Red/Blue, Yellow: Glitches:
1. Extra bike: Simply attempt to put your bike in the PC and you will have a bike in your bag and in the PC.
2. Over 150 of an item: Move the item you want to duplicate in to the sixth slot of your bag. Then talk to the guy in Viridian city and watch him catch a Pokemon. Next, Go to Cinnabar Island and surf up and down the water right beside the gym. Finally, you will find Missingno. Run and you will have the item duplicated. Do this over and over with Master Balls and Rare Candy!!!!
3. Super strong Pokemon: Do the Duplicating item trick and eventually you will find some Pokemon over Lv.100. Be warned as they will go down to Lv.1 if you use a Rare Candy.
4.Infinite Money: On Nugget Bridge, fight the last guy and lose. He will still give you a Nugget, and you can keep on losing to him, getting Nuggets, and selling them!
Secrets:
1. Cut's secondary effect: Cut normally cuts down small trees but if you use it in a patch of grass you will clear that land. The grass will grow back when you leave the area.
2. Diploma: Get all 151 Pokemon in your PokeDex, then talk to the designer in the Celedon Mansion.
3. Infinate steps in the Safari Zone: Just go to the Safari Zone and tap the Control Pad lightly so you do not take a step. You will only turn, but still encounter Pokemon.
4.Surfing Minigame (Yellow only) : Use the Pikachu from your Yellow in every round of the tournament in Pokemon Stadium. Pikachu should learn Surf. Then, tlak to the man in the house on the beach of Fuschia City. You should now have a Surfing Minigame!
5.Walk around and press the A button continuously. You will receive random items.
Gold/Silver, Crystal: Glitches:
1.Duplication: Take the Pokemon you want to duplicate and put it in a box with no other Pokemon. Then, change boxes. When it says "Saving don't turn off the power..." turn off the power. You will have one Pokemon in your party, and one in the box.
2.Freeze your game clock: This is permanent! Go to Vermillian City and talk to the Machop that is stomping around on the ground near the entrance. After talking to it, go to your bag. Then go to Coin Case and look at how many coins you have. Your game will freeze, so reset and the time will be stuck at the time it froze. You do not benifit from this but it is weird!!!!
Secrets:
1.Easy breeding: Get a Ditto. Then, the Ditto will act as either gendre to breed with another Pokemon, even the ones with no gender!
2.Lapras: Go to the tunnel between Azalea Town and Violet City. If you follow the tunnel, then one path will take you to the super-strong Lapras, but this Pokemon will only appear on Fridays!
3.Walk around and press the A button continuously. You will receive random items.
Ruby/Sapphire, Emerald Secrets:
1.Altering Cave: Defeat the Elite 4.
2.Battle Frontier (Emerald only): Defeat the Elite 4.
3.Pokemon from G/S/C in the Safari Zone: Defeat the Elite 4 to unlock two new areas.
4.National Pokedex: Defeat the Elite 4 and visit Prof. Birch.
5.Battle Steven, the real Champion: Defeat the Elite 4, and find Steven in Meteor Falls. |

Hints for Red/Blue, Yellow:
1.Many items: There are many rare items in Mt. Moon. Search everywhere to obtain useful items.
2.Order of battling your rival: When you enter Lavender Town, complete the tasks of obtaining the fourth badge and defeating Giovanni before battling your rival in the Lavender Tower. He will be very easy since you have been training.
Hints for Gold/Silver, Crysal:
1.Breeding Pichu and powerful Pokemon: To breed Pichu, you only need one Pikachu. You can get a Jolteon, or a Ditto of the opposite gender to breed the rare Pichu. For breeding super powerful Pokemon, teach the two Pokemon you want to breed really strong attacks, like Hyper Beam and Fire Blast. The new Pokemon will inherit these attacks!
2.Hatching eggs: Go to Goldenrod City, and bike up and down the stretch of city between the Day Care Route and the northern exit of the city. In no time, your egg will have hatched!
3.More breeding: Any legendary Pokemon, or baby Pokemon cannot breed.
4.Easy money: Make sure your Pokemon can defeat the Elite 4. Then, keep on battling them until you have enough money!
5.Ultimate Team: When battling Red in the final battle, include Houndoom and Alakazam in your party, because these two Pokemon alone will take down a few Pokemon.
6.Gym Leaders matchup: When battling Gym Leaders, stock up on Pokemon of a super effective type. Beware! Sometimes Gym Leaders will have a Pokemon that is not of the Type he/she trains. It may be unwise to use just one Type of Pokemon.
Hints for Ruby/Sapphire, Emerald:
1.Starter Pokemon: When choosing your starter, consider choosing Torchic. It will evolve into Combusken and learn Double Kick, which will be very effective against Roxanne's Pokemon. Combusken's Peck will be very effective vesus Brawly's Pokemon. Also, Combusken's Fire Attacks will be good against Wattson's Steel Type Pokemon.
2.Unlocking the Regi's: When unlocking the Regi's, you need a Relicanth in the first slot of your party and a Wailord in the last slot. |
