Chocobo Racing Trick
To get more stamina, hold R1+R2. To get a boost, hold L1+L2+R1+R2.
Sephiroth? No Problem
You must have Mine, DeBarrier, Megaelixers and Wall for this:
Start off by casting Wall on your party. Then use DeBarrier to take down Sephiroth's shield. After that, use all that you've got to attack him, use Mime to hit major damage. While battling, Sephiroth will keep going up higher and higher. This means he's preparing for one of his best attacks, the Super Nova. If you are above 1500 health, it's ok, but I suggest you use Cure (1, 2 or 3 depending on how low your health is) after he uses it.
Just because you get off easy there, doesn't mean there isn't a better attack. There's still an attack called Heartless Angel, which when you get hit, it won't kill you, but your health will go down to 1 every time. This is a perfect time to use a megaelixer. A megaelixer will restore all your HP and MP, so you'll be back at full power. If you keep using this trick, you should be able to win no problem.
Helpfull Accessories
These are some helpful accessories:
Ribbon: To get the Ribbon, you must go into the crater and walk around until you fight a Master Tonberry. (Master Tonberry is a mole like creature with yellow stars around his head.) Attack him a few times, then use Morph. He will turn into a ribbon.
Tetra-Elememental: There is a small desert on the Western Continent. Land there with either the Highwind or a Gold Chocobo. Walk around until you fight a little cactus man thing. Use Morph again, and he'll turn into tetra-elemental. *I recommend using this on Yuffie, since she sometimes hits 9999HP every time*
Fast Materia Level-Ups
For your materia to grow faster, go to the Northern Cave in Disc 3. Walk around until you fight one of those Master Tonberry things again, like the code up there. Steal an elixer from them, then run away. Find them again in a floating pot. They will say, "Gimme an elixer!" Give them one, then kill it. Each one that you kill will give you 1,000AP. *You CANNOT kill them without giving them an elixer*
Gain Limit Breaks Easily
To gain Limit Breaks easily. Just change your status to Fury. To do this, use Hyper on yourself, if your not already in Fury mode. This will make your Limit Breaks go up faster. One way of gaining new Limit Breaks is to use your old ones.*Changing your status to Fury will also lessen your hit rate*
The other way of getting your Limit Breaks is to fight large groups of enemies. Try finding an area where there are always large groups of enemies showing up. *There's one on your way to Rocket Town. When leaving the Nibel Mountains going towards Rocket Town, there's a little forest there. There is always a group of enemies showing up. You can try that place, or find one of your own*
Huge Materia
To get the huge materia in Rocket Town, press: O,Square, X, X as the passcode.
There are 4 Huge Materia that can make other Materia that are very useful.
Blue: To get this, bring Bahamut and Neo Bahamut to Cosmo Canyon and talk to the Blue Huge Materia in that floating thing, you know, where you hid the Huge Materia. By doing this, you'll get Zero Bahamut, or Bahamut Eishiki.
Yellow: Master Steal, Throw, Mime, Manipulate, Morph, Deathblow, and Sense. Go to Cosmo Canyon and talk to the Yellow Huge Materia this time, and you'll get the Master Command Materia.
Red: To get this, you must have mastered all 16 of the Summon Materia. Go to Cosmo Canyon and talk to the Red Huge Materia and you'll get the Master Summoning Materia.
Green: To get this, you must have mastered all 21 of the Magic Materia. Go to Cosmo Canyon and talk to the Green Huge Materia and you'll get the Master Magic Materia.
Level 4 Limit Breaks
Cloud: To get Cloud's Level 4 Limit Break, trade in 32,000 Battle Points at the Battle Center in the Gold Saucer.
Barret: A woman in North Corel will give you his.
Tifa: Go to Tifa's house in Nibelheim and play the piano. Use these notes: X, Square, Triangle, L1+R1+Square, X, Square, Triangle, L1+R1+X, O, X, Square, X. Press Start, and search the music sheet to find Tifa's Limit Break.
Aeris: For everybody out there who already knows, you don't need hers, trust me, you won't need it.
Red Xlll: In Nibelheim, go inside the Haunted Mansion. Go on the 2nd floor. To crack the code, turn the knob, right 36, left 10, right 59, right 97. The safe will open and a mini-boss will appear, beat him, and Red Xlll will get his.
Cid: CId's manual is in one of the chests in the sunken plane.
Yuffie: To get Yuffie's manual, enter the big spiral building in Wutai. With Yuffie, beat all the bosses, even her father. You will also get the Leviathan Materia.
Vincent: Land close to the waterfall, and use either a green, black or gold chocobo, or the submarine to pass the mountain. Enter the waterfall, *You must hvae Vincent on your team and have completed Disc 2* go up ahead and it will show Vincent's Past. Leave. If you are already in Disc 3, go back in, if not, then wait until you get to Disc 3 and go back, if done correctly, you'll get his manual, plus a weapon for him.
*I know there isn't one for Cait Sith, but it's either he doesn't have one or nobody has found it yet. I don't know because I haven't found it yet either. I've given up after about a week of looking. I'll keep looking for his, if he has one.*
Staying Alive
To come back to life after you die, attach the Final Attack and Phoenix Materias to the same slot under your weapon section. When you die, your HP will automatically be restored. This is a good trick to beat Ruby, Emerald and Sephiroth easily. *Make sure you have enough MP to use Phoenix*
Preventing Back Attacks
If you enter a battle in a back attack situation, press L1+R1 (Run) for a while. You'll run towards your enemie. Let go and you'll be facing your enemies. Pretty cool huh? This will prevent you from getting a lot of damafe taken off.
Re-Entering Midgar in Disc 3
To go back to Midgar in Disc 3, go into Midgar, and the guy out front will say he lost a key. Go to Bone Village in the Northern Continent where there's a huge skeleton sticking out of the ground, remember? Tell the digger dude that you want to search for Normal Treasure, remember that, Normal Treasure. Put a couple guys up top near the tent and a couple to the left of the tent, set off a blast and make them dig in the place where all the guys gazes meet. Wait overnight, and go and check the chest down below, if you did this right, you'll receive the key to the Sector 5 Slums.
Tifa's Ultimate Weapon
To get her ultimate weapon, do the trick above. Go back to the Wall Market in the Sector 5. Go to the Item Shop where you got the "Battery" from. Talk to him and he'll say, "Back again? I've got something for you." He'll say you need to pay him 190, 000 Gil. Pay it and you'll get Tifa's Ultimate weapon, God's Hand.
How to Get Vincent
To get Vincent, the awesome gunner. Go back to the Shinra Mansion in Nibelheim. Go to the top floor and open the safe with the commands that you use to get Red Xlll Level 4 Limit Break. *If you don't know that, scroll up to the Level 4 Limit Breaks up there and look it up* After that, beat the boss and go down the spiral staircase where Sephiroth used to be. There should be coffins down there. Vincent is one of those coffins. Talk to him, then leave and come back and talk to him again and he'll join you.
How to Get Yuffie
Near the Old Broken Down Mako Reactor, there's a jungle near there. Wander around inside the forest until you fight an armed little girl. After you beat her, you have to talk to her. There's a save point, DO NOT USE IT. If you use it she'll run away. Talk to her and pick these in order:
1. I don't want to fight you again
2. You're scared of her
3. We need your help
4. You're leaving, without asking for her name
She'll stand there and talk to herself about your materia and stuff like that, then she'll run after you, and she'll join you.
Ultimate Weapons
Cloud- You get the Ultima Sword by defeating the Ultima Weapon, look below on how to find Ultima weapon.
Barret- You get Barret's after you defeat the Metallic thing after you parachute into Midgar. When you're going up the stairs, be sure to open every box and pick up everything on the ground, his weapon is one of those and I think there are a couple of good items there too, I don't know, tell me if there is and I'll put them on here.
Tifa- Tifa's is mentioned above.
*The rest I don't know. If I find one of them, I'll put them on here immediately, if you've already found them, be sure to tell me*
Weapons Location
???????- I can't remember his name, but you fight him when Cloud is trying to recover in the hospital. He's flying around outside, then you fight him around Midgar, and after you give him enough damage, he'll be killed by the laser then Rufus sends out.
Ultima- Ultima is around Midgar after you kill the one above. He'll be hovering over a lake. Run into him, and you'll have to fight him, after that, he'll keep flying around. Just find him, and run into him at full speed about 5 times and he'll start flying straight, follow him until he stops and a little green thing is being held by him. When he finally stops near Cosmo Canyon, this is the last battle you have to fight against him.
Ruby- Ruby is the one living under the desert near the Gold Saucer. Just fly low above him and he'll pop out. I suggest to train a lot and get over about 5000hp before you fight him, since his normal attack takes around 4000hp off everyone.
Emerald- Emerald is found underwater near the Sunken Plane. If you find the Sunken Plane, go in, do your thing and come out and he'll be waiting there. If he isn't, just cruise around the ocean and you'll find him easily, he's too big not to spot. I suggest you train a lot for this one. He's even stronger than Ruby in my opinion.
