Put the Pokémon that you dont want in front.
In Route 1 push start, and go to the Item menu and on the 13th item, push select and B.
In a Battle screen, go to the Pokémon menu and push A on Clefairy.

Put Psyduck in the PC and get it out. Then You should have Mew.
Secret Abilities:
There are 5 abilities that you can teach your monsters. (Note: I translated these from Japanese.)
1. Cut down bushes. In Kuchiba City there is a ship. If you have visited Masaki's then you have a ticket. Get on board and get to the captains room you can get the first ability. It is a very bad attack.
2. Flash: Go through the tunnel where all those moles are. At the other
end you can get the 5th ability Flash IF you have 10 monsters. This is
used for only lighting up a tunnel that you will only have to go through
once.
3. Ride the Waves/surf: in Sekichiku City there is place called Safari Zone. Follow the arrows till you get to the Treasure House. You will get the third ability. You can now swim.
4. Pushing Rocks: near the Treasure House you can the Gold Dentures. Give them to the guy in the house across the road to the left of the Center. He'll give you the 4th ability. When I say left I mean the left of the gameboy. You can now push the rocks like the one in his house.
5. Fly in the Sky: near the Kabigon in Tamamushi there is a bush. Cut
it down, go through the gate and into the house. There will be a girl.
She'll give ya' the 2nd ability.
All 150 Monsters
To get all 150 monsters you must have the blue and red version of
Pocket Monsters. Now play through the game till you find your first
monster. Now go to the field with the Charmanders and capture 1 of
them only. Now plug in your game link to the other version of the
game and press trade rapidly until you hear a tone. Look at your
monster collection and you will have all 150 monsters!
Get Mew
To get Mew, go to Shion Town and ask the nickname changer to
change your Koiking's nickname to Mew. Go into your tools, go
down to the 13th tool and click SELECT at least 8 times. Now ask
the nickname changer to change the Koiking's nickname again. The
monster will blink, the changer won't do it and you have Mew!
Get Missingno
First get to Cinnabar Island. Go into the lab, and inside the first room there should be three people. Two of them want to trade for Pokemon. Trade with them. Then go to the east (right) coast and surf up and down it. Go long enough and you will find Missingno. Then catch Missingno. (Submitted by Eevee_180)
Hidden Monsters:
1. Eievui: In the city called Tamamushi, there is are 2 tall buildings.
One is the shop and the other is an apartment building. Go to the back
of the Apartment building, go in, go up the stairs until you get to the
Penthouse. Go in and get the ball. Now ya' got Eievui. With the
Thunder stone you can make him Thunders, with the Water Stone you
can make him Showers, and with the Flame Stone you can make him
Booster.
2. Ebiwarar or Sawamurar: In Yamabuki City there are 2 gyms. One
is Natsume's, the esper boss, the other the Karate Gym, If you fight
all the trainers in the Karate Gym, you can get Ebiwarar, the punch
devil, or Sawamurar, the kick devil.
3. Laplace: In Yamabuki City there is a giant building called Self
Company. This where they make all the tools. The building has been
taken over by the Rocket Gang. When you get the Card Key you can
get to the room which your rival is in. This room will take you to
Sakaki, the Rocket Gang's boss. Also in this room is a worker of the
Self Company. When you talk to him he'll give you Laplace.
4. Freezer: After beating Kyo, the leader with poison monsters, you
can use Ride The Waves. If you have the ability to push rocks, you
can can to the Twin Caves where Freezer is.
5. Thunder: Once you get Ride The Waves, go back to tunnel where
you use Flash. Get in the water and you'll get to the Un-maned Power
Plant. This where you can get all the electric monsters. At the end
you'll see a bird. It's Thunder!
6. Fire: After you beat all the Bosses, you can go to Champion Road.
Use that thing to push rocks, you can get Fire!
7. Mew Two: this is what you've waited for, After you beat the
Pokemon League, go to Hanada City. Swim to that cave which WAS
blocked by a guy. In the middle of this cave is Mew Two! You should
use the MASTER BALL! But if you have a really strong guy like
Laplace with a high Level then you can use a Hyper Ball.
8. Omnight or Kabuto: remember how in that cave after the first boss
you got one of two fossils. Well, in Glen Town you can give some
guys in the building next to the Center. Go out and go back in and
they'll give you either Kabuto or Omnight. It all depends on which
fossil you took.
9. Ptera: In Nibi City there is museum where you can look at all these
skeletons. When you get the ability to cut down bushes, go to the side
ang cut a bush down. Get the Amber. Give it to the guy in Glen Town.
Do the same thing as in 8.
10. Snorlax: Get pokeflute from Mr.fuji. Find sleeping pokemon. Wake him up with pokeflute. Capture him.
Raise Your Monsters to Level 100:
Go to the 7th item in your Tools. Hit select. Get into a fight. Hit select
on the attack you dislike. It will change. (Note monster must have all
4 attack spaces filled.) Win the fight. Monster will become level 100
and will go to the next stage of it's life (if it has one.) Note: that it will
not change if you use a Stone to make it change.
Easy Level Gain
Train with the first pokemon on your list, then when you get into a fight, select the second pokemon in your list, if you win both pokemon will gain experiance points.
Get Richu
If you have a Pikachu, buy a thunder stone and give it to him then you will have a Richu.
How To Start With Charmander, Squirtle & Bulbasaur
Hook 2 gameboys up (game link) and start the games (both be new games.) Player 1 start your game, pick Charmander and go to nearest Pokemon center. Player 2 start new game and pick Squirtle. Then go
to the same center as Player 1 and trade it to him for some stupid Pidgy or something. Player 2 start another new game and choose Bulbasaur. Then go to same center and trade it to him again. There you
go!!!! 3.
Evole Kadabra, Graveler, Haunter And Machoke
Trade them over connecter cable. The gameboy will say "What? Pokemon evolving."
Hidden Bird Pokemon
1. Take route 9 to area near rock tunnel. Use flash. Make sure you have the action surf. Save game. Capture Pokemon.
2. Fly to Fushia city. Go in gate on your left. See some jumpable cliffs. Go to edge of water. Must have strength. Go to cave on island. Push rocks out of way. Stop current flow in cave. Capture Pokemon.
3. Get eight badges. Go to victory road. At the Pokemon league make way through cave and see pokemon. Repeat steps as before.
Getting Squirttle
Go to the grassy area under pallet town, catch a pidgeotto, cut down the field, catch a sandshrew, cut down the field, catch a ratticate, cut down the field, then a squirttle will appear.
Pokemon Invisible
This is really a glitch not a code. In Celadon City go to the hotel in the bottom right corner and go inside. Face where the computer would be in a Pokecenter and press A. The same screen should come up that
appears when you use the PC in the Pokecenter.
To Get The Waterbottle and how To Go Into Saffron City -
Goto the Pokemon League and fight the Elite Four and your rival in succession. Just keep repeating. Don't fail, or you will lose half of your money!
Pokemon For Fossils
The Pewter City Fossil Center won't resurrect the fossils. They will give you Old Amber with Aerodactyl DNA in it. And the left is the Dome fossil. Right is Helix. The Dome fossil is Kabuto, and the Helix is
Omanite or something. And you can resurrect them at the lab in Cinnabar Island. Either fossil is a addition.
Trades
- Farfetch'd
In the red version, you trade him for Spearow. In the blue version, you trade him for Pidgey.
- Haunter
You get a great deal for the Haunter. It evolves into Gengar when your trade is finished.
- Poliwag
In the blue version, it is Poliwag. In the red version it is a Nindoran(female) for a Nindoran(male).
- Magikarp
You would talk to a boy who complains that he has been gypped 500 L on a Pokemon named MAGIKARP, this is your cue to start saving money! When you pass through the Viridian Forest into Pewter City, go into the PokeStation. You will find an man willing to sell a MAGIKARP. Great news kids. Buy it! After buying it, you will find it is utterly worthless. Don't worry. When you get into Cerulean City downwards and you will find a lone house near a Guard Station. That house is a Pokemon Daycare center. Leave your MAGIKARP there for a while. Go back every once in a while but do NOT take it out until it grown a total of 20 levels. It would set you back quite a bit to get him back but it is well worth it. when reaching level 21 it evolves. I won't tell you what it will become. You'll have to find out!
The Daycare
You can leave the game on all night with the Pokemon in the daycare while you are sleeping if you own a Super Gameboy.
Buy Pokeballs For Free
At the Pokemart, the clerk will ask you "Can I help you?". Select *BUY*, then select *POKeBALLS*, set the quantity to 3 and no yen will be taken. You can do this up until you have 99 Pokèballs.
PokeBall
When you get to Celedon City you will find a Mansion. Find a way to get into the back of the Mansion the outside (meaning when you're in
the town and NOT the mansion). When you get inside, continue upwards on the staircase. There PokeBall on the table of the man who knows everything. Take it. Now that isn't the trick. Not by far. When you go into the Big Dept. Store, buy a Water/Fire/Lightning Stone (Pick one) and depending on which one YOU pick when you use it on Eevee (The POKeMON you got from the man who knows everything) and accordingly it would change into a Vapoeon, Jolteon, or Flareon. Isn't that spiffy?
