| The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time |
I've highlighted all the important places or things in here, since this is a confusing game.
Child Link:
Beat Queen Gohma Easily
When Queen Gohma climbs up the wall, shoot her with your slingshot and she'll fall down and be dazed. Go up to her and slash her up!
Big Bomb Bag
Go to Hyrule Bowl as a kid and play 2 times. If you win the second time, you will get a Big Bomb Bag. The other way (easier way), go to Goron City and there should be a Goron rolling around on the third floor or second floor. Stop him with a bomb and he'll give you the Bomb Bag.
Free Fish
Instead of buying a fish for Lord Jabbu Jabbu, just catch one with a bottle which you should have since you had that letter inside of one. There should be fish in those little ponds inside black holes or any shallow water locations.
Free Hylian Sheild
Go to Kakariko Graveyard at night. Pull back the grave with flowers in front of it in the first row. Jump in the hole and open the chest. If you already have the Sheild, then the chest will have a Blue Rupee.
Free Lon Lon Milk
To get free Lon Lon Milk, all you have to do is play Epona's Song in front of a cow.
Scarecrow Song
To get the Scarecrow Song, go to Lake Hylia as a kid and show the first scarecrow near the Fishing Pond your Ocarina. He will talk and stuff. He will ask you to play a song, create a song of exactly 8 notes. After that, go to the other scarecrow and do the same thing but play your song you made up. Go back as an adult and play the song to him and he'll teach you the Scarecrow Song.
Adult Link:
Beat The Shadow Temple Mini Boss Easily
This is the way your supposed to beat him. This is for the guy with the arms sticking out that swing at you. Use your Lens Of Truth and you'll see a shadow where he'll pop out. Just stay out of the way and you won't be hurt.
Boot Locations
Iron Boots: you need these for the Water Temple. All you have to do is beat the Ice Cavern near where Jabbu Jabbu was.
Hover Boots- In the Shadow Temple, go through the invisible door in the first room. Keep going through the invisible walls until you find a door that leads to a Dead Hand. Beat it and they will be in the chest. You'll need these to cross over the Black Hole in the first room.
Bottle Locations
Bottle #1- Child- Go to Kakariko Village and talk to the lady near the empty chicken pen. Find all her chickens and put them back into the pen.
Bottle #2- Child- Go to Lake Hylia and find a bottle near the two big posts in the water. You must have the Silver Scale to dive down deep enough. Look below how to get scales.
Bottle #3- Adult- Go to the Lon Lon Ranch and go into the building on the left as soon as you walk in. Play Talon's chicken game and he'll give you a bottle. Look below for the chicken game trick.
Bottle #4- Adult- You know when you're walking into the Market and there's a little walkway where there was a guard and a door and when you went into the room there was a whole bunch of bottles and another guard. Walk in there again and talk to the ghost. Collect enough Poes for 1000 points and he'll give you a bottle.
Beat Mirror Link Easily
To beat him easily, use your Megaton Hammer and he won't be able to mirror your image.
How To Get The Biggoron Sword
To get this sword you have to give things to people:
1- Pocket Egg- Cucco Girl in Kakariko Village
2- Corjiro- Brother of Cucco Girl in Lost Woods
3- Odd Mushroom- Weird Lady behind Potion Shop in Kakariko Village
4- Odd Potions- Kokiri Girl in Lost Woods

7- Prescription- King Zora in Zora's Domain
8- Eyeball Frog- Professor in Lake Hylia inside the Lab
9- Eye Drops- Biggoron on Death Mountain near Crater
You will receive a Claim Check. Wait 3 days or if you can't wait anymore, play the Sun's Song 6 times. This sword is big and strong, use it against Mirror Link, it's really fun.
Scales
This is how to get your Scales which make you dive deeper:
Silver- As a child in Zora's Domain, go left where King Zora is and talk to the Zora. Play the game and if you win, go back up and claim your prize! This will make you dive up to 5 ft
Gold- As an adult, go to the Fishing Pond and if you get the biggest fish, you'll get them from the fishing guy.
Great Fairy Locations
Magic Spin Slash- Child- Blow up door to left near Death Mountain Crater
Din's Fire- Child- In Hyrule Castle near the entrance, you'll see a buch of rocks if you keep going straight after you go over the gate. Blow it up and go in.
Farore's Wind- Child- Go to Zora's Fountain. As soon as you enter, go to the right. Blow up the rocks near the wall and walk in.
Double Magic Meter- Adult- Play the Bolero of Fire. Hookshot over the bridge and head towards where the King Goron's chamber is. Instead head left and use you Megaton Hammer and smash the rocks near the wall. Walk in.
Double Energy- Adult- Once you leave the Market and heading towards Ganon's Castle, go to the right until you see a bunch of rocks. Go past them and you'll see a big column. Use your Golden Gauntlets to lift them.
Secret Red Fairy's
If your low on health, find a Gossip Stone, the stone's with one eye on them. Play one of the following songs in front of it: Zelda's Lullaby, Epona's Song or Song of Storms.
Arrows
Fire Arrow- Go to Lake Hylia. Go across the 2 bridges beside the Lab until you get to a tree. Play the Sun's Song to make it night time, equip your bow. Play the Sun's Song again and shoot the sun.
Ice Arrow- In Gerudo Valley there is a Training Course. Collect 5 keys and open doors to make a patch to the chest in the middle. They'll be in the chest.
Light Arrow- When you collect all the Medallions, Zelda will give you them.
Gold Skulltulla Rewards
In Kakariko Village, you'll find a family who have been cursed, here are their rewards:
10- Adult Wallet
20- Stone Of Agony
30- Giant Wallet
40- Bombchu
50- Piece Of Heart
100- Gold Rupee
How To Get Epona
There are 6 steps to get Epona:
1- As a kid, learn Epona's Song from Malon, the little girl you met at the castle who gave you the egg.
2- Go back and talk to Mr. Ingo. Pay 10 rupees to practice. Instead of riding the horse given to you, play Epona's Song and Epona will come to you. Practice with her for a while until time runs out.
3- Talk to Mr. Ingo again and pay the 10 rupees. Get back on Epona and go and talk to Mr. Ingo. He'll ask you to race. Say yes.
4- If you beat Mr. Ingo, he'll ask you to race again, if you lose, pay the 10 rupees and do the 3rd step again.
5- Beat him again and he'll lock you in.
6- Run at full speed with Epona by pressing the A button and jump over the fence and Epona will be yours!
*Beating Mr. Ingo can be hard if you're not very good at it. Here's a tip, at the beginning, press forward before the race has even started, use one carrot, wait for it to come back, DO NOT waste any carrots. Hug the fence and wait until he moves out of your way, this may not work right if you don't do it perfect so be patient, it might take a while. Then use all your carrots except the last one. Just keep using the second to last carrot through the whole race. DO NOT use your last carrot, if you do, you'll slow down a lot and Ingo will pass you!* |
