This one is simple, but there are a few notable pointers. Generally, duck under the higher bars and jump over the lower bars. Turn red laser walls off by shooting the switches on the side structures; this can and should be done from quite a distance. Jump from train to train, but make sure the train you jump on isn't on a course with the lake (the train on the left about mid-way through the game). The first Challenge Point will be right above you at the beginning of the level. The second point is to the left of the train above the first bar. The third point is about four bars after Challenge Point #2. When the train turns left you'll be able to see it to your right, above the bar. The next Challenge Point, #4, is inside the boxcar to your left. You'll be able to get to it once the skeleton to your left boards your car. Challenge Point #5 is tougher. When the train to your left begins to sink in the muck, look for the point to come above you at the center of the train. It'll be near the opening of the wall so you'll have to jump for it. To get the next Challenge Point, jump on the next train to merge with you to your left. It will have many cars and the point can be found in the third car. Challenge Point #7 can be found in mid-air between the third and fourth cars. Head toward the car with a ramp. It's on the roof. Point #8 is also suspended in mid-air. It can be found on the last car above a tiny ledge. You'll have to jump for it, so be careful or you'll end up crushed by the train. Just before the last train you'll be able to find Challenge Point #9 on the car to your right. To get the next two points, you'll have to be careful. They can only be obtained when battling IG-88, the boss stage. Point #11 is inside one of the barrels on fire at the bottom of IG-88's area. And Challenge Point 12, the final point, is located in the other barrel. Good luck.
Boss: IG-88
Defeating IG-88: The best thing to do is grab the flame-thrower. It does a lot of damage and should kill IG-88 quickly. Go to the barrels below and run to the other side. The flame-thrower will be near the left-hand corner. Another way to defeat IG-88 is to wait for him to come to you. When the stage starts, Dash is on the left side of two symmetrical areas, divided by the train tracks in the middle. Run to the right side of the tracks, find the stairs, run up them, and then leap onto the uppermost ledge. On it are Seekers. Grab them and wait for IG-88 to clank on over. You may die once in the process, but when you blast him the Seekers will do a lot of damage.
Mission 5: Gall Spaceport
Your Mission Objectives: Destroy all opponents. Get the jetpack. Neutralize Boba Fett.
Stage 1:
This is a long level! First you must get a fix on Fett's location, then jetpack through the chasm. This is not an easy task. We strongly suggest using the first-person perspective on this one. Get the first challenge point on top of Dash's ship. The second one can be found around the ledge of the chasm that branches off to the right (just after the Wompa's cavern). To get it, walk to nearly the end, turn around and you'll see a few steps. Get a good angle on them and leap. These steps will lead you to it (keep looking down). The third Point can be found inside the structure with the big door. When you reach some sectioned off bridges, climb to the highest one and jump off. If done correctly, you'll hit the point and land on the lower bridge. An even better way is to continue farther on and get the jetpack, and then travel back to get it. Also, below the lowest bridge is a bonus life, barely visible in red. You'll need the jetpack to get it. Point Four is on the roof of the tower where you find the jetpack. Easy, huh? Five can be seen up and to the right of the first of three little mesas (actually there are four altogether, but one can be skipped) you land on when jetpacking across the chasm. It's high above another rock, so make sure you conserve on fuel. That's it for stage 1.
Stage 2:
Find Boba Fett and finish him! Now that's a simple premise! To get Challenge Point 6, jetpack down the chasm once you reach the cave with the transport. You'll find a hidden room with the point waiting for you. Point 7 can be found on a ledge outside the cavern. Before taking a ride on the transport, go out of the cave and jetpack upward to your left. To get point 8, jetpack across the chasm to the ledge that has the point. This must be done right before you enter the hanger, when you're on the transport. Challenge Point 9 is a snap. First, kill the Scout Walker boss and a panel will open up. It's in there. Make sure to pick up free health and weapons in each of the vent ports. Number 10 can be found in the first shaft you enter with the rotating propellers. Drop down and use your jetpack to grab it. It is located between the second and third propellers. When you pass through all the shafts, you'll find yourself in an open cavern. The 11th point is up to your left, but it's wise to shoot down the guys in green before you venture too high. Point 12 can be found above you when taking the next transport across the canyon. Jump for it. The 13th Point is above the Imperial ship in the hangar. To get Challenge Point 14, jetpack out of the fortress and go down just above the chasm floor. It's around there, so you'll have to run around for a bit. The final point can be found by jetpacking down from the hangar to the chasm floor. Run around the enclosed space until you find the lower level. Fly down to the close hangar and in front of the door will the final point.
