A View from Above

In the early weeks of May,2000 eight heavenly bodlies in our Solar system will align.
Theses bodies compromise the Earth, Moon, Mars, Saturn, Jupiter,
the Sun, Mercury, and Venus. This Alignment is known as a Grand Conjunction.
Planetary alignments are fairly rare and getting more than three lined up is an occasion for Skywatchers.Getting them all lined up is a momentus occasion indeed.

This conjunction will occur in the constellation of Taurus
The last planetary alignment we had occured i believe in 1962 in Aquarius
Although no great planetary catasrophes occured there was quite a bit of
social upheaval if you remember. If you look at it in a astrological point of view
each zodiac house rules certain traits. Some scholars have done research relating planetary alignments with a historical timeline. Quite interesting really

Below you'll find some links from various sources on the web
I hope they answer any questions you might have... explore and enjoy
