Faster Research
Name Guest 1 E=mc2. Name Guest 2 E=mc3. After a while, they will get together and ask to join your enhancement team. Say Yes and they will join. They will make the Research and Development a lot faster.
Preventing Station Brake Failures
Having problems with station brake failures? Coaster keep crashing, ruining your masterpiece? Just put a brake just before the Station Platform at the end of the ride. Put the brake at 4mph to slow it down, but don't give them whiplash, put brakes before that to slow it down. This means, even if the station brakes fail, the coaster won't be going fast enough to explode and kill you guests.
Faster Go-Karts
Name one of your guests "Damon Hill" to make your Go-Karts go faster.
Enter "Michael Schumacher" to make them go blistering fast!
Mega Park
After completing all the scenarios, there will be a Mega Park to be able to choose from. This park is a huge land with no objectives.
Keep Park Rating High
If your on a scenario with water in your park and one of your objectives is to have a high Park Rating, find all of the unhappy guests, pick them up and drop them in the water. This will drown them and your Park Rating won't fall because of unhappy guests.
Frustrated Mechanic
I found this when I was just laying back playing it. If one of your coasters breaks down because of a "Restraints Stuck Open", watch the mechanic fixing it, and he'll use his wrench and try fixing it, but it won't work, then he'll get mad and kick the coaster be hopping on one foot. It hillarious! Just try it out when you have nothing to do.
Saving Crashed Coasters
If one of your favourite self-made coasters crash, and you still want it built in the same spot. You can't just get a mechanic to fix it and hope guests will go back on it, they think they might die! Here's a way to make guests get back on it and ride it. click on your coaster then go up to the top and click on the button that has a disc on it. Click on save track design and save it. Then demolish your coaster and go to re-build another one. Where there are pre-built coasters, you'll see the name of yours. Build it, and make sure the yellow arrow is one spot behind where you want the front of the station platform. You'll have to name it and all that stuff, then put it open and guests will slowly come back to it.
Tips
Here are some tips to help get you more awards and not have so many ride breakdowns:
1. Place a mechanic at every ride exit and use the footprint tool to mark his territory. Put his territory to which ever ride you want at it's exit, then when the ride breaks down or needs to be checked, there will be a mechanic there waiting. To save money, if you have 2 rides close together, put that mechanics territory to both ride exits. Be sure to connect them too!
2. If you spend a lot of time building a monster coaster, but the Intensity rating or the Nausea rating is way too high, put some gentle rides around it and it will help make more guests want to go on the ride. They'll work themselves up to the big rides!
3. If you have a huge park, build a transport ride from the beginning of the park to the very back so that guests can easily get to the back of the park without walking all the way down there. If you want, you could even make 3 station platforms so that there are 3 stops on your transport rides, but that's not possible for a Chairlift.
4. I always do this, put all your rides free, but keep your park entrance fee fairly high, say around $25 or $30. This will attract more guests and make them happy since they still have money in their pockets to buy souveniers.
5. To make more money, put an On-Ride Photo on every coaster you can, put the price at around $2. This will help pay for the ride running fee. It won't pay for all of it though.
6. I've noticed that I put in too many staff members and it puts the staff wages expense up way too high. Keep a low staff count and put their territories big.
7. Instead of putting stalls seperately all over the place, put them all together in a food court style. This will make the guests think twice about not buying any food or drinks before they ride the rides. Be sure to put a lot of benches around, I usually put a little space near the food court and put a lot of benches and garbage bins around. |
