| This page is ment to shine some light on the gold and silver versions that are coming soon. I did some reaserch of it but I'm not 100% that my knowledge is correct. The main problem is the chances that they might make to the English Version. At anyrate most of what I say is true for the Japanise Version of gold and silver. Topic 1: When do they come out? Last I heard it was in September but you can't rely on that. Where I lived te Yellow Version was a full 3 months later then it was suppose to be for. Topic 2: What new fetures will it have? This is the big thing aout it, the new fetures. Here are the ones I'm told it has but no all of hem have been confermed. The ones that are for sure have a star beside them: *1. A new three starting Pokemon to choose from 2. A map twice as big *3. A male and female for every different kind of Pokemon *4. You get a Togipy *5. 250 Pokemon in total 6. You can know have lendary Pokemon like Pikablu and Mew *7. New gym leaders *8. More gym leaders 9. More then one Pokemon League to enter *10. New adventers *11. Breeding your own baby Pokemon 11. New rivals *12. New features like calling your mom via cell phone 13. More misteries *14. Night and Days *15. Certain Pokemon can only be caght at night. 16. Ect. Topic 3: Breeding your Pokemon Most of what I say here is just speculation. I think that you tell two Pokemon to breed with a specail item like in FF7. They then have a baby that shares the mother and father's strength as well as there weaknesses. So breeding Pokemon is an opportantiny. If you breed proporly you should be able to get Poemon stronger (stat wise) then would generaly be in a breed. But you would also have to be careful. If you have two Pokemon mate that are good Pokemon but are weak in one, and the same, area, e.g. speed, then your Pokemon will be even weaker in that area. So if you have two Pokemon mate that are advetage in most things but strong in Attack and weak in Defence your going to end up with a Pokemon that can hurt your opponates but can't take much damage before fainting. Topic 4: Ash or Misty? It turns out that you can be Ash or Misty in the game. But how? Form the walkthroughs I looked at it doesn't seem like you get a choice. But maybe one version you have to be Ash and in the other verion you have to be Misty. Topic 5: Togipy I know you get Togipy and apperantly he's not suppose to be a bad Pokemon either. You have to pick him up somewhere and walk around waiting till he hatches. There's only one move I heard he can do though, Metrinome (this move randomly picks any move in the game and does it). Topic 6: Pikablu I've heard that all you have to do to get this Pokemon is catch a Pikachu and don't give it a thunderstone. Eventauly it evloves form Pikachu into Pikablu. What this new Pokemon does, though, is still unknown to me. Topic 7: Time Somehow the games suppose to know what time it is so it knows when it's day or night.
