Sorry that there are some mistakes on this page. If you find one please notify me.
Warning! Some of these codes may screw something up in your game. A ! next to a code means I have tried the code and it will mess up your game. A ? means I haven't tried the code, and a * next to a code means that I have tried the code and it won't hurt your game.
?1. Dragonite evolve into Yoshi- To do this code, you need a Red version, a Blue version, two Game Boys, and a Game Link. Each version must have been beaten and have all 150 Pokemon.
Step 1: The Red version should buy a Fire Stone.
Step 2: The Red version should catch a Dratini and trade it to the Blue.
Step 3: The Blue version evolves the Dratini to a Dragonite and trades back to Red.
Step 4: The Red should go to the basement of the Unknown dungeon and stand where Mewtwo was. Choose the fire stone off the item list and use it on Dragonite. (It will say not available, but use it anyway.)
Step 5: The screen will glitch and Dragonite will evolve into Yoshi.
Yoshi has the same stats as Dragonite, except for I.D. No. 999 and there will be a picture of Yoshi.
!2. Getting Missingno. or M'- These Pokemon are more like glitches than an actual Pokemon. I recommend you get this one before you beat the Elite Four, because it scrambles your Hall of Fame List. Step 1: Go to Viridian City (It doesn't matter how). Step 2: Talk to the man who needs coffee at the beginning of the game. Say you're not in a hurry. Watch him show you how to catch a Pokemon. Step 3: Fly to Cinnabar Island. Switch an item you want to have more of to sixth down on your item list. (Press select on the item, move the cursor to item six, and press select again.) Move along the edge of the buildings to the right until you get to the waterside. Step 4: Surf up and down the east shore.
!3. Getting Unlimited Items: See No. 1, getting Missingno.
4. Catching more than one Mewtwos: Do the Missingno. code and knock it out. Keep surfing.
*5. To find a PC that can't be seen: This is a fun code, though not very useful; a Pokemon Center would be easier. There is a building in Celadon City that is a hotel for people (as opposed to Pokemon). Inside, it has a counter like a Pokemon Center. Look into every building in Celadon until you find it (that is, of course, only if you don't know where it is already). Once inside, go and stand where the PC would be in a Pokemon Center. Press the A button. An invisible PC!
*6. Getting Safari Zone Pokemon outside the Safari Zone:
First, pay to enter the Zone. Then, walk around in the area the Pokemon you want lives to waste time. When time runs out, surf down from Fushia City to Seafoam Island. Make sure you don't get into a trainer fight. Surf up and down the coast. Be patient, because the rare Pokemon like Chansey and Tauros are even rarer now. The Nidorans get really frusterating, as they are almost the only thing you usually see after doing this code. I have about 50 of them now.
*7. Fishing in Gyms: Just drop a line in the statues at the entrance to the gym. Just think what Blaine would say if he knew there was water in his gym...
*8. Good places to find items with the Itemfinder:
-Nugget on Route 7 Underground Path
-Full Restore, X Special on Route 5 Underground Path
-Rare Candy behind house in Cerulean City. This is the house in the upper right corner of the city nearest the Unknown Dungeon.
-Great Ball in trash can in kitchen of the S.S. Anne
-Great Ball in Viridian forest near the boy that says he dropped something.
*9. Better odds at slot machines: Go to the one above the guy that always calls you "Champ in Making" in Gyms. It has better odds.
!10. Catch Pokemon over level 100: Do the Missingno. code. When you see one, knock it out and keep surfing. You should see some very powerful Pokemon. |
