Kokiri forest
This game starts in Kokiri Forest. Before you start your adventure you have to find a sword and shield. Find Saria and talk to her. After this conversation make your way to the elevated area to the left of Link’s house. Walk past the Know it all Brothers house. There is a small hole you have to crawl into. There is a boulder there. Try to pass it and there should be a path and a chest. In the chest you will find the Kokiri’s sword. Exit here and then equip the sword. Use the sword to cut grass and get at least 40 rupees to buy the Kokiri’s Shield. Then when you are fully equipped go to the guy guarding the path to the Deku Tree. His name is Mido. He will let you pass so you can save the Deku Tree.

The Deku Tree
Speak with the Great Deku Tree, and after he tells you about his curse you will go inside his body. Walk forward until you reach a vine. Climb it up and go to your right. There should be a large chest. Open it and you will have the dungeon map. Now keep going to your right and there will be a door. Go through it. There should be a bush guy. Defeat it by using your shield. Go by him while Z-Targeting it and he will give you a tip and the doors will be unlocked. Go through the door and there should be a block there. Jump on it and it should fall, but don’t worry. There should be a chest when you go to the other side. Open it and there will be the Fairy Slingshot. Now equip the Slingshot and hit the ladder on the other side with it. Go across to the main room where you came in from. Now kill the Skulltulas on the vines. After you kill them all with your slingshot go up the vines up then go to your left side, and jump down. Go across until you see a door. If you want the compass it is behind that door. When you go in there will be a button. Push it and three platforms will pop up. Go across, but you must hurry, because the platforms will come down. There will be a chest and in it there will be the compass. You get out of the room by lighting up the torch with a Deku Stick Now when you get out jump down in the middle where the web is on the bottom. The web should break, and you will fall down. Now go to the right platform. Push the button there and the torch will light up. Use your Deku Stick and burn it. Go across to the other platform and burn the web. Go through and there should be a bush defeat him and use your slingshot at the switch on top of the door to open it. In the next room jump in the water, and to the far left of the spikes dive down to the button. The water will go down and you should go on the moving platform. Go to the other side and kill the Skulltula. Push the block under the door, and jump up the block. Go through the door and light up both of the torches, and go through the door. Then you will be in a room with 2 webs and a torch. You must light up a Deku Stick and burn both of the webs. Go through the one with the small cave. Push the block over there into the water. Now you could go on the other island faster, and light the web on the floor. Go to the other side and light up the Deku Stick. Now go to the other island and burn the web on the floor by doing a jump attack. After you fall into the water go to shore and there will be three bushes. Kill them in this order. First kill the middle one. Then the one on your right. And the last one on your left. He will tell you how to kill Queen Gohma, and now you will have to beat her.

Queen Gohma- To beat Queen Gohma is really easy. All you have to do is when her eyes turn red hit her with your Slingshot, and then with your sword when she’s stunned. When she is climbing you could Z-Target her and hit her in the ceiling so she falls down. Then after your done a blue light will pop out and also a Heart Container. Get the Heart Container and then into the blue light. Now the Great Deku Tree will speak to you and give you the first Spiritual Stone: The Kokiri’s Emerald! Now you could leave the Forest. You will get the Fairy Ocarina by Saria.

Hyrule Field
Now this is where you will meet Kapeora Gabeora, the owl. He will tell you that Hyrule Castle is straight ahead. You must run there quickly because it will turn night quickly. If you don’t make it there fast enough wait until morning and kill the skeletons.

Hyrule Market-
Here it is very peaceful. Talk to the little red headed girl. She will tell you that her Father is in the castle and she is waiting for him. All you have to do now is go out to the other side were the Castle is then back into the market. Then go to the Castle Field again and there should be Malon, the little girl. Talk to her again and she will give you a Weird egg. Now climb up the vines and go into the hole in the bridge and go out the door. Now is the hard part. You have to pass the first guard by going to your right. Pass carefully. Then you have to go on the left wall. You have to climb it. Then jump into the moat. Now get out and use your chicken and wake up the guy over there (Talon). He will get out of the way and now you could push the boxes. Push them into the area where the water fountain is so you could jump over. Go through the tiny cave and now you will be in the Castle Courtyard.

Castle Courtyard
Now you have to pass the guards here. After you pass them you will be with Zelda! She will ask you questions. Just say yes to everything she says. She will tell you a story. After the story she will give you a letter. Then you will meet Impa. She will teach you the first song. She will teach you Zelda’s Lullaby. After she talks to you, you must go back to Kokiri Forest and into the Lost Woods.

Lost Woods
Now you have go to the Lost Woods. All you have to do is go to your left when you pass the bridge there. Go climb up the vines there. When you are there you must go in this direction: Right, Left, Right, Left, Straight, Left. Now you will enter the Sacred Forest Meadow.

Sacred Forest Meadow
Here you must first kill the Wolfo in your path so you could open the gate. There is a sort of a maze you have to go through. It is so easy I don’t need to explain it. Then you will be by Saria. She’ll teach a new song: Saria’s Song. Now you need to go to the center of Hyrule, Lon Lon Ranch.

Lon Lon Ranch

Over here is the place where you get your first bottle. Lon Lon Ranch is in the middle of the map of Hyrule Field. When you reach there it should be morning. Go to the door on your left. There will be Talon asleep. Just talk to him and you will play a game. You have to catch all three of the Magic Cuccos. You only have a limited time so you have to hurry. After you win he will give you a sample of Lon Lon Milk in a bottle. Now get out of there and go to the area with the horses. Malon should be in the middle of the fences. Talk to her and take out your Ocarina. She will teach you another song: Epona’s Song. Now go to Kakariko Village, the place Impa told you about.

Kakariko Village
When you arrive there are many things to do. First you must go to the Graveyard. It is on the top right corner of the map. Go all the way to the front of the huge grave and play Zelda’s Lullaby on the Triforce Symbol. Go in the grave. Now kill all the bats in the room. Go through the door and pass those mummy guys. If you press (A) continuously you could escape their grasp. Go and read the tomb. You will learn a new song: The Sun’s Song. Now you could freeze the mummies and turn night to day or the other way around. Get out of the grave and pull the second grave on the last row of tombs. (You must do this at night.) Open the chest and you will get the Hylian Shield (Equip it). Now go into Kakariko Village. Use the letter princess Zelda gave you. Show it to the guard that is blocking the path to the Death Mountain Trail. He will chat awhile and let you through. Now you are going to go through Death Mountain to get the second Spiritual Stone.

Goron City
Go up the mountain and pass the goron sleeping. go up till you see a huge door. Go through it and you are in gorron city. go down to the last floor and play Zelda's Lullaby in front of the door. Go in and Play Saria's Song right in front of the goron. He will talk too you and you will get GOron's Bracelet. now get out of here and to Death Mountain Trail. Go to your right side and there will be a goron with a bombflower on itss side. Pick up the flower and throw it over the fence. Now you can enter Dodongo's Cavern

Dodongo’s Cavern

First you must blow up the wall in front of you with the bomb Flower. Quickly now when the pillar goes up, jump to the middle one. Now when the right pillar goes up jump across it to the right side. Pick up the bomb flower and break the right wall (the one on the right of the Beamo). Before you go in that room, bomb the other wall. It will have the Dungeon map in it. Now go through the door and kill the Baby Dodongo’s and pull the statue on the blue button. Go to the next room. Pass the two bats in this room to the one with the Lizalfos. Kill them and go through the door. Go to the room with the big Dodongos. Burn your Deku Stick and light up all three of the torches. If you want you could kill the Dodongos by hitting them on the tail. When you’re in the next room push the button on the floor. Now the door on the other side is unlocked. Now go to the other side and open the door. Go pick up the Bomb Flower that is alone. Put it in the middle of the two in front of the big block. Now it should form into stairs. Before you go up you should got to the other room. Behind the statue lies the Compass. You should kill the statue first with your bomb. Now get the compass and go back to the room with the Bomb Flower stairs. Go up then either to your left or right. Go through the door up there. Watch out for the bats there. Go to the statue right in front of the ladder and pull it. Go up the ladder and push the button. Now go through the door. Cross the bridge and go to the next room. Go down the stairs and be careful, because there are spikes. Now go across the room until you see a blue block. Climb it and go up the stairs. Hit the eye switch, and go across the room to the other side. Now in the other room kill the Baby Dodongo’s and go to the next room. Kill the two Lizalfos and go to the other room. In the Lizalfos room there are some hearts if you need them. Hit the eye switch, and then hit the other eye switch to your left when you jump to the platform. Go across to the other room. In here jump to the platform in front of you. Open the chest to your right. You will receive the bomb bag with bombs in it. Go open the door. Push the button. Now the platform that was down there could go straight up to the second floor. Go to your right and throw one bomb in the Skeleton Dodongo’s Left Eye, another bomb in the right eye. Now go down to the Dodongo’s mouth. Go inside. Now in this room go to you’re right and walk straight to the next room. Follow the path until you see two blocks. Climb the second block that is on the wall. Go across to where there is another block. Go to the next room that is behind it. Pass the pots and push the block in front of you down. Now pull I to the hole. Go to the room that just opened. Go and open the chest. Then bomb he ground that looks funny with the bomb. Be prepared to fight.

King Dodongo
When King Dodongo opens his mouth throw in a bomb. He will get hurt. Slash him with your sword. Then just run away from him or use your shield when he rolls. Now just repeat this and he will eventually die. Now another blue light will appear, and also a Heart Container. Get the Heart Container and go into the blue light. Now you will receive the second Spiritual Stone: Goron’s Ruby. After this go to Zora’s River

Zora’s River
Zora’s River is just south from Kakariko Village. When you get there Kapeora Gabeora will speak to you. All you have to do is bomb the rocks. Go pass the river until you reach the end where the waterfall is. Now on the inscription play Zelda’s Lullaby. Now you will enter Zora’s Domain.

Zora’s Domain
Go straight and just pass the Zora King. Go and play the diving game. When you win you will receive the Silver Scale. Now jump down to the pool. Do you see that hole? Go through it, and you should be at Lake Hylia right now. Go swim forward and when Navi turns green press Z and dive. You now found a Letter in a Bottle. Go back to the warp area so you will be in Zora’s Domain again. Catch a fish there with your other bottle (It is by the Zora near the shop). Now go to King Zora and show him that Letter in a Bottle. Now he will move out of the way so you could go to Jabu Jabu’s Belly. Walk past the King and you will now be in Zora’s Fountain. Go in front of Jabu Jabu and drop the fish you caught. Now you are in Jabu Jabu’s Belly.

16. Jabu Jabu’s Belly
Use the slingshot to target the yellow switch on the ceiling to unlock the large red door at the end of the hallway. In the next room walk along the left side of the wall and enter the next room. Go and talk to Princess Ruto and when she falls into the hole follow her. Then talk to her two times. Then pick her up and go through the door to your right. Walk through the hallway until you see a room and a switch in the middle. Now go in the center and throw Ruto across on the other platform. Now push the button and swim to the other side. Walk through the hallway there until you reach another door. Hit the yellow switch with your slingshot so you could open the door. Now go through the door. Jump on the spiky platform to go to the top, or wait for it to come down. When you go up jump to the platform go to the door on your right. Cross the room and go to the door and open it. Go to the right hallway and to the door in front of you. Push the button to open the door and go through it. Kill all of the Rays there and then when the chest appears open it. You will receive the Boomerang. Get out of this room and go straight to the hallway in front of you. Press the button there and drop Ruto there, on the button. Go through the door and now with your boomerang pop the Bubbles in 40 seconds. Then open the chest to get the Map. Now get out of the room talk to Ruto and pick her up. Now go to the door on your left. Kill the Tentacle there with your Boomerang. After killing it Open the chest there it contains the Compass. Get out of that room and go straight to the other hallway and enter the door to your left. Kill the Tentacle and get out of the room and enter the door in the middle of the room. Kill the Tentacle there and then get out of this room and the other room. Go to the room with the holes. Go to the hole that is second to the left. Now go to the door on the platform you just landed on. The Spiritual Stone is right there. All you have to do is throw Ruto there. Now you must defeat the mini Boss Bigocto. You must follow him around until you get behind him, and you could Z-Target him. Now throw the Boomerang at him and then hit him with your sword. Continue this until he dies. Then go on the platform that just went down. Go to the door and open it. Throw the Boomerang at the jelly thing, and jump on it. Then do the same with the other and go to the door. Jump to the platform on your side. Now grab the boxes on the right side of the room. Pick it up and put it on the button. Go to the next room and climb he vines there. You must throw the Boomerang to the button. Now go to the door to fight the Boss.

Barinade
To kill Barinade you must first destroy the tentacles on it’s top with your Boomerang. Then stun its body and hit it with your sword. Then he will spin around. Kill the Jellyfish around it and then stun it. Continue this and when you killed all the Jellyfish it will spin around the room just stun it with your Boomerang and then hit it with your sword. He will shoot lasers but just run away and you’ll be fine. Now after it dies go get the Heart Container and go in the blue light. Now Ruto will give you the third Spiritual Stone: Zora’s Sapphire. Now you must head for Hyrule Castle.

Hyrule Castle
Now you must watch the Movie sequence and then after all that go in the moat and dive to the thing Zelda dropped you, The Ocarina of Time! Now you will learn a new song the Song of Time. Now all you have to do is go to the Temple of Time, and play the Song of Time in front of the platform. Now pick up the Master’s sword. See all of the story. Now you must head to Kakariko Village.
