Note: The following summary of Wicca was written merely to inform those interested in finding out what Wicca is. In no way was it an attempt to convert anyone or force the ideas of Wicca on them, as that is against Wiccan tradition. Wicca is a modern, earth-based and nature oriented religion, based upon the ancient Western European, pre-Christian shamanic traditions. Worship takes place during the change of the seasons and the full and new moons. Wicca as no strict set of rules, and no "Bible" to follow. It can be practiced either in a coven or as a solitary. There are many types of Wicca, some including certain pagan traditions and other containing different beliefs. I happen to worship the Great Goddess herself, but there are many Gods/Goddesses that can be worshiped depending on the type of Wicca it is. Although some worship different ones all different Gods/Goddess are considered a smaller part of the Great Goddess. Most importantly Wicca has nothing to be with Satan/Devil worship. Seeing as how Satan is not even recognized by Wiccans, it would be hard to worship him. Basically, it has nothing to do with dark energy and should not be considered evil.
