64 Characters Code
This code opens up all of the characters in Multi-Player mode,
including 31 that are not available any other way.
This is a long code -- 10 steps -- and may take a few tries to enter
properly. You can do this code anywhere, but it's best to do it on
the Multi-Player Character Select screen while looking at the last
available character (Mishkin or Moonraker Elite). Then:
1. Hold the L and R Buttons and press C-Left (the left C button).
2. Hold the L Button and press C-Up.
3. Hold the L and R Buttons and press Left on the digital Control
Pad (NOT the Control Stick).
Note: Doing this will select a different character on-screen. This is
supposed to happen.
4. Hold the L Button and press Right on the Control Pad.
5. Hold the R Button and press Down on the Control Pad.
6. Hold the L and R Buttons and press C-Left.
7. Hold the L Button and press C-Up.
8. Hold the L and R Buttons and press Right on the Control Pad.
9. Hold the L and R Buttons and press C-Down.
10. Hold the L Button and press Down on the Control Pad.
No sound is made to indicate the code was successfully entered. If
you entered the code correctly, you will be able to select from
nearly double the characters you had access to before. Note that
this code will open all of the hidden characters, even if you haven't
finished the game. One drawback is, your game will not save this
code, so you'll have to re-enter it every time you want to use the
extra characters.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- THE GAME
GoldenEye 007 brings the world's most famous secret
agent, James Bond, to life on the Nintendo 64--
complete with license to kill. Using the full power of
the Nintendo 64, GoldenEye 007 puts you right into
007's tux and bow tie in a first-person action
spectacular. But there's more to it than just blowing
away bad guys-- you will have to accomplish a variety
of espionage objectives, like planting covert modems,
copying top secret documents, and diverting the
destructive course of the rogue GoldenEye satellite system.
GoldenEye 007 puts would-be double "O" operatives
through the paces in 20 challenging missions, each
with three different difficulty levels. With each
difficulty
level, the intelligence of your opponents increases and
the complexity and number of objectives grows.
Following and expanding on the story line of the hit
movie, GoldenEye 007's missions span the globe;
from a secret base in arctic Russia to the a giant
satellite antenna cradle suspended over the steaming
jungles of Cuba.
Rare's designers used photographs, movie
footage and actual blueprints of the sets to create the
complex level layouts. The result is one of the most
realistic 3-D, first-person games ever. GoldenEye
adds an unbeatable license to thrill.
Only the Nintendo 64's exclusive 64-bit technology
could handle the detailed, realistic, three-dimensional
environments of GoldenEye 007. Crawl through
ventilation ducts, explore secret passages, even drive
a tank-- you'll have full freedom to explore every
location of each mission. If you're not stealthy enough, you'll end up in a fire-fight with motion-capture guards who react with deadly force to the threat of any intruder. No matter how you approach a guard, you can be sure that everyone will end up gunning for
a piece of James Bond!
While a single agent can enjoy GoldenEye 007, the excitement multiplies if you have more than one plain controller involved. Grab a few extra N64 Controllers and hook
up with some friends for some spy hunting action in GoldenEye 007's multi-player mode. Up to four agents can enter one of 11 arenas for spy-versus-spy duel to the finish. You'll have Q's entire arsenal of weaponry at your disposal as you attempt to terminate your adversaries. With a variety of different missions available even in multi-player mode, GoldenEye 007 will challenge even espionage experts with hours of game play.
For the ultimate in immersive game play, though, you'll
need to equip your Nintendo 64 controller with an
optional Rumble Pak Controller Accessory (not
included). With the Rumble Pak, you'll actually feel the
sudden impact of an enemy 9mm round, the
concussion of each grenade explosion, and the unique
recoil of each weapon as you fire it. The Rumble Pak
Controller Accessory is now available separately for a
Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price of $19.95.
GoldenEye 007 began its quest for world video game domination on August 25th, 1997. After
selling over a million copies, the game has earned the honor of becoming a Player's Choice title
and now has a special Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price of $39.95.
