Sorry,but Missingno only appears in the blue and red version and also, the gameshark doesn't work on the yellow version(or game genie).

You can battle friends across link cable, as well.For more of a challenge, Pokemon Yellow offers Collesium 2 with new battle options.Before you can start a battle, your Pokemon must meet certain requirments for each multiplayer mode.
Poké Cup:
Poké Cup mode allows you to battle three Pokemon between LV:50 TO LV:55.(The sum of their levels can't be more than 155.)
Pika Cup:
Pika Cup mode allows you to battle three Pokemon between LV:15 to LV:20.(The sum of their levels can't be more than 50.)
Petit Cup:
Petit Cup mode allows you to battle three Pokemon between LV:25 to LV:30.(The sum of their levels can't be more than 80.)Also, they can't exceed 6'8" and 44 pounds.Evolved Pokemon can't compete.

In Pokemon Yellow, when you run into Prof. Oak at the enterance to Pallet Town, he captures a wild Pikachu.Back in the lab, Oak's grandson-your rival-grabs Eevee, the Pokemon originally intended for you.Then Prof. Oak gives you the Pikachu he caught, and your adventure begins.
Pikachu is a fun character to have on your side.As in the animated series, Pikachu refuses to stay in its Pokeball and insists on following you around.Turn and talk to it to learn how it feels about you.At the beginning of the game, Pikachu is unhappy to be stuck with you as a trainer.Use it in lots of battles and keep it healthy, however, it will change its attitude.

Don't try to play the game from the beginning with your friends LV:70 Mewtwo!

Don't Forget Pokemon can only suffer one negaive status at a time!
Do try to match Pokemon in battle to maximize their efectiness!
