Hi Everybody:
Good news and bad news
The 50 day moving average on the Naz, which has been on the rise since the 3rd week in May, is still holding. The volume on the Naz on Friday was the lowest since the short trading day on the day after T-Giving last year. The short-term Naz A/D lines seem to have possibly bottomed however the weekly A/Ds were pretty bad
so that is a conflicting signal IMO.
The A/D volume on the Naz was 2.8/4.3 and the NYSE was 2.8/5.8 for the week.
The technical indicators I watch dont look good overall except for a possible bottom. So Ill remain neutral and wait to see if the 50 sma holds. It now stands at 2131
while the 50 ema is 2132. If it doesnt, I can see dropping quite a bit down to major support at 2078.
For the week, the Dow Super Sectors were 2 up 8 down.
Top DJ Groups were Cosumer electronics +17.45% Tobacco + 4.245 Electrical Equipment +2.88%...Worst Groups were Non-Ferrous Metals -6.93% Aluminum -5.45% Platinum/Precious Metals -5.41%
A/D/U Issues for the week:
Nasdaq 1242/2022/99
NYSE 1415/2094/85
AMEX 363/724/63
The DJIA A/D/U was 14/16/0. The DJ Composite was 27/36/2 and the Major DJ Groups were 25/75/0.

***US home prices since 1980 have risen more slowly than the stock market. Homes in San Francisco have risen 7% a year, compared with a 10% annual rise in the S&P 500. however, that does not take into account the increased leverage opportunities in real estate.
***Real Estate Bubble
You are probably sick of hearing about it
I was going to make a long comment about all the opportunities I envision in about 1-2 years
But youve probably read it all somewhere else. However, has anyone noticed that the Insiders are bailing this year? I picked 10 stocks at random and checked the Insider Transactions on each at Yahoo Finance
