I was exicted. It had been a while since I had the cance to get my last badge. I had already come along way in the past month.
Had it only been a month since I started my training? I never realized how much I had accomplished in so little time.
I turned to my friends, "Any last minute tips guys?"
"Yah." Clara said, "This guy uses electrick Pokemon so Pidgeotto and Squirtle airn't good chooses. It's a piety you'll problemly have to use them though ..."
"Why?"
"Because lately he's only been doing 6 on 6 and you only have 6 Pokemon."
That made my heart sink. I knew I couldn't go in there knowing I was going to loose.
"Well then I should catch some new Pokemon." I suggested then looked to Derk. Clara may be a better trainer then Derk but he was truely better at the statigy part of the game. He would know if I needed new Pokemon.
Derk shrugged. "You might be able to beat him with your current Pokemon but a rock-based Pokemon couldn't do you any harm. I wanted to catch a Dugtrio while we were here anyways so I guess we could all go."
"Count me out." Clara said, "I'm not going to Diglets cave I'm heading over to the outserts of town to catch a Drowzee. I've always wanted a psycic Pokemon and I'm not going to pass an opprtunity."
Derk looked sad but he reloncantly said, "Fine will meet at the Pokemon Center at about 9."
"K." Clara said as she left.

I spotted a Drowzee about ten yards away.
"This one's going to be mine." I said to myself.
The Drowzee reading my mind started to leave. I couldn't let it escape!
"Magmar, Poliwrath go!" I said.
Poliwrath body slamed Drowzee and then Magmar fire balsted him. Drowzee Disabled them both and did mimic to learn fire blast. It then fire blasted Magmar and Poliwrath and then used confustion to get them to fight eachother.
"Dam! Chansey go! Break up Magmar's and Poliwrath's fight." I yelled
Chansey did just that and soon Drowzee was being attacked by a watergun, fire blast and egg bomb. Drowzee couldn't stand it and used telport to get away.
But it didn't go far enough and soon we were after him again. I saw a Sperow and throw a Pokeball at it. This wasn't a very strong Sperow and was caught without a fight.
Meanwhile the Drowzee countuned to do teleport to get out of the way of Poliwrath, Magmar and Chansey.
"Sperow out. Use your whirled wind attack to stop Drowzee from teleporting!" I instructed.
Sperow did just that and Drowzee was caught in a whirlwind.
I though a Pokeball and Drowzee was caught. Finaly!
Now that I caught a Drowzee I had the hole day to myself and nothing to do.
Well I already caught a Sperow and Drowzee today so mabey I'll just changlenge Lt. Surge. If I do then I'll have some tips for Sean and I new badge. I already have 12 and I'm mosty just waiting for the Pokemon Legue in two years.
The Pokemon Lague happens every 4 years. Just like the olypics. It would be my first Pokemon League apperance but I was sure to win. Derk already told me he didn't want to be in the Pokemon League. He wanted to be a gym leader and maybe someday a member of the Eliet Four which was a tough thing to do.
There could only be at any given time 20 gym leaders and 20 gyms. To be a gym Leader you must first have earned at least 18 badges and have a match with a gym leader of your choice. You would fight him three on three and you must use only Pokemon that are of the gym's offical type. The winner gets to be the gym leader of that gym.
After your a gym leader you can enter the tornement to be an Eliet Four member where you can use any type of Pokemon to battle with on a three on three match. The gym leader that wins is aloud to battle an Eliet Four member of his choice and if he wins he gets to take his place.
Not an easy thing. That's problemly why the Eliet Four members are so good.
The Eliet Four origines a tounement once every 4 years for people that are still Pokemon Trainers to battle in. It's called the Pokemon League. The winner of the tournament gets to battle a member of the Jounor Four for his place.
A Jounor Four member isn't as tough as a Eliet Four member but still one of the best trainers.
In the Jounor Four there's a leader the leader can be changled by any other member of the Jounor Four for his place. If a Jounor member can reemane the leader for 3 years (and aside from an Ash Ketchum nobody ever has) he may changle an Eliet Four member for there spot. This is the road I want to take.
Through my deep thought I didn't even realize that I had reached the gym. I walked inside ready to battle.

Me and Derk had beeen searching for Dugtrio since we got here about an hour ago.
"How much longer is this going to-"
"There!" Derk said interupting me.
Two Dugtrio about a mile apart bearly visible to us.
"You take the one on the right. I'll go for the one on the left." I instructed as we went after them.

I got to my Dugtrio. I wounder if Sean's reached his yet. He's in much worse shape then I am. He proved it not to long ago when we were attack by that Arbok.
"Starmie go!" I yelled. Once I got this guy I could changle Lt. Surge so I could get my 18th badge. I had been going from city to city getting badges up intil I meet Sean. I only had three Pokemon but I trained them well. I was a firm believer in qualty over quantity. But a would need alot of Pokemon of the same type to changle a gym leader for a gym.
Starmie did watergun against Dugtrio and it fainted. I caught it.
I was realizing that becoming a gym leader wouldn't be so long from now. And that would meen I'd be stuck in a city and wouldn't be able to fallow Clara and Sean anymore. It was too bad that I couldn't follow them but I now if we went are seperate ways that I'd problemly see them again.
I headed out to get Lt. Surge's badge.

I walked in the gym and noticed that Clara was already there. She problemly wanted to test her new Pokemon.
"Seeing as there's two of you now I guess both of your matches will be 1 on 1s." Lt. Surge said.
Clara stepped into the areana. "I'll go first." Clara said.
Lt. Surge nodded and said, "Very well. Electrobuzz go!"
"Magmar go!"
Why didn't she try out Drowzee on him? I thought, "Maybe she wanted to try him out on an easier trainer first.
Magmar did firespin and Electrobuzz was hurt badly. Magmar then did fury swipes and Electrobuzz fainted.
"Here's your badge miss." Lt. Surge said as he handed her a badge.
I stepped forward now. "Dugtrio go!" I annoced.
"Voltrob go!" Lt. Surge said.
Dugtrio used dig and the battle was over. I had just won my 18th badge. I could now changle a gym leader for there possition. And I knew just the gym, The Celdon City Master's Gym.
That's what it was called. It was next to the Celdon City Grass Gym. The type at the Masters Gym was mixed. It was the only gym that the gym leader could use any type of Pokemon. Because of this it was the hardest and one of the more popular gyms now-a-days.
Because of my wide verity of Pokemon I should be great against him. And Celdon City was are next stop. I couldn't wait. Although I knew I would miss my friends ...

I caught a Dugtrio and this time I was ready for my match.
As we walked in Derk seem away in a distance. He was upset about something but I didn't know what.
"Hello. I reconize two of you. You two won against me." Lt. Surge said, "But that was because it was a one on one. With your friend it will be a six on six. Voltrob go!"
"Use Geodude." Derk suggested.
"Go Geodude." I said.
Geodude did semic toss against voltrob but voltrob came back with a tackle followed by a quick attack. This Voltrob knew more then just electrick attacks. It then did body slam after body slam and Geodude was looking weak. In a last desperate attempt Geodude did mega pumch and beet Voltrob.
Geodude looked funny. I soon could tell why. It was elvoving into Graveller. Once he was done elvoving Lt. Surge sent out Electobuzz but he was beaten by Graveller.
"This is going to be easy." I said to myself.
"Is that so?" Lt. Surge said overhearing me, "You may be up 6-4 but I'm not out of the game yet!"
He threw out a Voltrob and told it to explodode. It did. Fainting my Graveller in the proccess.
"That was a mistake! Now it's 5-3 for me and Graveller fainting didn't hurt me much!" I said trying to intimidant him.
"We shall see." He said. "Zapdos go!"
"What's that?" I said and pointed Dexter to it.
Dexter, "Zapdos. The lighting bird. It is very rare and tough to get down."
"Well, Pidgeotto go!" I said. I realized I didn't have enough depth in my Pokemon to be a very good trainer. Dispite the fact that I recently caught a new Pokemon I obivouly still needed more.
The two birds tryed to quick attack eachother. Pidgeotto dodged Zapdos's moves and hit him with gust after gust. Zapdos flow high and Pidgeotto flowled. They then dived. The won that went down first could do his attack on the other.
Zapdos was in the lead but I had trained my Pidgeotto to be fast and Pidgeotto was gaining "ground" on Zapdos. Pidgeotto was soon ahead of Zapdos and would obivously win.
"Zapdos? Pull up and thundershock Pidgeotto!" Lt. Surge instructed.
Zapdos did what Lt. Surge said and my Pidgeotto was falling but now because it didn't have the strength to fly.
"Pidgeotto soften your landing using gust." I suggested.
Pidgeotto did just that andwas soon on the ground. He wasn't fainted but ovouisly badly hurt.
"Pidgeotto were going to try to go out with a bang. Do quick attack after quick attack intill one of you have fainted.
He did just that. For a while it looked like he was going to beat Zapdos but eventualy Zapdos dodged one of his attack and thunderbolted Pidgeotto fainting him.
"Caterpie out! String shot!" I instructed.
It obayed and because Zapdos was barely consence from his last battle it fainted him.
"Voltrob out! Exploded." Lt. Surge said.
Both Pokemon fainted.
"3 to 1 Lt.Surge." I reminded him.
"Rauichu go!" Lt. Surge said.
"Dugtrio go!" I said. I had caught that Dugtrio for a quick win and that is what it was going to give me.
Dugtrio did dig and Rauichu fainted.
"Alright. Here's your badge." Lt. Surge said, "I've been giving out too many of these lately I have to train my Pokemon some more."
I took the badge and we left.
"Now where to?" I asked.
"In Celdon City there's two gyms. A gym with all kinds of Pokemon and a gym with just grass." Derk informed us, "And there's a farry that can take us there."
"Okay then that's the way to go." I said as we headed for the farry. I had a feeling Derk wasn't telling us something about Celdon but if he didn't tell us it must not be inportant. So I left it at that.
