I walked bckt where Ryan was whattingwth Clara. She didn'thave to come but she wanted to. Since the ordeal we had becom better friends. Although we I didn't think we were in love. I was only 10 an she was only 11, we weren't ready to be in love. Were we?
"Hello here's your Butterfree!" Ryan said as we walked up to him, snaping me out of my loughts.
"Thanks." I said and took Butterfree. I noticed Ditto was helping a Wortoutle exercie and a Staryu and Poliwag were eating.
"Who's Pokmon are thoose?" I asked.
"Misty. Her and some guy named Derk are fighting eachother and she wanted me to get her Pokemon in better shape for the match." Ryan responded.
"Misty is fighting Derk?"
"In the semi-finals. The fight is being held tommorow not too far from here. About a hours walk from here. She said if I could get that Wortoutle to evlove she'd give me a badge so Ditto and me have been working extra hard on him."
"Really? Could you tell me which way it is to this city?"
Ryan pointed South, "Just keep walking that way and will not be able to miss it."
"Thanks!" I said as I started to run south with Clara right behind. I wanted to see this match.

It wasn't a very exiting trip to there. There wasn't anything to do when we got there either so we just got a hotel and called it a night. We woke up and went strait to the Pokmon Areana to see the match. There was two so we got tickets for both.
"Hello and welcome to the Semi-Finals! Are first match will be Markis vs. Hitven. They both are Flying Pokemon gyms but almost all there Pokemon have a secound type to it so this should be an interesting match! The matches, as you know, are 3 on 3s." The annocer said.
"Pidgeot go!" Markis said.
"Dragonite out!" Hitven said.
Pidgeot did quick attack against Dragonite but Dragonites Dragon rage made short work of Pidgeot.
"Go, Charizard!" Markis said.
Charizard's and Drangonite's flamethrowers clashed as they flow around the Areana. Drangonite tryed a quick attack but as it came close Charizard used Shalsh and Dragonite fell to the ground. While it was on the ground Charizard did flamethrower and beat Dragonite.
"Go Gyrados!" Hitven said.
Gyrados did hyper beam but Charizard dodged it. While Gyrados rested Charizard used a mega punch and knocked out Gyrados.
"Go ... Blastoise!" Hitven said.
"This is unusaul. Hitven has choicen a Pokemon out of his regular type. He must be desperate to knock down that Charizard."
Blastoise did water gun but Charizard dodged it by taking to the air. Charizard came back down with a wing attack and Blastoise fell off it's feet. Charizard used quick attack while it was still down. Blastoise, dazed, got up and used hydro pump as Charizard fainted.
"Go, Scyther."
Scyther came out and started using double teams followed by wave after wave of quick attack. It was too much for the already injured Blastoise and he fainted.
"Markis is the winner! Now! For the secound semi-final battle today! Misty vs. Derk. Misty only uses water types where as Derk's gym is the only one that uses every type. Misty was born a gym leader but Derk just became a gym leader acouple months ago. This should be an intersting battle. And remeber the winner takes on Markis next week in Seafom Islands." The annocer said.
"Blastoise go!" Misty said. I guess that means Ryan got the badge.
"Starmie out! Psywave!" Derk said.
Starmie did psywave and Blastoise was hurt by it. Starmie tryed finished Blastoise off with a tackle but he dodged it and used skull bash to knock out Starmie.
"Starmie shouldn't have been defeated that easly. Ryan must be as good as he says he is. You should try out your Butterfree in battle." Clara commented.
"Maybe. Right now all I'm thinking about is the match. Do you think Derk still has a chance without Starmie?" I asked.
"Yep. I forgot to tell you but when I talked to him in the hospital he said he captured a Ivysaur. Ivysaur should take care of whatever Misty has."
"Ivysaur go!" Derk said on cue.
Ivysaur did razor leaf then vine whip. Blastoise wasn't hurt enough to faint though. Blastoise did skull bash but Ivysaur dodged it and did solar beam. Blastoise couldn't resist it and fainted.
"Out, Starmie!" Misty said.
Starmie did tackle but Ivysaur hit it twice with razor leaf and Starmie fainted.
"Go Golduck!" Misty said.
Golduck did confusion and Ivysaur fainted without much resistance.
"Go Ditto. Transform into Parasect!" Derk said.
I pointed Dexter infront of it. "Parasect. A bug Pokemon. This Pokemon is a middle line Pokemon is useless in most battles but is the only Pokemon that can consitanly beat Psycic
Pokemon."
"Oh. So that's why he's using it."
Parasect/Ditto uses Leach life then sleep powder. The refery waited to see if Golduck was
going to wake up but when it didn't he delcared Derk the winner.
"Thanks for coming here today! on't miss the winner of the Derk, Markis match battle one
of the four Eliet Four members for the chance to be a member of the Eliet Four in Tormanta
three weeks from know! Tormanta is ofcourse only an hour away from here."
I got up and we went down to congradulate Derk.
"Good job Derk." I said once I was on the Areana floor.
"Sean? Are you better now?" Derk asked.
"Would I be here if I wasn't?"
"Derk? Did you get anymore Pokemon?" Clara asked.
"No. Just Ivysaur. Well I'll see you in three weeks then, hopefully." Derk said as he went to catch the next boat to Seafom Islands.

"It's around here somewhere." Ryan said. There was a place in Tormanta about three hours walk just outside of Tormanta where we had been informed that Pokemon of almost every type were catchable. But seeing as many people in Tormanta didn't care about Pokemon it was left deserted.
"Ditto." Ryan's Ditto said. Ryan thought it was a good idea to almost never put his Ditto in it's Pokeball so it was here with us.
We saw it! I place where Pokemon of different types were running around everywhere.
A Squirtle walked near us. "Ditto? Transform into Blastoise and weaken that Pokemon." Ryan said.
Blastoise used mega punch and Squirtle fell down. "Pokeball go!" Ryan said as it hit the Squirtle and sucked him into the ball.
"Well I caught a Squirtle." Ryan said picking up the ball, "What now?"
"I wanted to catch a Sandrew while were here." Clara said.
"And I want to capture a Charmander." I said.
"Well ... I could use a Pikachu so I guess will spilt up and find the Pokemon we want." Ryan said trying to be the leader.

I was looking for a Chamander I felt this pain go up my spine. Nothing problemly, I thought and countiuded looking. A charmander!
"Squirtle go! Water gun!" I said.
Charmander tryed to run away but my Squirtles water gun made it fall down weak. Chamander angry began rage attack. I told my Squirtle to do agilty and just wait till the Charmander wore down.
Charmander did flame thrower. Miss. He did bite. Miss. Charmander tryed fury swips but again missed. He tryed down and I threw a Pokeball and caught it.
"Nice work Squirtle." I said as I returned him and tryed to find the others.

I caught Pikachu when I heard a scream. I ran in it's direction and there was Sean with Clara. Sean had fallen down.
Running over to Sean and Clara I noticed that the screaming had stopped and that Sean had fallen unconscience.
"What happened." I said once I got there.
"I was looking for a Sandrew when I heard the scream and came over here. He couldn't say anything or stop from screaming. We should get him to the hospital."
There was a brief pause as she got out a Pokeball. "Fearow go!" She said onleasing a Fearow. Fearow flew us all to the hospital in Tormanta.

I woke up in a hospital bed. I was feeling okay now. I didn't know why I was screaming so much. The pain was great but I couldn't even breath because of my screaming. That's why you fainted, I thought. I noticed Clara was here.
"Hi." I said but Clara looked away.
"Sorry." She said sadly.
"What's wrong?"
"The ... the atrifical spine we gave you isn't being accepted by your body. The prosejure was a failure."
"... when will I be able to walk again."
"... there's a 94% chance you won't. This is my fault."
"How's it your fault?"
"I insected that they give you the artifical spine. They told me that your old spine would be able to let you walk but it won't last forever. It was problemly not going to last you another 10 years! So I said to try an artifical one even though it was still in the exparimental stage."
"Well what you did back then seemed like the right thing to do. I'm sure I'll still be able to walk!"
"There is a chance that your body might fully accept it with another operation but it's still another risk!"
"I'll have the operation. And I'm sure that I'll bet the odds."

I was put into a streater in the ER.
"Why are we having the operation here?" I asked.
"To be honest ... it'll save us time." The doctor said. I looked at Clara.
"Don't worry they mean recovering from the operation." She said enthusaticly.
"Well ... at least were not having it in the morge."
A doctor took out a needle. "This needle will put you to sleep for the operation."
I felt a slight pain but soon I was too tryed to keep my eyes open. But sleep would not come. It took awhile till the needle went into affect and about a minute before it did I felt a strong urge to throw up.
Don't! I ordered myself. It didn't matter, though, because I soon fell ashleep.

I awoke. I couldn't speak or anything. At least I'm not dead, I thought.
"Sean? If you can here me the operation didn't work. Were going to try a back up plan." Clara said.
"What?" I wispered still tired from the drug.
"Where going to try and give you reablitation. That basically means getting your musles strong enough to walk ... they don't need it but maybe it will help your body accept the new spine."
"k." I said as I fell back ashleep.

My eyes shote open. It had been 3 days since we started the reablitation plan and the doctors said it was working. But so far I didn't notice any differences. Were the doctors lying?
Clara walked in holding a box of pizza and munching on something. She seemed offly happy lately. Mabey the doctors weren't lying ....
"Does youst what pizzath" Clara said with her mouth full chearfuly.
"As long as your not offering me what's in your mouth." I said trying to get up but falled. Was I ever going to be able to walk again?
"Hereth ... *glup* ... Ah. Here's your pizza." Clara said finaly finishing what she had in her mouth. She Handed me apiece of pizza. I took it. I painfuly eat the pizza. She would help me if I asked but it was important to me some how that I do this myself.
After I was done Clara and me talked about some things. Nothing inportant. Just things.
She left then. Later that day Ryan and my Pokemon came (he agreed to take care of them intil I could do so myself). Ditto did soom transforming tricks to entertain me and then I had to go to reablitation. There I did all sorts of stuff and I found by the end of it I could move most of my body ... but still not walk.
He explained to me that my body forgot how to walk and he would have teach me. Great! More time spent in a hospital. At least the pain was almost gone now, though.

It had been another week. I was now walking on my own. I felt 100% but the doctors said I should stay on the reablitation program for a little longer. They said, though, I was the quickest person ever to recover from this type of thing and they even said I was going into the medical record books. So I guess not everything went bad.
Ryan visited me again but not with my Pokemon. He told me that Ditto was looking after them and he just came to quickly give me something. It was a pokeball. He explained that it was Charmander's and that he was in there. Aperately people weren't sure if the power was going to stay on with freezing rain comeing. The city was run by hydro electric power and, although, they had a back-up Pika power sorce it would do nothing for the heating and it'd probably get very cold in here.
"I tought it fire tail. Tell it to do fire tall and the flame on it's tail will grow. It should warm up the room." Ryan said as he left.
Just like Ryan predicted the electricty went out and soon it was very cold. Charmander did fire tail and it warmed up the room but I didn't get much sleep just the same.
The next day I went to reablitation and we did what we had to then I was told I could leave. I ran towards the door, of the hospital, happly but then I was stopped by someone. Someone I didn't want to see. Now or ever again.
