| Here are the Elite Eight: 1. Bulbasaur: 40 HP, Leech Seed: 20 damage, Bulbasaur regains 10 HP. This Pokemon has a built-in Potion. If you use grass Pokemon, this is a must-have. 2. Hitmonchan: 70 HP, Jab: 20 damage, Special Punch: 40 damage. This is one of the best all-around Basic Pokemon. Watch out for Psychic. 3. Charmander: 50 HP, Scratch: 10 damage, Ember: 30 damage. Discard one fire energy card from Charmander to use this attack. Another good basic Pokemon. If you have Charmeleon and Charizard, you're next to unbeatable. 4. Koffing: 50 HP, Foul Gas: 10 damage, flip a coin. If it is heads, the other Pokemon is Poisoned. If tails, it's Confused. You can't lose with this one! 5. Onix: 90 HP, Rock Throw: 10 damage, Harden: all damage done below 30 does not effect Onix. Put him in to bide your time. 6. Jynx: 70 HP, Doubleslap: 10x damage. Flip two coins. It does 10 times the number of heads. Meditate: 20 damage plus 10 for each damage counter on defending Pokemon. Wow! 7. Elecatabuzz: 70 HP, Thundershock: 10 damage. Flip a coin, and if it's heads, the other Pokemon is Paralyzed. Thunderpunch: 30+ damage. Flip a coin. If it's heads, this attack does ten more damage, if tails, Electabuzz does ten damage to itself. It doesn't evolve, but then again, it doesn't need to! 8. Poliwag: 40 HP, Water Gun: 10+ damage. This attack does ten plus ten more damage for each water energy on Poliwag. This can not be more the two water energy. A good basic Pokemon, with high HP for a water Pokemon. Here are the five most powerful cards in my point of view. These Pokemon aren't on the Elite Eight because of how long it takes to be at full strength. Most take four energy just to do an attack, others are 2nd evolution level, which takes at least three turns to get. 1. Charizard. By far the most powerful, with Fire Spin that does 100 damage, it is almost unbeatable. 2. Zapdos. It has another 100 damage attack. 3. Ninetales. 80 damage with Fire Blast. 4. Magneton. Surprise! Its 80 damage Selfdestruct kills itself, too. 5. Arcanine. Two great attacks! Flamethrower does 50 damage, and Take Down finishes the opponent off with 80 damage. |
