GETTING STARTED ON THE GAME................

Have you ever wanted to see Pikachu in its natural habitat? With the
groundbreaking new game Pokémon Snap, you will capture lots Pokémon found in
the wild--not with a Poké Ball but with a camera! Some shots are easy, like
snapping Pikachu relaxing on the beach, but others are much more difficult, such
as taking the picture of Pikachu riding on the back of a rare, flying Pokémon!

In Pokémon Snap, you're on assignment from Professor Oak, the world-famous
Pokémon professor. He needs lots of photos taken on Pokémon Island, where
you'll cross six fascinating environments in search of all the Pokémon you can
find. Pidgey will soar over your shoulder on the
Beach. Diglett will pop up in the Tunnel. A
group of Charmander will run by in the Volcano.
And that's only in the first three environments!
Wait until you see all the lively Pokémon in the
River, Cave and Valley.

When you return to Professor Oak's lab, he'll score your photos based on several
merits: Did you capture the Pokémon in a great pose? Does its size fill the photo
frame? Is it centered within the shot? And have you snapped more of the same
kind of Pokémon in the background? Taking photos on Pokémon Island is a lot of
fun, but it's a true test of your photography skills, too!

After you've taken lots of good shots, you can save them in your
photo album and print them out as stickers at participating
locations. You still gotta catch 'em all--this time with a good eye
and a quick camera snap! And with one more trick up your sleeve,
the Pokémon Snap Player's Guide, you'll discover all the amazing
secrets of Pokémon Island.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
POKEMON ISLAND
In Pokémon Snap, you play Todd, a photographer from the world of Pokémon. You'll explore Pokémon Island from inside one of the Professor's inventions, the ZERO-ONE vehicle that takes a set, safe course through multiple environments, whether its by land, lava or water. As you bring more fantastic Pokémon photos to the lab, the Professor will give you items like Pokémon Food, Pester Balls and the Poké Flute. These will help you set up even better photos of Pokémon that you've already seen--and Pokémon that have been hiding all along! ---------------------
THE BEACH
---------------------
Slap on the sunblock and take the lens cap off your camera! You'll be riding in the ZERO-ONE across ocean shores and grassy slopes where Butterfree flutters, Meowth makes mischief and Pikachu frolics in the sun. Some Pokémon are well hidden, so plan to return once you have more of the Professor's helpful items!
----------------------
THE TUNNEL
----------------------
Prepare for an eerie experience. You're going underground into a dark, derelict power plant that's far from empty. Electrode rolls through the chambers, sharing space with Electabuzz and Magnemite. This strange Pokémon ecosystem has its full share of mysteries hidden among the abandoned machinery.
-----------------------
THE VOLCANO
-----------------------
Things really start to heat up when fire-loving Pokémon approach you from their lava-filled beds. Charmander roams the volcanic rubble, Moltres is always on the prowl for food and Vulpix will come right up to your camera. The lava craters contain a few surprises, so be ready for a few hot shots!
------------------------
THE RIVER
------------------------
After spending so much time in the inferno, it feels nice to cool your heels in this gentle river flow. Here schools of Magikarp swim below the surface, Shellder flies up from the depths and Slowpoke waits on the river bank. Floating down the river is fun, but keeping an eye on the river and both banks will keep you busy!
-------------------------
THE CAVE
-------------------------

You plunge into these depths down a vast subterranean waterfall which leads into a series of beautiful caves full of odd sights. Grimer lurks in back corners, Weepinbell does laps around a tranquil pool and Koffing breaks the serenity by chasing Jigglypuff. Many secrets abound throughout this underground haven.
-------------------------
THE VALLEY
-------------------------
Emerging into daylight again, you float down the swift Valley river. Squirtle teeters on the shore, along with the dig-happy Sandshrew, and Dratini speeds through the currents, leaping and twisting in midair. Some fascinating evolutions are in play, but you need to think creatively to coax these Pokémon changes into the open.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
POKEMON ITEMS
POKEMON FOOD ---------------
What Pokémon could resist such a
delectable snack! Many Pokémon will react happily to these treats, and often the
Professor will give high points for creatures in the midst of a meal. You can also use
Pokémon Food to lead Pokémon to specific areas or just to get a creature's attention.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
PESTER BALLS
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Whatever kind of repellent Professor Oak filled these little balls with, it does the trick. You can use Pester Balls to flush creatures out into the open or even knock them out cold. Shy Pokémon hide in shrubs and grass, inside logs and within crates, so throw them everywhere!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
IF YOU NEED TO TOOT, USE THE POKE FLUTE!!!!!!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Music is the universal language, and the Poké Flute will cause all sorts of creatures to get their grooves on--some will boogie, some will do a mesmerized
march and others will show off their special abilities. The Poke Flute produces three tunes, and each one may cause different effects in Pokémon.Do you know that big green blob that was sleeping away? Well get the pokeflute and start tooting! Snorlax only wakes up when you use the poke-flute! And Jigglypuff , well Jigglypuff doesn't like the pokeflute being played while his performance! When i played the poke-flute while jigglypuff was singing, it got pretty angry! Be careful when playing the flute around him!
