I'm researching my grandmother's family. Her father was William HUNSAKER, b. AR & her mother was Lula "Belle" AKINS. Their children are: Jacob, Minnie, Benjamin, Sally & Pearl. Pearl is my grandmother. She was born in 1901 &, supposedly, her family lived around Clayton. She married my grandfather, James Franklin SMITH in 1922 in Okemah OK. Her family lived in a small town called Bearden at the time. My grandmother told my uncle, her son, many stories of growing up & playing in the Kiamichi mountains when she was a child. Unfortunately, my uncle died a few months ago, but not before he told me where she grew up. Also, another of my relatives by the name of RICKETTS, supposedly was a wolf-hunter in the Kiamichis. Both of these families probably came from Marion Co. AR as I have found them on the 1880 census. Any help would be most appreciated! Please contact Barbara Price
