Escape Counters

You can escape a counter hit on this game as long as you have very good reflexes and timing. To do this, you must hit the A and B buttons together the moment you see the blue star appear on the screen. This is hard to get the hang of and it may take some time to master but once you become used to it this is a very useful trick.

Change Winning Pose

To change your characters winning pose, simply repeatedly tap A or B as soon as you deliver the winning blow.

Knock The Other Character Over After Battle

To knock the other character over after battle, win the match via judge's decision while standing close to your opponet. If your character does an attack for their winning pose he will knock down your opponet.

Jump On Thin Air

To jump on nothing, go into training and keep jumping backwards. When you try and jump off the edge your character will jump over the edge and keep on jumping.

Play Vs. Battle With Characters From The Same Controller Pack

To do this trick insert your controller pack (assuming you have your own special characters on it) and go into Training. As soon as you're in Training, pause the game and choose Reset. Now go into V.S. Com and tell the computer you want to continue without a controller pack. Now insert your controller pack from Controller 1 into Controller 2. Now choose change controller pack. Assuming you did this right and you're not in Win or Lose Mode, you should be able to use characters from the same controller pack.

9th Gained Skill

After you have gained all eight skills from Master Mode on one character, gain one different skill with a different character on another controller pack. Now go into two player battle (make sure you have two controllers in and a controller pack in each one.) Chose Win or Lose Mode and have the character with one skill lose to the character with eight. You will now have a character with 9 skills, and above the star will be a red circle.

Blow Pierre's Head Up

While using Pierre, press the L shoulder button repeatedly and Pierre's nose will get bigger and bigger. Eventually his head will blow up. Ouch

Ushi's Secret Knockdown

While using Ushi the Cow, tap the L shoulder button twice and Ushi will pull out a bottle of milk. If you are right next to your opponet she will knock them down when she puts it away.

How to Get Stars

To get stars, simply beat V.S. Com. The star will appear on the character's picture. It is my understanding that secret characters (Boro, Ushi, The Master, Robo, and The Joker) cannot earn stars.

Double Ring-Out Death

This is a funny glitch that will get some laughs. When you are fighting your opponent in any mode, force him into the corner of the arena. Keep pushing him until he is hanging onto the ledge. When he is hanging, kick him down. Once he starts to fall, keep pressing forward. If you do this right, your fighter will run off the edge with your fallen opponent. It's really weird. It's also easier to do if you make the arena size 4.0 Meters.

Gained Skill

If you want to see which skill you have gained, simply press one of the C-buttons before you select a character. This is much easier than looking in the command list.

Change Outfits

To change your fighter's colors and uniform, hold down the R-Button at the selection screen. Often the second outfit looks much better than the normal one.

Extra Characters

Boro - To play as Boro from Switzerland, you simply need to beat the game on Easy Mode.

Robert the Robot - Go into the Fastest Mode and beat all the fighters in less than one minute (combined time). You will now be able to play as Robert.

Ushi the Cow - Enter the Rodeo Mode and stay alive for one minute (or more), and you will be able to select the Cow as a playable character. Two colors available: brown and classic cow.

The Joker - This one's tough: Beat all 100 characters inthe Survival Mode, and the Joker will become a playable character. Good luck.

The Master - Enter the Master Challenge with any character, beat everyone, and you will be able to select the Master as a playable character.
