Ashcroft USED the Johnson miscarriage of justice, illegal trial to keep Mo. Supreme Court Judge Ronnie White from being a U.S. District Judge.
No matter what your position is regarding the death penalty you should be concerned that Ashcroft's mob machine plans to execute a Vietnam vet January 9, 2002 at Potosi, Missouri. James R. Johnson's name was heard around the world in Ashcroft's coronation hearings because it was his case that Ashcroft used to proclaim Ronnie White was soft on crime. Read the excerpt from The Kansas City Star August 13, 1999 on the media writings CLICK HERE, noting the Moniteau County, Mo. Sheriff, whose wife was supposedly shot and killed by Johnson December 9, 1991 (while Ashcroft was Governor of Missouri), urged then U.S. Senator Ashcroft to stop White's nomination as a US District Judge.

The Sheriff who was shot and killed December 9, 1991 was from neighboring Cooper County and according to information provided he was trying to help clean up the corruption in the area and also was not a racist. Moniteau County also is adjacent to Pettis County, home of the Mo. State Fair(and billions of dollars of money laundering) and heart of a key hub of Ashcroft and associates drug trafficking and other organized crime. (While U.S. Senator Ashcroft named Pettis County Sheriff, Gary Starke, to a special committee he had on juvenile crime. And in 2001 U.S. Senator Bond recommended Starke as U.S. Marshal, even though it was a well known fact he was under investigation for numerous crimes of his own. Amazingly Starke sent a blatant racist e mail to numerous persons and ultimately asked Bond to withdraw the nomination. But, the racism just as pointed out regarding the Ronnie White nomination was very obvious once again from an Ashcroft comrade.)

Cooper County was also important to the Mo. Organized Criminal Enterprise because a gaming operation was on the planning board and has now opened.

Even those opposed to the death penalty are proclaiming Johnson DID kill four people even though there really is no documented evidence that is a fact. (Johnson's obviously ineffective, bought and paid to sell him out attorney, actually told the jury there was no dispute he did kill 4 people. Then he tried to base the insanity defense on facts that could not be proven versus emphasizing the expert testimony or investigating the rest of the story and probability someone else indeed did at least part of the killing or had Johnson under some sort of mind control trance. There was a motive for others to in the least kill the Cooper County Sheriff.

Questions that should have been part of his defense include: Why were key people with the Mo. Highway Patrol in Moniteau County that day PRIOR to (during) the shootings? Why was the stepdaughter, Dawn Becker, then 17, getting what the paper termed harassing (perhaps threatening) phone calls and what did Sheriff Jones tell Johnson and his wife when they went to him around December 1, 1991 and asked what could be done? Why wasn't the expert witnesses testimony regarding post traumatic stress disorder acceptable in Mo. when it had helped other Vietnam vets?

The Special Prosecutor on the case assigned out of the Mo. Attorney General's office, Kenny Hulshof, has now been promoted to Congress. Hulshof has always been known for lies and manufacturing evidence. I had the opportunity in 1996 to personally confront him about this and some other cases he had made a mockery of our justice system. Although he had big tears in his eyes prior to my finishing what I had to say and was very, very polite to me the rest of the times we were on the campaign trail together he never could respond beyond, "I thought I did what was right." I told him he would face eternity one day answering for his lies. What is even more bizarre in the Johnson case is although the people fed up with the Ashcroft-Blunt-Griffin-Webster era voted the Republicans out of statewide offices for the 1992 election. (Griffin and Webster both went to federal prison and Blunt's brother was convicted of bank fraud while Ashcroft's nephew was found guilty of operating a huge marijuana garden across from a university.) However, the new attorney general, Jay Nixon, was soon taken over by the same Mo. Organized Criminal Enterprise (some say due to campaign debts he had) and kept thugs like Hulshof on and has continued to refuse to do justice in cases such as that of James R. Johnson or any of the miscarriages of justice he originally inherited from the Ashcroft regime. (Fortunately prior to his death, Governor Mel Carnahan, did intervene to help some innocent people such as Johnny Lee Wilson, who suffered over 9 years of false imprisonment for a murder Ashcroft's "friend" caused. Governor Holden has shown no inclination or concern thus far to see that justice is served and has repeatedly proven to be a mere puppet on a string for Bush and Ashcroft.)
You will note in the excerpts from the media CLICK HERE, Mo. Highway Patrolman Harvey Oberweather gave conflicting testimony to an unnamed witness from the negotiations team (and also referred to as a member of the MHP). Oberweather was quite busy February, 1993, when the Johnson trial was held. Going on at the same time in Joplin, Mo. was the court ordered jury trial of Stacy Simpson, who Ashcroft's regime had sent to adult prison at the age of 15 and tortured her for 44 months WITHOUT a trial, claiming she murdered her mother in Bates County, Mo. September 3, 1985. Oberweather had covered up that drug trafficking related murder, which today remains unsolved. The Jasper County jury found her NOT GUILTY and Oberweather and all the other liars in that case looked like fools. Oberweather works out of the Lee's Summit Mo. Highway Patrol headquarters, which sources tell us also functions as a funnel for stolen cars and car titles among other things.

But, isn't Johnson Guilty? Even if he is, HE DID NOT GET A FAIR TRIAL and there were one or more motives for others to kill the Cooper County Sheriff
Did Johnson kill anyone December 9 or 10, 1991? Perhaps. Perhaps NOT AT ALL.

1991 was the year of Bush I's Persian Gulf War-Oil Investment scheme and yes, there was cause for stress for Vietnam vets. However, there was also a major network of organized criminals operating to strengthen their regime. What happened to some of the other players in the Johnson case? Well, Moniteau County Associate Circuit Judge, Gary Schmidt, who granted Johnson's divorce in spite of questionable service upon Johnson, and who kept the land so the state could ultimately take it for Johnson's legal fees and prison room and board, now serves as corporate counsel for Missouri's missing Secretary of State, "Lt" Matt Blunt (son of NATO operative China's Congressman nd "Chief Deputy Majority Whip" Roy Blunt, nephew of Ronald L. Blunt who pled guilty to bank fraud while Roy Blunt was still Mo. Sec. of State and Ashcroft Mo. Governor). Counsel for the Corporations division of the Mo. Secretary of State's office has almost unlimited power and without the secretary of state even present to oversee day to day operations WHO REALLY IS IN CHARGE? (Jr. Blunt claims to be in an undisclosed location in the UK with the US Navy and continues to draw his excessive pay as Mo. Sec. of State contrary to Mo. law. Roy Blunt is planning to be the next "majority whip" and eventually move into the Speaker of the House position.) And as previously noted the state prosecutor has now been promoted to Congress. Since I haven't really completed thorough research on the case I am unaware of other rewards or power grabs.
