AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE SALARY FOR THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF NORTH RIDGEVILLE.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of North Ridgeville deems it necessary to establish the Mayors salary; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of North Ridgeville desires to repeal Ordinances No. 3476-96, No. 3191-96 and No. 2814-2001;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH RIDGEVILLE, LORAIN COUNTY, OHIO:
SECTION 1. That Ordinances No. 3476-96, No. 3191-96 and No. 2814-2001 be and the same are hereby repealed and shall no longer be in full force and effect.
SECTION 2. That effective January 1, 2001, the salary for the Mayor is hereby set at $71,282.79 per calendar year.
SECTION 3. That effective December 1, 2003, the salary for the Mayor is hereby set at $$63,426.45 per calendar year.
SECTION 4. That from and after the effect date of this Ordinance, effective January 1, 2004 the annual wages as set forth in this Ordinance shall annually include a cost of living adjustment in accordance with the U. S. Department of Labor Statistics Consumer Price Index
SECTION 5. Any ordinances or parts thereof in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby expressly repealed.
SECTION 6. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council concerning and relating to the adoption of this Ordinance were conducted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all deliberations of this Council and any of its committees that resulted in such formal action were in meetings open to the public in accordance with legal requirements, including Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code.
SECTION 6. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after the earliest period allowed by law.

T 164-2001 An ordinance authorizing the Mayor to advertise for bids and enter into a contract according to law and in a manner prescribed by law for the south Barton Road reconstruction from Center Ridge Road southeast to the corporation line, to consummate a zero percent interest loan agreement with the Ohio Public Works Commission, and to negotiate and enter into a contract with a consulting engineering firm for plans, specifications, and construction phase services for same, not to exceed $180,000.00.
