| Hello and welcome to my site! Here, you will find info. on me and links to gay resources. This first page is all about me and what I believe in, who I am, etc. I last updated this site in Jan. of 2000. It's now 2003, and here is all of my updated info., 3 years later!  BEING GAY!----JULY 2003 POST--- Many things have happened since I last poster 3 years ago. I'm now 18 years old, and out to my parents. I actually came out in April 2001 though. Since then, my parents have fully accepted my sister and I (she is a lesbian). It felt like such a relief to tell my parents, yet I still had to survive high school. Well, I just graduated in May 2003, and I'm out of there!! I'll be starting college in August, where I'll major in computer information systems. I still haven't really met any other gay guys at all, but here's the best news of all: Just this week I asked my mom if I could go to a local gay youth support group nearby (http://www.timeoutyouth.com), and she said "yes". I just got my license three weeks ago, so I can drive there too. So this Monday, on July 14th, I'll be going to finally talk and meet with other guys like me! I'm so excited. All these years of pain and isolation are coming to an end finally. For those of you out there that are still lonely, remember that it WILL get better. I never thought it would, but it is getting better daily! Thank you incredibly to all of the nice people that signed my guestbook. My sister is gay too, but she's 20. My parents accept her, but ya know, most parents aren't exactly thrilled about having a gay child. But what my parents don't know is that I'm gay TOO! For this reason, I have not come out yet, only to my sister. Sometimes, being gay is hard. I hear "faggot" all the time and see shows about gays, and see drag queens, and all this other stuff. A gay person can't be weak. You have to be strong. But being gay does have it's advantages. Some people are fine with it, but it doesn't help me in the least bit. I think it's a big waste of time, and yes, I'm atheist. I feel that the Bible is just a book...and it's so absurd anyway. It's almost like a children's book. It's full of myths, legends, fairytales, supernatural...I pretty much don't have room/time/or need for religion in my life, and never will. ----BELOW IS THE ORIGINAL POST FROM JAN. 2000--- I was grown up Catholic but I don't have an actual religion. I don't worship the devil or anything! I believe in some things, but I just don't understand the bible. How can someone say it's right? It is, if you think about it, just a book. It's fine if you believe it, but you can't say it's 100% true, because you don't really know for a fact! I don't understand why they make you put your hand on the bible in court, and why the ten commandments have to be posted everywhere, because not everyone is Christian. And for people who do strongly believe in the bible, how can being gay be a sin? It isn't. He also told Adam and Eve to populate the world, but that is incest, and isn't incest supposed to be a sin?? I could write a book too about how the world is going to end, and what is supposed to be right and wrong, and then someone discovers it years later, but that doesn't mean it's true! I have no problem with religion, but I don't see how someone can preach love and hate at the same time. And I don't see why someone has to make you believe what they believe and convert you to their religion. That is something we all must understand, that no matter how hard we try, everyone will still have different opinions! MY LIKES!---JULY 2003 POST--- I like(love) the following: Mexican food, remixing, Swiss mushroom hamburgers, music, people who are nice, computers and the Internet, sleeping, money, vacationing, Atlanta, New York, Hawaii, anything European, The Netherlands, music-making software, VST synthesizers, DJ gear, shopping for clothes, chatting online, being an activist, being myself, and having my own brain. ---ORIGINAL POST FROM 2000--- I like(love) the following: Rocky Road ice cream, pepperoni and sausage pizza, music, people who are nice, the internet, sleeping, homework-free nights, cats, cars, cake, vacationing, Atlanta, Boston, New York, world history, the beach, city-life, technology, computers, electronic music eqiupment, vintage sythesizers, turntables, DJ gear, clothes, JNCO, dogs, shopping, television, baggy pants, red hair!!, and money. MY DISLIKES!---JULY 2003 POST-- I dislike(hate) the following: sport utility vehicles, vans, stuck up people, prejudiced people, seafood, mashed potatoes, waiting in line, obnoxious straight couples, promiscuous gay men, unprotected sex, organized religion, living in North Carolina. ---ORIGINAL POST--- I dislike(hate) the following: the KKK, people who are stuck up and think they are rich, models, hetero guys who walk with their girlfriends like they are so cool, people who pick on others for hair color, glasses, etc., seafood, rednecks, mashed potatoes, sitting in the doctors office, Abercrombie and Fitch, Gap, Volvo station wagons, ALL minivans, cheese crackers, tea/coffeee, MTV when they play dumb game shows and stuff(like Road Rules) that have nothin' to do with music). MY BOYFRIEND!---JULY 2003 POST--- I still hold much of the same opinions as I have stated previously. I still have never met a guy who is openly gay like myself, but that will change soon. On July 14th, I'll be going to a gay youth group (http://www.timeoutyouth.com), and hopefully I'll make a lot of good friends...friends who won't judge me on my sexuality. In high school I felt like a total alien there, but now that I'm out, things will have to change. I've always been a little shy, and I want that to change too. Only I can do it, and I will succeed. I'm looking fowards to my life ahead of me. Maybe it isn't so bleak as I have thought before. I'll let you all now what happens... ---ORIGINAL POST--- I do not have a boyfriend. As I said before, I have never met another gay guy. I'm so lonely, I cry sometimes, but I guess I have to realize that someday, I WILL find a guy who loves me. I don't have any friends either. I mean I have friends, but they all say "fag" jokes and stuff, so they aren't "real" friends. Whoever he may be, my boyfriend MUST be loving and caring and get along good with me. I hate guys who like to show off and think they are so hot. I like a guy I can talk to. I also want him to like my red hair and not be sex-obsessed! It seems like all the guys I meet my age on the net are sex crazy. I mean sex is good(probably VERY good!) but it isn't everything. I hate it when a guy online asks you your penis length and wants to cyber! It's so annoying.
