A Tribute To My Sister Thank You For Your Support
Writing the content for the medical community was fairly easy. Im fortunate enough to know a very special person in the medical profession, my sister. Shes been a nurse for about 15 years, and the demands of the job have finally worn her down. Most of us take doctors, emergency medical technicians and nurses for granted after all they are paid very well for the positions they hold. But prestige comes with a very high price tag, sanity and the weight of the world on your shoulders. As we lie helpless these angels in white look over us, take care of us and take responsibility for our lives. They take on this task knowing that sometimes they wont be able to silence our cries of pain or stop the inevitable. Mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, daughters, sons, wives and husbands they feel our pain yet they must remain detached from their own personal feelings. Panic and sorrow is not a luxury they can allow themselves to feel as one false move, one distraction can be catastrophic. They run in the hallways most of the time giving up their breaks so they can take care of all their patients. Unfortunately theres a tremendous nursing shortage requiring that every angel in white carry a very heavy patient load.
Have no doubt behind that stethoscope beats a very human heart. To all my Tired Angels in white I say thank you and I shed a tear for every time you wished you could cry!
