Together or Apart **Chapter 1 "Together At Last"**
The story starts out at night. Our trio *Pikachu!* Sorry, make that a quartet, are settling down for bed. Brock is already asleep, Misty is writing in her diary, and Ash is talking to pikachu about pokemon battle strategies. Misty starts writing:

Dear Diary
It's me again. Lately I have been trying to hint to Ash that I like him, but he is so dense he doesn't get it. I just wish Ash would feel the way about me the same way I feel about him. It would be great if we were a couple. I just wish I had the courage to say those three simple words: I Love You.

Misty Waterflower

Misty finished writing and went to bed. Pikachu then went to sleep. Ash was lookin for something to do when he spotted Misty's diary sticking slightly out from under her pillow. He tiptoed over to her and slid her diary out from under her. He then opened it to the last written date and read what Misty had just written.
"I can't beleive she likes me!" Ash wispered to himself.
He slipped the diary back under her pillow and went to bed. The next day, Ash, Misty, and Brock were about to leave to go to the next town. They were all packed up and ready to leave.
"Brock, could you go ahead? I have to talk to Misty."Ash asked.
"Sure." Brock said and then left.
After Brock left Ash began to talk.
" Um, Misty, I uh, how do I put this? I um, kinda,"
Just then, Ash grabs Misty and kisses her. At first, Misty was surprised. Then she began to loosen up and kiss him back. Finally, the both feel the need to come up for air, so the stop kissing.
"I love you, Misty." Ash says. "I love you too, Ash." Misty says, surprised. " I know I shouldn't have, but last night, I read the last page of your diary. That is how I found out you like me. I hope your not mad." Ash says happily that He's with Misty.
"I'm kinda mad at you for that, but as long as it got us together, I'm happy you read it, as long as you promise to never read it again."Misty said to Ash.
"I won't." Ash says to Misty.
Ash and Misty Kiss again, then they katch up with Brock. When the meet Brock, He sees Ash and Misty holding hands.
"So you two finally got together."Brock says to the embarassed couple.

**Chapter 2 "The Big fight"** Ash, Misty and Brock *PIKACHU!* Sorry, pikachu. I keep forgetting about you. Anyways, they are all at Ash's house. He got a letter from Indego Plateau saying that that he has been invited back. Everyone is going to head there the next morning.
"Time for bed." Brock said as he entered Ash's room.
Ash gave Misty a quick kiss(va! va! voom!) and shut off the lights.
The next day, everyone packed up their stuff and left. They had been traveling all day when they finally reached a big gate with "Indego Plateau" on it. When they checked into a hotel, they found a note that said they were invited to a pre-tournament party. They all started to get ready. Ash and Brock were all ready, but Misty hadn't even started yet.
"You two go on ahead. I'll meat you at the party." Misty yelled from the bathroom.
Ash and Brock headed to the party. Brock was out asking fo a dance with some girl he doesn't know(like usual). Ash was waiting for Misty to show up. He was sitting at a table when a girl he didn't know came up to him.
"What are you doing all alone?" The girl asked.
"I'm waiting for my date."Ash replied.
"Why don't we dance." The girl said.
The girl grabbed Ash's arm and pulled him onto the dance floor.When she pulled him up, he tripped and fell into her arms. Just then......
"Ash Ketchum! You two-timing, double-dealing, cheating little.....Twerp!" Misty yelled and slapped Ash. Then she ran off.
Misty kept running until she started crying. Then she stopped and a stairway and started crying more.
"Ash was really liking your absences." Someone said.
Misty looked up and saw none other thatn... Gary!
"Ash has been dancing and kissing every girl here since he came." Gary said. "It can't be." Misty said between sobs." Ash said he loves me."
"You can't believe everything tells you.
Misty got up and ran away. Then she heard another familiar voice.
"Misty. I have to tell you what happened." Brock said between gasps." What you saw wasn't what really happeded. After we left, Ash just sat at a table in the corner of the room waiting for you. Then a girl went up to him and asked him to dance. He didn't want to, but the girl pulled him to the dance floor. Just as he got up, he tripped and fell into her. That is when you came in."
"Why would you lie for Ash?" Misty asked madly. "Gary told me everything. He said that Ash was dancing and kissing every girl."
"Misty, Gary was always lying. Why would you believe him now?" Brock asked.
" I don't know. It's just, what I saw and what Gary said. I put it all together and thought Ash was cheating on me." Misty said.
" Misty, I think you should make up with Ash. He wasn't cheating on you. I saw everything." Brock said.
Misty headed back to the party. When she walked in, nobody noticed. Misty asked Brock if he would go get Ash and have him come over. When Ash came over, Misty came out. Ash almost yelled at her, but he held it back.
" What do YOU want?" Ash asked angrily.
"Ash, I'm sorry. I should have talked to you instead of running. Please, don't hate me for yelling at you. I'm sorry." Misty said sadly.
" Why should I forgive you? You just came in, saw me trip and fall on some girl I don't even know, yell at me, and run off, and you expect me to forgive you?" Ash said angrily.
"I'm really sorry. I just saw you with some girl and I got jealous. PLEASE, forgive me!" Misty said franticly.
" I didn't come all this way just to break up with you." Ash said.
Ash Stood up and kissed Misty. They stood there kissing for what seemed like hours. Then they decided to go back to the party. Eventually, Misty and Ash got married. They had a son named Tim(see "The Next Ketchum"), but not before more problems.
