Pokemon Project Studio

Pokemon Project Studio

Game Boy Color gives you the chance to catch 'em all, and with Pokémon Project Studio for your PC you can make 'em all too!

Published and developed by The Learning Company, Pokémon Project Studio is an entertaining software program that gives you the tools to create hundreds of different Pokémon projects.

Like the original Game Boy Pokémon games, Project Studio comes in two versions: Red and Blue. Each version of Project Studio features 81 of the 151 total Pokémon, divided in the same way as the video games.

Pokémon Project Studio is loaded with over 600 different Pokémon graphics and 250 unique Pokémon projects. Using a virtual Pokédex, users are guided through the process of creating custom Pokémon goodies.

The projects are broken down into 15 categories, and each category contains a number of related projects. Here are the different categories:

Birthday Kit: invitations, place mats, gift wrap, banners, place cards
Greeting Cards: birthdays, friendship, invitations, wishes
Signs: birthdays, events, information, sales
Banners: birthdays, events
Photo Fun: frames, add-ons
Stationary: diary pages, letterhead
Character Cards
Envelopes
Calendars
Postcards: announcements, characters
Wearables: badges, masks, bracelets, necklaces, tattoos
Paper: airplanes, fortune tellers
Decorative: keychains, decals
Certificates: achievement awards, gift certificates
Stickers
For each project, you have two choices. If you decide to make your own Pokémon trading cards, for example, you can either create your cards from scratch, or simply make adjustments to the designs provided by Project Studio. As a result, Project Studio can be fun for designers of all skill levels.

As long as you have a color printer, most of the projects can be completed using regular paper. Some projects, like necklaces and keychains, require the use of special shrink sheet paper. Project Studio comes with a supply of shrink sheets, as well as lamination sheets to protect your creations.

With tons of options and great Pokémon graphics, Project Studio is sure to keep you busy for as long as your imagination will allow. The only problem is, you may not have space in your room for all of your new Pokémon gear!

The suggested retail price for Pokémon Project Studio is $24.99.
