Leaving Cerulean City:
Now, go to the top right of Cerulean City, where you will see a guard standing in front of a house. Talk to him, and if he doesn't move, you must either beat the boss, or you must venture along the northern path to get to a house where you see a rat man. Press a button on the rat man's computer and he will change back into a scienctist. You must also have beaten the boss, so make sure to do that first before talking to the guard.

After the guard moves out of the way, enter the house and pass through the back door. Once outside, you will be challenged by another guard, which you must defeat. Then take to the far right side of the path and continue downwards. Then go a little left, and you will see two trails heading to the south, plus there is another ledge pathway in the center which you can jump down. If you go down the center, there is a house at the bottom with a guy in it that will upgrade one of your Pokemon (I think).

Then, when you reach the bottom, there will be a building in the center which you cannot pass through, so go into the small building you see to the right. Inside this building is a set of stair which lead to an underground passageway, so take them, then head south in this very long secret tunnel. Once at the bottome of the tunnel, take the stairs up and exit the building that you rise into. Now follow the pathway south, avoiding or fighting the fellow trainers you meet along the way.

Once to the far south, you will enter the next town, which is the fifth city so far and is the home of the 3rd boss. Visit the POKE center and then visit every house in the city and talk to all the people you see, and one will give you a ticket to get onto the big boat.

The Big Boat:
Now go to the SouthEast corner of the city and walk east, until you see a dock leading to the south. Take the dock to the south and follow it along, and eventually a guard will ask to see your ticket. If you have it, he'll let you through, if you don't then go search off in the area east of the dock for the ticket. Once through you will be able to enter the boat.

Now explore the boat to your hearts content, and you're objective is to find the captain of the ship. I will give you a tip though, the captain is not in one of the many doorways you see along the hallways. He has a special room, but you can search all those rooms along the hallways if you want to.

The Cut Ability:
Once you find the captain, you may have to fight him, but then you'll gain the Hidden Machine 01 ability, CUT. Make sure you have a space in your inventory for this command, or it will say you are overloaded.

Now, in your item list, select this ability and it will ask you which creature you wish to use it on. This is where Bulbasaur comes into play. Select Bulbasaur, or if you don't have him, try to trade with a friend to get him or something. Or else, try to find another plant creature that the ability will work on. I don't know of another others.

Now go back to the town, and the ship will sail away, and go to the gym in the bottom left corner. But you can't get to it you say, well see those scragly bushes there. Approach one of them head on, then bring up the main menu, select the second command from the top, which lists your creatures, then select Bulbasaur and select the top command. Now, the bush will be cut down by the power of the Hidden Machine 01.

Note: Once you train an ability to a creature, you do not have to carry the machine around with you any more. But save it though, and put it in the computer in the nearest POKE center.

BOSS 3: (I don't Know His Name)
Once inside this room, there will be a lot of garbage cans. Go around clicking on them, and eventually when you get a different noise and message, it says you found switch number 1. Now save your game and select a garbage can right next to you or nearby. If you found the second switch, the doors to the boss will open and you will be able to fight him. If you didn't find it, start all over again and search for the first switch again in a random location.

When you get the doors open, go up and fight the boss and, simply put, kill him.

The Bike:
Wow, that was a well summarized fight with boss 3, but now you must do something really cool. Go back up to the town of the 2nd boss, Cerulean City, and enter the bicycle shop and approach the counter. Now you can show the owner your claim ticket, and he will give you a bike. Now just select this item from your item list anytime you want and you'll be on a bike, cruising at twice the speed you were before.
