Unlimited Gold: Begin by playing on multiplayer and give all the gold to one character. Save the game with the gold character but with no one else. Restart and the player that was not saved will have the same amount of gold as the first. Give it all to the first character and do this over and over until you have unlimited gold.
*This also works with elixers.

If you are just starting out and slowly are acquiring items make sure that when you go to town throw out all your items on the ground in your belt pouch except for one potion (Such as Full reguvenation) then throw out everything else until you have nine times on the ground then throw out your last belt pouch item and it will be duplicated providing it was a potion. This is very helpful if you don't have that unlimited (which is limited to about two hundred and fifty thousand) gold. One problem with this is that if you try to throw one of these duplicated potions out they disappear. But after you have gotten the spectral elixer from from the priest you should be able to max out all of your ability scores. If I remember this didn't work with scrolls. Just potions.
